US Cellular services declined since it affiliated with T-Mobile. It is consistently understaffed for the number of customers waiting for service. The folks answering the phone are not that helpful. Some of the sit-down people are good. Yesterday I was in the Janesville location and there was a whole line of people who were experiencing phone problems due to a network outage. Young dark-haired lady totally customer to leave because he was holding a dog. The poor dog was Old and panting and the customer couldn't leave him out in the truck and it was very hot and humid. I think that if this dark-haired woman was a manager she exercised very poor discretion considering The health of the dog and the weather. Very poor judgment. Honestly some of the rudest customers service ever. We went in to get the new iPhone 16 and it was the most uncomfortable experience ever... the seller was super condescending and very rude. We were told that the bill was going to increase by a certain amount and we were told we would get this amount for trade-in but we never got any of this written on paper, extremely unprofessional. Then when we found a deal on a phone in certain color, the seller act like that deal didn't exist and then started pressuring us to get a more expensive version of the phone... it was uncomfortable and she straight up said she makes commission off of this, just so unprofessional and predatory! read more

They overcharge you on your bills but they do have a good selection for phone in general

I had tried a variety of cell phone services including 2 at the same time when I went to this US Cellular. Misty helped me with the set up and the purchase of the phone. She was knowledgeable and patient since I wanted to keep at least one of my long time phone numbers. I am pleased with the phone and the quality of service. I have been back twice with simple questions. Both times I received help quickly and without difficulty. I am glad to be with a company that has a store & help nearby as one of my previous companies was all online. read more

Awesome customer service. I have never dropped a call or lost service ANYWHERE in 14 years. Might be a little more expensive than some cheaper lower end carriers but you get what you pay for. read more

This was customer NO service at it's best. We walked in to buy 2 iPhone's, waited a short time to be taken care of, and then it began. An employee who I had to pull a conversation out of, and drag answers to my questions from. He seemed very uninterested in our business and not at all eager to take care of us. We decided to switch our very old, very out dated plan which now makes more financial sense, and still do not have a clue what we have. We were left to set up our own phones, he did not really explain anything unless we specifically asked. After finalizing our phone purchases, and plan change, I went home to complete the updates and things for the setup. Unfortunately one of the phones was malfunctioning and seriously over heating. I called this salesman who told me to call if I needed anything and explained what was happening to one of our 2 hour old phones, he said I have 15 days to try it out. I said no, I want it replaced and would be in. When I got there, he was not only reluctant to return the phone, he tried to tell me he did not think he could swap it out. I told him that was ridiculous for a 2 hour old defective $800 phone and that he was going to swap it or have one very angry situation. He immediately turned to his manager who after I handed him the phone to feel it agreed it was not right, this even after it had already started cooling down. Then the salesman had to ask whether to charge me a restock fee, REALLY, how seriously messed up is that? The manager told him to waive the fee. Long story short, I left with a new phone and having to once again set it up myself. Yes the manager did the right thing by us, but this salesman should find a new career. One more side note, this kid had an awful cold and did nothing to protect us from it. Wow, I must say, in all the years I have been with this provider, this was the absolute worst experience ever.
