Terrible service. Nate's only answer for everything "I wouldn't be able to do that." Not helpful at all and argumentative. My wife was having a short code messaging issue which has to be resolved by your carrier, but Nate wanted to argue telling my wife that it wasn't our service, Kohl's (who she was trying short code message) probably blocked her. I wish there was a way to do zero stars. I'll say this much. I went in there earlier to ask about a plan I just signed up for. I was at a separate location which I would get five stars. Marysville next to WinCo go there. This location the pink haired woman was not just unhelpful. She talked down to me. It was 30 minutes before close. And I could tell by the way she was treating me. She didn't want anyone to come in. She didn't want to help me. It came across as nasty the way she was treating me. T-Mobile is a decent company. With good deals. But as for my business I will be taking it elsewhere. I'll definitely be going to the Marysville location. read more

T-Mobile Authorized Retailer - Awesome! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Lake Stevens, Washington

I spent days at this store trying to sort out account issues when buying 4 phones+Magenta Max service. I was told at the time I would be given an "Insider" code on my account that would save me $34 a month. The code was not applied and when I went back after receiving my first bill to ask for help, I was basically told "Oops, sorry. Good luck." The account was initially set up, then was canceled because the lines weren't provisioned correctly by the store, and then I had to follow up with T-Mobile because when the account was canceled to fix the line error, it cause the full value of the BOGO promotion to come due immediately. I have spent 20+ hours at this store trying to get it fixed. I finally had to go to another store and spend hours on the phone with T-Mobile to get it sorted out so that I didn't have to pay for all four phones on the first bill, and I still am not getting the "Insider" discount I was promised. They will lie to your face and tell you your are getting a deal. They have you sign a contract promising your bill will decrease after 1 bill cycle only to have it not. So before i get into this just know that we were on vacation and we were on a little bit of a time limit. So like any good vacation we went to granite falls, well i broke my phone while we were there and decided to go to t-mobile to see how soon i could get a new one. Well we get there this guys helps us out tell us that in order to get a new phone we need to pay off the old phone that broke first ($600), so we did.. then he charged us $128 for the new phone plus the screen protector, and while trying to set up the new phone i need to sign into my apple ID except it sent a variation code to my broken phone. The guy told us that he cant help us past this because its "apples thing" and sent us to apple. Well we get to apple and they tell us that the guy lied and should have been able to help set up my phone and transfer everything, its an iphone 14 with the esim stuff. I mean not gonna lie i dont know much about phone but the guy at t-moble should have told us that apple could replace my phone for $30 the same day, instead we went on this duck hunt. On Christmas Eve. We asked if another store had one and he said he couldn't tell us how many another store has. He was condescending even after he told me he would make me leave lol. Typical beta male that refuses to believe he could be wrong. I'll be writing to corporate because this guy shouldn't be in customer service. I went in as a new customer for the new Xr deal this weekend. The trade in system was down. I was there for 3 hours Friday night and again for 2 hours Saturday morning cause they completed my transaction Friday night and I paid but couldn't get my XR cause they couldn't fix the trade in.. anyways the two gentlemen that helped me: Jamal and AJ were both outstanding!!! Super nice and great customer service. However another sales associate working there had his pants sagging way below his butt (I mean entire butt was out) and his grey underwear were out for everyone to see. Then Saturday morning that same sales associate was then wearing a beanie and the hood on his sweatshirt the entire two hours I was there. The absolute worse service ever. Manager is terrible. Went in with a 2 month old non charging phone. Samuel took my phone to see what was wrong well getting on my fb is not checking the charge. Then popped my simcard out. Of course I got upset. They said earliest was Friday so willing to buy another $220 phone til I get it. Then the manager starts yelling at me as Samuel went back to get my new phone. I asked the manager how I was supposed to use a phone that I can't charge til Friday. He said you no longer can do business here I am calling the cops. I said I can dial 911 he said you just threatened me. Samuel came back with the phone but his manager was on the phone with 911. Then their big buddy starts shoving me toward the door when I replied fine its all on camera. Got my stuff went to my vehicle and waited for police. He heard my side and told me I could leave that he was going in the store. Left and went to Verizon bought a $1500 phone with plan. Pop the sim card holder and someone had taken the card out of my phone in all that. Then she could see where they had jammed stuff in the charge cord area trying to fix it themselves. Phone had about 10 issues with it but now I am buying a broken phone and I would like my sim card back. And saying I threatened him well I was just offering to call. They even harassed my son in law who the account is under. I was made an authorized user 2 and a half years ago and they demanded to call him. Then they never called him back to make me an authorized user. They didn't want to take the broken phone back is all it was. But when their friend laid hands on me not cool at all. For EIGHT months now, I have been having to call T-Mobile 800-Support due to the incorrect set up of my second line and being overcharged. This happened because the manager at the time was rushing through the swap out on a defective iPhone 11 Pro traded at their store. I had been with Straighttalk for years before I decided to join this company and now we wish we never did. After 2 months of confusion on why our phone bill was over 50$ higher on the FIRST bill than we were told it was going to be (this is with the employee calculating everything in front of us) not being able to get into the T Mobile app since the day we started up our plan even after sitting on the phone with T-Mobile numerous times and them saying "okay it should work now" then hanging up. And once again it not working. I don't have the time to sit on hold over and over again to get something that should have never been an issue in the first place fixed. I've been paying and not getting the add ons like Netflix and t mobile Tuesday's. Kinda crappy to tell your new customers they'll be able to take advantage of these things and then it actually not be true. Especially now that I know my bill is staying 50$ higher than I was originally told because according to the rep on the phone (spent another hour of my time) the employee at this Lake Stevens location must have done the math wrong or lied about what I was going to be paying and there's nothing they can do at this point. But even that rep said it is ridiculous that we were not told our bill was going to be higher, and also that its ridiculous we haven't been able to access the app since day 1 (2 months). At least now that issue is fixed. Beware going to this location, especially if you're a new customer. We will be handling the rest of our contract at other locations. read more

T-Mobile overall sucks. The service is terrible. The people that work at the company were surprised at how bad my service was when I had to communicate with them from my house. They offered no real help. They sent out a device that used Wi Fi calling when one of the phones was not Wi Fi calling-capable. So, it sat in our house for years since they gave us no way to send it back. I dreaded calling them because it was an ordeal to explain and 95% of the time when I had finally had enough with the service - NO SERVICE whatsoever. My S.O. had it worse with his phone service. We were paying for a service we could barely use. Lake Stevens T-Mobile - Jihoon is a POS, seriously. At the end of October my phone wouldn't even turn on. Went in and talked to Misty, she told me I'd get a new phone, they would text my significant other, and made it sound like it would be a day or two at most. Also, she told me that I could stop by a battery place in Everett and see if that was the issue. I went in there after work the next day, to check on status - not there. The next day, stopped by again - no phone and told me I didn't have to come in every day. I had no other way of communicating with people, no way to pay bills, etc. I skipped a day and went in again. Jihoon checked my status and finally I'm informed it's backordered. He then gives me this spiel about how I could get a much better phone with no extra charge but he wasn't promising anything. Every single person acted like it was no big deal that I had absolutely no phone and kept telling me that I'd get a text message - HOW?!? I went in a couple of days later, still nothing - Jihoon again and the customer service was terrible. I left feeling like I was pestering them! I checked about the battery a couple of days after this all happened but the CPU was frying the battery so no such luck. After almost two weeks I had a bill that absolutely needed to be paid and I had no way of doing it online. I used my S.O.'s phone but we had to DRIVE DOWN THE BLOCK in order to get service. Another bill was due in a couple of days so I finally went and got a plan through Verizon - I was absolutely DONE!!! I called T-Mobile to get my phone number switched over but the guy put me on hold to talk to his manager instead of answering my questions. [[At this time my S.O. had not switched and might have stayed with them because he didn't want to spend any extra money.]] I ended up hanging up because I had other things to do - no call back even though I left them my number. Went in one last time to the store to cancel my account and lo and behold got Jihoon. He was absolutely condescending. I wanted to settle everything right then and there but had to call. Was charged even though I didn't have a phone, didn't use their service after October 31, 2017 BECAUSE I HAD NO WAY TO DO SO, and was charged the following month, too. My S.O. did end up switching with me and we had to pay the whole cycle even though we quit early on in the cycle. I was with them for 10+ years because I hate dealing with that stuff and they took as much money as they could. I pay less now with Verizon and we're paying the monthly fees for our phones too (our phones with T-Mobile were paid off). So, moral of the story = DO NOT GO TO T-MOBILE (you will be ripped off) and Jihoon is a POS!!! Also, the customer service is beyond terrible. I really don't think they could care less. read more

Bought headphones for $69 and they charged me for full price. Also did a lot of bait and switch while I was there claiming they had a bundle promotion going on where I'd get a credit for the headphones and phone each month. Called T-Mobile and they informed me that I would not be getting a credit for the headphones over time and that in fact I was on an eip plan. I didn't know what an eip plan was and they explained to me that I would be paying for the headphones over 2 years!!! I went into the store to pay off right away. Only then did I find out they charged me full price for the headphones. Do not shop at this location. read more

Unless you're 20something with low expectations for professional customer service, you might want to skip this store. Tried more than once to get service for different issues. First trip, was told "This phone is no good. There's not much I can do to fix it." Second trip, three clerks. No one else in the store. Two busy texting on their phones or playing with the music. The one clerk that helped didn't want to interrupt the other two clerks who were busy talking and texting. While she called customer service, she texted on her personal phone as well. However, if you are looking for a job that allows you to ignore or mistreat customers, and encourages you to spend the day texting, then this is the job for you! read more

I had just gone into this store for some Holiday shopping and the Store Manager Emily dealt with me directly to ensure I had the best experience possible! I had gone in to see the Black Friday promotion the week before and ended up getting a better deal the week before! I got a free Tablet which I'm giving as a gift to someone on my account. I feel like it's common sense to know you might have to still pay for insurance on your device, or taxes. You still have to pay taxes on the lottery. And you still have to pay for car insurance if you win a car. I loved the service I got at this location. read more

I am being forced to pay 200 extra dollars on my t-mobile bill because when I upgrade. The employee helping me at the time never told me one of my current phones wasn't paid off yet and i would be charged for the remainder if i didn't trade it in at the time. Then after them leading me on for a month about getting my bill fixed and wait for follow up calls. it is now too late to trade it in. I will have to pay because of their employees mistake. this is how they treat a loyal customer of 17 years changing carries as soon as i can get out of the contracts they locked me into. read more

My daughter was having a problem with her iPhone 6 where images from previous screens would get burned into the screen. We called the 800 number and they were going to do a warranty exchange and have the replacement sent to the Lake Stevens T-Mobile. Two days later I got a text that it was in so my daughter and I went into the Lake Stevens T-Mobile to do her warranty exchange. We had to wait a little while because both of the customer service agents were busy with other customers. When it was our turn we let them know that we are there for the exchange and we let them know that we had backed up the phone to iTunes. So we did the exchange went home and my daughter tried to put the content back on her phone and it kept saying it was a corrupt file. She was freaking out! So I called T-Mobile back and asked if we brought her laptop and her phone in could they please try to help us... they said sure. So we went back in there luckily there was no customers at the time and three sales associates spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what the issue was and finally got it figured out! They had us wait there until all the information was back on my daughter's phone! We were so impressed with the service. Dylan and Rees were the ones that helped us and then another guy whose name I can't remember helped a little bit as well. We greatly appreciate the extra time that they took to help us with the situation. read more

I have been a Verizon customer for 25 years. When my daughter decided to go back to school I had to cut my monthly expenses down. I went to Verizon to see what they could offer me for 2 lines and there was nothing so I went to TMobil who had advertised 2 lines Unlimited for $35 on their 55+ program. I had a young woman by the name of Alexis ( asst Mgr) help us. She spent about 3 hours with us getting us into a plan I could afford and a new phone for my daughter. I have never had such excellent Customer Service in a phone store... actually any store! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and got us exactly what we needed. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A CELL PHONE PROVIDER... Lake Stevens T-Mobile has caused so much stress on my family that I will never go into this store again. Black Friday deal was that the tablets were FREE, except you had to pay the tax... This was a lie, and all members of the staff at this store lied to everyone in my family because as we got the bill for this today.. we were charged $10 per tablet for insurance, EACH BOTH, plus a monthly charge for the data on these tablet.. NONE of this was told to us, and we would not have bought these tablets if there was a monthly charge. They lied to us when we asked multiple times if there would be monthly charges, and they didn't even ask if we wanted insurance. They charged our account automatically. I have lost trust in T-Mobile and will never use this phone service again. A separate situation that we found out about at the same time was that we bought a new phone, and the deal at the moment was that if you buy a phone you get $200 in FREE accessories, thus we got $200 worth... We found out this morning that these were not free, and we were fully charged. We are not able to return any of this now as it has been longer than 20 days. So frustrated with this store! My son was having problems with his phone so we did a replacement over the phone and then it got shipped to our house. The "new" phone keeps freezing and having error messages. My son can't even use it! So we called T-Mobile and they told us to bring it into our local store in Lake Stevens and that they would swap it out right there for us. I was skeptical but they assured me that that's what would happen. I went into the Lake Stevens location and they told me that they don't carry that phone but they could do a replacement and it would be in the store Monday which is today. So I get a text this morning at 11 saying that it's in. I call at 11:30 to see if I can come in and do the exchange and they tell me that although it's in the store the manager hasn't gotten around to scanning the box yet. So I called back at 2 o'clock was told the same thing and to call back at 4. I called back at 4 o'clock and was told to call back at 7 or maybe I should just wait until tomorrow that would be better for them. I told them I needed the phone today! I don't even feel like picking it up at this point. read more

Had a fantastic experience dealing with this store! Switched back to Tmobile from AT&T. Was fortunate to hook up with Desi, who patiently took us through the process. He guided us through the procedures for getting our phones unlocked (since we weren't purchasing new ones) and offered to unlock them for us once we got the access codes. When I arrived the next morning, codes and phones in hand, I met Ryan who had them unlocked and set up in less than 10 minutes! Made the experience SO easy. read more
