We just did the lunch snowmobiling tour with T-Lazy-7 Ranch last week. Since our group was 10 people, we got a private group with 2 guides which was awesome. Berger and Elyse did such an awesome job taking us through Maroon Bells and the Dean ranch. We loved the short history lessons along the way, the photos ops in Maroon Bells and the AMAZING lunch at their cabin in the woods. Honestly, greatest experience and worth every penny! Amazing snowmobile experience with our guides Matt and James. Got a double snowmobile for my friend and I to share and neither of us had ridden before. They explained how to use it simply and succinctly and were checking on us as we went along. There was still enough freedom to feel like you were on your own at times. Beautiful ride out to Maroon Bells where we stopped for hot chocolate. Couldn't have asked for more and would definitely recommend and come back. I'd do an even longer tour next time! Highly recommend booking with them! Not only are they extremely affordable for this area, they've got AMAZING service! We didn't book a rental car during our trip but they offered to pick us up/drop us off at Aspen Highlands free of charge. They continued to go above and beyond on our tour with Matt and Kaleb. Being from Hawaii, I'm not very used to the cold and don't have many winter accessories. When I mentioned my feet were very cold in the shoes I had, they quickly offered to grab and lend me some of the boots they had at the ranch, which were MUCH warmer than mine. AND gave me some hand warmers for my gloves. The tour was beautiful and the service just made it that much more enjoyable. Will 100% be booking with them again next year! read more

Amazing amazing amazing!!! I had the most fantastic experience on my Maroon Bells snowmobile tour! Arrive 30+ mins early of your tour time because if you have large heads like us, it will take a while to get fitted for the perfect full face helmet. The employer who helped us, Burger (his last name I think?), was very patient with us having to constantly try on different helmets until we got the perfect one. He also offered me a jacket since he saw I was only wearing a sweater. That was extremely kind of him. Instructions given on how to operate the snowmobiles were provided in simple terms. Very straightforward. The guy even made some funny jokes which helped those who were nervous to operate a snowmobile for the first time. The tour was so beautiful and very scenic! Great tour to take lots of pics. My two tour guides, one man with an English accent who I think said is from Liverpool and Burger were both amazing guides to have. One of them was in the front leading the tour while another was in the back making sure everyone was doing ok and still able to follow along with the tour safely. I did a snowmobile tour in Utah once and we were only provided 1 guide who drove in the front of the group. What was horrible about that is that 2 individuals ended up almost crashing their snowmobile and the guide was too far up to even notice, so we lost them from the tour group. So I tremendously appreciate the fact that this company provides 2 guides for their snowmobile tours, 1 in the front and 1 in the back. We stopped a few times during the tour so that our guides could share with everyone some interesting historical facts about the area. We were provided hot coco once we reached Maroon Bells. The guides helped everyone take amazing photos of with the gorgeous views in the back. They did a great job with getting all the good angles too! I will 10/10 recommend this to all my friends and family. All the employers were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Didn't quite know what we were getting into, but this ended up being our favorite part of the trip to Aspen. I had never driven a snowmobile before, but Dagwood made sure that I was comfortable with the basics. Caleb and Lindsay were our group's (10 people from my company) guides and made it a great experience. They were super friendly, had the right mix of humor and knowledge from the ranch and Aspen's history, to the trees and wildlife. We spotted moose, foxes, and had a fun photo op with Canadian gray jays. Before turning around to head back, we got the most amazing views of Maroon Bells that were breathtaking. While we didn't have our child with us, we did see plenty of parents that had children ride with them from ages that looked as young as 3, but I would check for age limits. One last tip, there is a small storage compartment on the snowmobile that you could fit a small purse or items like glasses case, etc. Covid note: we felt safe, distanced enough and that they took proper precautions. read more

Had a super fun day snowmobiling at T-Lazy-7 Ranch. Everyone from the staff to all the guides were super friendly and so helpful with providing warm clothes and boots helmets etc. My husband drove and I was able to take some photos of the spectacular scenery. Our guide Sam kept us entertained and was also very knowledgeable about the interesting history of the area, when we made a few stops. We were able to pet and feed the donkeys on one of the stops. We were privileged to have a happy couple become newly engaged during our tour as they were surrounded by the fabulous scenery. Hubby fulfilled his need for speed racing during the last few minutes before stopping at the hot drinks cabin. Huge thank you to all at the T-Lazy-7 Ranch for a really enjoyable day!! read more

Came for the Maroon Bells snowmobile tour and wow was this an amazing experience!! They followed all CDC and covid precautions so I felt safe throughout my whole trip. The sights are amazing but what blew this over the top were the guides(Kai & Sean)! They were beyond knowledgeable and had answers for all the questions that were asked. They had an amazing amount of enthusiasm and made you enjoy the trip even more. The icing on the cake was the apple cider offered at the lake. I will definitely be recommending and coming back here!! Made to look like a 19th century Aspen lodge, this place scores big as a special events facility. The perfect setting for a perfect Aspen wedding, with a be-flowered altar in a meadow, looking out to Pyramid Peak through a grove of Aspen. Snow on the mountains. Horses eating hay behind the wedding couple. Couldn't have been more Aspenesque. And the food was dyno-mite. Great setting for about 100-200 people. Intimate, but large enough to handle that kind of crowd, without feeling jammed in. Big logs. Neat views. Excellent servers, and an owner-named Jack-who is a down-to-earth dude, in the best sense of the term, "dude." Check it out for any group event. You'll love it. read more

Super fun day driving up to the Bells and back. 5 stars for the location (they are the only company with access to the bells via snowmobile in the winter) and the guides. They promote the lunch tour with a "waygu beef cheeseburger" but you can skip that. I think it cost an extra $40 or $50 and we got a frozen patty thrown on a grill that was meh, a bag of baked lays chips, and a mass-produced chocolate chip cookie that was also meh. Maybe you can't actually buy lunch in Aspen for that price but I'm sure there is a better burger out there. I'd do the tour without the lunch next time unless they step up their game there. Glenwood Springs and Carbondale both have amazing restaurants that are affordable and it is a beautiful drive. I'm a local and took my family who was visiting on the tour. read more

Guides were great. Ski's were old. We paid for Maroon Bells tour but conditions didn't allow us to go over to maroon bells so we just played around and went up a few trails. Even though they gave us a percentage off the initial rate of $75 off, i don't feel it was worth it especially with the conditions. The helmets smelled awful and the ski's were old. Giving this 3 stars because the staff was great but i've been to other places like Vail where the equipment was nicer and the trails were worth it. read more

look the guides are nice and all but the snowmobiles are old af over heating broken down unreliable. We booked the hour and half tour and rode for less than half that. we stopped 4 times and I think it's to stop the engines so they don't over heat. we once stopped for 30 minutes so ALL the families could take bs pictures. I didnt pay $300 to take a picture. Also, the routes are TERRIBLE unkept bumpy and repetitive. save your money for lift tickets and go to the coaster rail at Snowmass which is great but pass of the tubing combo read more

Today took the independence pass tour with Ryan and Sam; it was fabulous! Our group was small (late cancellations) and SO enjoyed the friendly and informational crew. Felt right at home! They provided helmets, warm arctic boots and winter jumpsuits for those who needed extra warmth. We have driven the Independence Pass several times and were so excited to see the magnificence of winter in the Rockies! The snowmobiles were great and the scenery breath-taking. Sam and Ryan stopped along the way to give us some history surrounding the pass, it's beginning, some fascinating facts connecting the importance of the pass with the development of Aspen and its progress through the last 200 years. Totally enjoyed the group. At lunch we enjoyed a great home cooked cheeseburger and the ambiance of an old US Forest Service cabin. We warmed up by a pot-bellied stove and had a great time. My husband, son and daughter in law took the Independence Pass snowmobiling tour today with our guides, Ryan and Sam. They were very knowledgeable of the history and current events of the area. They were very attentive to everyone's needs and comfort. Sam cooked the most amazing burgers complete with "cowboy onions". The snowmobiles were sooooo nice, complete with heated seats and handles and were the "Cadillac" of snowmobiled. The trails were great and the sceneery breathtaking. Ryan, the "bird whisperer" brought the birds in for us to feed. A fabulous way to see the pass and have a winter wonderland adventure! read more

This place is one for the books! Let me just tell you, that when I say it I mean it! I am a person with very high expectations. Therefore believe me when I say This place knows their stuff and goes above and beyond with their service and execution. I found T-Lazy 7 while looking online to book activities for our group trip to Aspen. Being that we are no experts on the mountain but love four wheelers and jets skis back home, this experience seemed right up our alley. We initially booked the independence tour and were to join 10-15 others on the most advanced and fun ride....only to learn something happened with our reservation. We were left standing in negative temps waiting on a pick up that would never happen. Of course, being angry I immediately spoke with the receptionist about the mistake. In less than 10 minutes they worked with the concierge at our hotel to provide a private tour with round trip transportation. Though a little skeptical I quickly learned this crew knows how to take care of their people. We really enjoyed the tour with our guide! He was super personal and very attentive (as I can be very challenged in the outdoors / equipment kind of area). The stories and the views were amazing! To top it off they had the best Apple Cider and Burger to finish of the day along with a little time in an open field to have some fun at higher speeds! I highly recommend this place and the guys at T-Lazy 7! We will be back to experience more. This was a fantastic tour on snowmobiles. While it is guided, it is not a slow pace. Our guides, alicia and kaleb, were very friendly, knowledgeable, but you knew that safety was their main concern. This is an excellent tour. We didn't get to see the bells because there was too much snow, avalanches... but, we didn't miss it. The tour goes through a scenic path. You see such amazing views. We're learned a little about the area. There were a lot of people, so we got out around 9:45 ish. All of the sleds have heated handlebars for the driver (in high, the heat is too hot). You can use their bibs or overalls. They also have boots. Obviously, you get helmets. Bring sunglasses. We stopped at their cabin for lunch. It is a good hamburger/ cheeseburger, with all the timings and grilled onions. Lots of chips, salsa. For dessert, cookies. The best part of lunch were the birds. They have the birds eating out of your hand. You get to race around an oval in an open area, which was great. My wife decided to finally drive. The tour guide stayed right with her just in case. The two tour guides were very concerned that everyone had a great and safe time. One note: safety was impressed by the guides, yet the owner was leading a group and he was wearing a baseball cap, not a helmet. Owner gets one star. Summation. Definitely a trip to go on. read more

Fantastic tour. These guys took us to places that I would not be able to see on skis. Our 2 tour guys are very helpful and friendly. The snowmobiles are in good working order and we were provided with motorcycle helmets. These were very handy since it was snowing heavily and definitely shielded our faces from wind and snow. You can wear regular sunglasses on a sunny day with these helmets but ski goggles would not work. Highly recommend this tour. read more
