We've only been once for dinner and once for drinks but this is a really great local place. Service is always good. Really cute inside, they've left all the original woodworking and it feels true to the time. Food was good and decent portions. Fun date night spot!

The food was absolutely phenomenal!! I had the gnocchi and it just melted in your mouth, so delicious!!! The brussel sprouts were also amazing! My dad had the scallops and the blackened on them were excellent and done just perfect! The brownie desert was perfect between gooey and crunchy! The salmon was also great! Drinks were just how we like them! The espresso martini was great and I tried the Lavender martini it was sweet and refreshing! Our server Jackie went above and beyond! She was quick, very kind, and helped with some allergy restrictions we had at the table! Phenomenal service! The ambiance was great! Love the history and we had our own little room!

New restaurant that just opened in Massillon in July 2021 and it has a really nice atmosphere with plenty of character. The building built before the civil war doesn't have the traditional restaurant feel. Lots of interesting decor and homey touches. The music seemed a little out of place initially (techno remixes of easy listening pop) but did a nice job of adding some anonymity to conversations and was a pleasant addition. They have an enticing cocktail menu and we started with a round of drinks. The mojito was well balanced and the "fashionably late" take on a classic old fashioned was outstanding. We opted for soup and salad in place of appetizers but would probably choose differently next time. The house salad was passable and the French onion was average. The meat dishes were the stand out - top notch, I ordered the Chicken Thighs with Chorizo and my wife ordered the Strip Steak. The steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned expertly and finished with a delectable gravy. The "frites" were thin cut fair type fries - not the steak style fries my wife expected. The chicken and chorizo was served in a flavorful broth and laden with peppers and seasoning. The side dishes are offered a la carte and we did order the spinach. It was excellent. Probably would have enjoyed rice or mashed potatoes with the chicken fish. Biggest area of improvement would be the service. Our server was pleasant but wasn't around very often. We would have liked some side dish recommendations, specials, salt and pepper offered, just a generally more experienced server for a higher end place. The manager did deliver our wine and answer questions which was a great touch. We look forward to visiting again and requesting patio seating.

The ambiance of this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! My guest and I were seated in a separate room which made the experience even better. Our server was very attentive and made sure to check in on us on the busy Saturday night rush. Our food was hot and very flavorful. I would suggest higher quality appetizers for the prices listed. My favorite cocktail was the jalapeño margarita which I didn't get a photo of.

Dear Yelpers, My wife isn't the biggest social butterfly...but after this trip to the Stone House, she is for SURE a Socialite now! I honestly don't think there was anything we didn't like about our meal. I got the Caesar Parmesan chicken breast and it was amazing. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors jumped off the fork with each bite. Even tasted good with the zucchini noodles, and I'm not a zucchini guy. My wife had the short rib sliders that were tasty but definitely a smaller plate so if you're hungry, probably want to avoid that one. We also got to try a couple appetizers. The BBQ chicken flatbread was honestly probably worthy of being its own meal. Even with the pickles, it was a table favorite. To top it off, we finished with pretty much all the desserts you can think of. The doughnuts were small, sweet, and delicious. The cheesecake was pretty good and the gluten free carrot cake was actually tasty! It did have a little bit of a different texture. BUT the real gem is the wine menu. They have red wines that will blow your socks off! (And probably hurt your wallet...) but if you are looking for a good cab you'll definitely find it here! Your friendly neighborhood foodie

I've only been here once and will update this review after I have tried more dishes here, but my first impression was excellent. The building has an incredible ambiance and the bartenders where friendly. The food options and quality remind me of some of the best restaurants in Cleveland, so I am happy to see something of this caliber this pop up in Massillon. I do get the impression that for dining this place is going to be packed and need a reservation. Thankfully they do support OpenTable.

Lovely old home that is revived into a beautiful restaurant. Rather high end menu. Great for steak and seafood.

The third floor is such a vibe. You'll likely need reservations if going on the weekend.

The line from the counter stretched all the way back to the door, which gave us plenty of time to people watch and admire the beautiful space after picking our drinks. The baristas were friendly and welcoming. The line was moving slowly - a combination of people asking questions and an ordering process that seems a little inefficient (we noticed they were tracking available pastries on Post-It notes). Our drinks were available quickly, and they were delightful. I had the spiced orange chai with oatmilk and my husband had a gingerbread latte. My chai was sweeter than I would prefer, but now I know that for next time. Everything in the pastry case looked incredible. We passed this time because we had finished breakfast. I'd be interested in coming back in the evening to try some of the cocktails. I think they have some kinks to work out when they're busy; overall, it was a good experience. Union Park is a nice addition to the Belden area!

We sat outside on the upper patio and there were servers that checked on other tables but didn't check on us. Not sure if it's because we carried our food and drinks up from the counter ourselves or how that works. Two of us ordered the lucky charm matcha (good luck charm?), the description sounded amazing. The actual drink was less so, just matcha and oat milk and whipped cream- when I asked about the lucky charm marshmallows I was told they have been out of them for weeks. I might've ordered a different drink if I'd known that, it sort of sold me! The food was good, we ordered the dumplings, cinnamon roll, raspberry rhubarb pop tart, and tiramisu. The best thing of all was the cinnamon roll, the tang of the cream cheese icing kept everything from being too sweet. The tiramisu was beautiful presented and the cream was fantastic, the lady fingers were over soaked in strong espresso, we couldn't finish that element. The pop tart was lovely. Couldn't tell if the dumps were frozen or homemade but they tasted good, and we loved the carrot salad they came with. All in all a great experience, and will be wonderful to return to in this warm season with such a nice double decker patio!

Since the last time I couldn't stop thinking about the Lobster Bisque and unfortunately this visit something changed with the recipe or preparation. So this most likely changed my entire perception of everything, but there is one thing that my wife and agreed on and that was the complimentary bread. It had no flavor and tasted dry and stale at room temperature and what ruined it was ice-cold unsalted butter. My salad house salad was okay and the white French dressing was just okay. My wife enjoyed her Caesar Salad. Our appetizer was the highlight of the evening as their version of Bang Bang Shrimp was AMAZING enveloped in filo pastry with a cheese mixture inside that surprised us. The dipping sauce wasn't even needed. My wife enjoyed her Surf and Turf. My Ribeye was more on the rare side which I ordered Med Rare so I took 75% home with me and just cooked it. Because dessert for us. We were impressed that they offered us complimentary Prosecco which added a nice touch. We had great service and impressed that the owner once again came over to our table to check on us multiple times. I'm unsure what happened to that outstanding Lobster Bisque!!!!
