Generally not friendly staff and overall rude including the store manager. Requested a quote for an upgrade to a new iPhone and was told it would be $30/month. The next day I went to an actual T-Mobile (in Walnut Creek) NOT an "authorized retailer" and got the exact same new iPhone for $8/month. Crazy. Plenty of mall or street parking Service - 5 stars, team members were good but not experienced enough to help me. He made a few "coded" comments to his co-worker? Not sure what that was all about? Then he called "corporate or customer service" and the person on the phone walked him through the process to port over our phone #. The team member said it would take 2 hours to port; he said that was a standard answer. The two phones that I activated in T Mobile Reno NV took only 5 minutes each...? See other 5 star Yelp review. Okay, so we left and by the time we got to the car, 5 minutes later, our phone was up and running! FYI - We have been to 4 different stores now, in 4 different cities, and every review has been 5 stars!! The service at the store level is so much better than over the phone! Price - N/A. As we just became customers and are going through the transition of porting over all of our phones and learning the T Mobile benefits. I recently visited this T-Mobile store to purchase an upgraded phone for my son as a Christmas gift, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The representative, Ashley, was incredibly rude and refused to help me. I was told by her that she couldn't assist me because she was off the clock in about 40 minutes, but the transaction I needed(upgrade) would have been completed well before her shift ended I have done it plenty of times. Before coming to the store, I called ahead to confirm if a few phones were in stock. After refusing to help me because she had approximately 40 minutes left Ashley said "whatever f*** it I know what to do". She walks into the room where the phones are kept for not even 10 seconds literally! She walked in the room and walked right out. When she came out she said "You need to go to a different store the phone not here we can't help you".I can confidently say she didn't even make an effort to check properly. To make matters worse, she displayed a nasty attitude, not only toward me but also toward her coworker who politely suggested she assist me while he was assisting another customer. Her lack of professionalism and dismissive behavior made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. I am thoroughly disgusted with the way I was treated and will not be returning to this location. T-Mobile needs to address such poor customer service immediately. read more

I called this location specifically if they're able to transfer my account from Sprint to T-mobile, then upgrade my phone, along with getting a family plan. I tripled checked if all three were doable since reps usually makes the most simple tasks so complicated. Confirmed it was all doable and anyone in the store would be able to help. I confirmed their name and asked what days they would be working so I would be able to go in on his working day for him to help. I dropped in on the day the guy was supposedly working but sure enough he was off. Went to an available rep, he looked up my account. Ended up telling me that because this store isn't a corporate T-mobile store, they're unable to help me with anything. I let him know I had called in prior and spoke to someone who confirmed anyone in the store can help me, but he was adamant that it can't be done. He just shrugged, let me know that the guy isn't working and only corporate stores can make the switch. Every time I come to this store, no one is able to help with anything! Experience here was horrible 1st I was not greeted by anyone that was there once I walked in. Krisy or Kristy helped me, and she was just talking on the phone in her AirPods the entire time like it was very unprofessional!! She lied about not having a phone, I asked for a 13 she tells me there's 0 in stock and tries to send me to a "corporate" store. Save yourself time, security and stress this place is unorganized and unprofessional...the representative there are not trained properly and assisting two people at the same time where the representative assisting me added an unauthorized line and device in my account billed to me the next day. I visited this store about 30 minutes ago with my mother, who is visiting from Japan. I wanted to get her a prepaid phone plan for the month she's here. The lady, Ashley, who helped us at this location, was incredibly rude. When she showed us the plans, I accidentally pressed the $35 plan instead of the $25 plan. When she had to start over, she began cursing and yelling at us, saying things like, "Why the hell did you press the $35 option then?" "My f***ing food is going to be cold now!" "I have to take my f***ing lunch!" and mumbling many more vulgar words at us. She then walked off and passed us on to a different associate who helped us perfectly. I understand that we all need lunch breaks, but my mother and I don't deserve to be cursed out in front of other customers. It made us both very sad and will never cause us to return to this store. This place is great! I recently tried to switch from one big name wireless carrier to another big name wireless carrier, but that didn't work out too well. So I came to this store and was greeted with a friendly attitude. I told them my situation and they said they can set me up with a new service at a cheaper rate. After jumping through a couple hoops because my existing carrier made it difficult to port my number, I left the store as a satisfied customer! I bought an iphone before my 3week vacation and they made me buy a block because they said I can not charge it. I had the last model and owned the same block already. I was unable to return same day and I was unable to return because it's a 2week return policy. Then they said they would not accept my trade-in in store because they printed my shipping label on day 1. The rep specifically said I can go home and transfer my data before I trade in. He even told me to bring it back in. I bring it back and this new guy says well you have the shipping label so we can't take it not. Super upsetting. Not helpful and waste of everyone's time. After purchasing phones from them, we later found that they had added monthly charges for insurance coverage, had added an unauthorized line to our account, and had not given us any credit for an iphone trade-in which they had advertised. All of this was contrary to what we told them we wanted. Upon discovering this, we went back to the store for corrections and were met with hostility and an unwillingness to correct their own errors. We had to contact Tmobile directly to make the corrections to our account, which were entirely errors made by the staff of this location. We went to T Mobile at Alameda Landing last Saturday - to upgrade one iphone, and then transfer 3 phones from Verison to T mobile. Edith is the store manager and was amazingly helpful. Edith walked us through options, kept us in-the-know when our phone numbers were not porting over, and verizon was texting us to stay. it was a multi hour event, and through it all, Edith was incredibly kind, informative and we felt very taken care of. I had to go back today because my phone # still hasnt ported over, ane when i walked in, Edith saw me and said they were trying , right then, on the phone, to get answers from Version on my behalf, since they could see my phone # hadn't ported over. I was having trouble with my S-20 phone. Several times in the last couple weeks I could not make calls or send texts. My phone would show a window that said that I was not connected to a mobile network and asked me to use a Wi-Fi network to make calls. Like everyone else I'm not always near a WiFi network and I don't want to pay for a phone so limited. I couldn't figure out if my settings had changed or what had happened, so I thought I should seek the help of "a professional". Saturday I went to the T-MOBILE store on 5th street. When I walked in there were 3 employees behind the counter talking to a young lady. Either the conversation was not phone related or her problem was so severe that it took a team of 3 people to deal with it. After I stood around a while I got the old "We'll be with you in a minute" treatment, which I took as code for GO AWAY, but I didn't. After a while one of the employees, apparently seeing that I wasn't just going to leave, left the 4 way conversation and asked if I needed help. I told him that sometimes I could make calls and sometimes I couldn't. He took my phone and called the store's number. You know how if you have a new noise in your car and you take it to a mechanic, the noise won't be there for him to hear? Of course, the call to the stores phone went through. He then said, "It's working now", as if he were a surgeon that had just saved some lucky guy's life. Again, I explained that sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. He said, "It's probably because you have an old phone". The S-20 isn't new, but it isn't all that old either. Did he ask me any questions about my phone? No. Did he bother to check my settings? No. It was obvious that I wasn't getting any help at this T-MOBILE store, so I went home and call the T-MOBILE 800 #, which is 800-777-4681. A lady spent 20 minutes asking me questions, testing my phone and giving me directions on settings. In other words, DOING WHAT T-MOBILE IS PAYING HER TO DO. The phone has been good since that call. I can't imagine any problem that would lead me to ever enter that store again. Either there was no manager on duty on Saturday afternoon or, if there was, they don't care about customer service. If you have a problem with your phone, do yourself a favor. Instead of wasting time and gas, call the number. read more

This is THE WORST STORE. The T-Mobile "expert" handed us a tampered iPhone 13 Max Pro. The security seal from the iPhone packaging was BROKEN! - She told us that ALL iPhone 13 Max pros came with the security seal broken! PLEASE look at your box before leaving this store. Something shady is going on. We called customer service and were transferred to 3 people and 3 departments who couldn't help. Finally placed on hold for 45 minutes to where the phone call dropped. We are in the middle of transferring cellphone providers to be with T-Mobile and this is the start of our experience? PFFFFFFTTTTTTT ridiculous. I inquired about a T-Mobile hotspot. . They're great salesmen , but not truthful. The 5G hotspot, does not have unlimited data as they said. It doesn't even work. Down to 18 KILObytes/second. That's right...KILO, not mega. They made it seem as though the hotspot was included with the plan, as I asked how much it cost to determine if I wanted to buy it. Now, I found out it was around $90. And I can't return it. I've been a T mobile customer for years, but this will cause me to switch carriers. Oh, and now I find out that they don't even make a 5G as hotspot. read more
