I would give a zero if that was an option. My experience was this, I called on Friday and asked if they had a battery for my motorcycle. It is a common bike so this was fairly straight forward. The man on the phone asked me some clarifying questions and after a minute let me know they had the battery. I let him know I would be in on Saturday morning. I arrived at 10.00 a.m. on Saturday May 19. I was approached by an employee and asked what could he help me with. I responded with the information on my bike. At that time another employee came over and began talking about how many variables existed and he couldn't tell me what battery I needed. He also asked me if I had looked at the battery. I said I had and he walked me down an aisle of batteries and asked me if I saw what it looked like. I said that isn't how I want to identify the proper battery and I will go elsewhere. I did go to the Interstate battery shop off of 128th in S. Everett. I spoke with the employee and he sold me the proper battery which was promptly installed. Pacific Power Batteries appears to have a wide variety of batteries as I can verify since I was shown the aisle of motorcycle batteries and asked to pick the one that matched. No idea of the price of a battery since no one consulted a parts catalog. The man the previous day gave me a price. read more

I got my car battery replaced here a few weeks ago and it was overall an okay experience until the end when I felt like the guy helping me tried to trick me into paying for a full priced battery that I hadn't purchased. Initially the employee came out and checked my battery and said it was old and not functioning very well and my husband and I followed him inside. He said a new battery would be $120 and $15 additional if we had him install it. My husband said he could install it himself but wasn't sure if he had the right tools and the guy said he could use their tools which I thought was very kind and helpful. He then said they had discounted batteries that had minor dings or scratches that were still brand new and had the same warranty but were approximately half the price at about $60 and he found one that would fit my car which we decided to buy and have him install which was very quick and easy, it took less than 10 minutes and he then checked to see that some other stuff on my car was functioning regularly. We were satisfied customers at this point. We then followed him back inside to pay and he rang us up for almost $150 and we both said "Wait, but we got the discounted battery." And he actually argued with us a bit before finally saying "Oh I forgot you got the scratched battery" but wouldn't make eye contact with us and I was positive that he intentionally rang us up for a battery we hadn't even bought, hoping we wouldn't notice, and I don't think we're the first people he's done this to. Then as he acted uncomfortable he handed me the warranty and my husband asked if we needed to do anything to register the warranty or if it's just through the store and he blatantly ignored him and said "you don't need the receipt right?" And I told him "Yes we do need the receipt, you almost always need a receipt for a warranty to be valid." And then he picked up the receipt he'd already thrown away to give to us. I felt like he purposely tried to do deceitful things and stopped being friendly when we wouldn't pay double what we owed. I want to support small businesses and not buy batteries at Walmart but I left feeling like this kid tried to pull one over on us and has likely done the same to others, though he did install the battery quickly (and it's been working well so far) and it was priced low for just having a minor scratch. Hopefully the other employees there don't try and trick customers into paying for products or services they haven't actually bought. read more

Getting around to posting my review from a couple months ago. Ended up stranded in Everett with my car not starting and unsure what was going on, gave PPB a call. Travis was to my location testing my vehicle within 15 minutes and informed me that he believed it was my starter and even helped me try to get it going for a while exhausting our options. Although we weren't able to get it started (due to a bad starter), I took his word and bought a starter to instal myself instead of spending much more at a mechanic and sure enough I was back up and running! My battery on my 91 Miata died and thought i could stop in with my old one at Pacific Power Batteries (PPB) and simply pick up a new one. I guess they dont stock these batteries as i would assume a place like this would. When i asked if they could order one, the guy said something about not knowing how to do it or that the manager had to do it. Wow. So i stopped into Batteries Plus on Everett Mall way, thinking I just have an odd battery and they wouldnt have it either. Well, the guy walked right over to a shelf and had the battery i needed. When i asked if it was an odd battery and told him my experience at PPB, he said nope, its a regular stock battery. Very disappointed in this company... I have purchased everything to maintain, charge, and connect my batteries from this company. To include; new cables connecting to and from the alternator, starter, and to the battery, also including all grounding cables, custom made by them, $500+ just in cabling. $300+ battery + the extended warranty. That being said, they also tested my alternator, no problem there. Then how is it that an manufacturer defective battery that won't hold a charge, can't be exchanged (considering there extended warranty (2 years)+ manufacturer warranty (3 years )) after two years? This is the third battery that I have had issues with over the past 4 out of 5 years (different vehicles ), that have all been tested by the company. To make sure that the vehicles, or the way that the batteries were being maintained were not at falt. All that being said... They have decided not to warranty there product, and replace the defective battery (as I purchased the extended warranty ). Conclusion. I am boycotting this company, and telling every single person in my very extensive collection of wonderful friends & colleagues (military, car community, car club, car enthusiasts, mechanics, salespeople, and business owners)... To buy some place else, where they have the customers interest in mind, not the ole mighty dollar. read more

When we got to the store we were the only people there, about 5-8 minutes later a couple other people showed up. All we needed were two stretches of cable made, 5 minutes the guy said. It has now been 30 minutes and waiting. Our hands are tied because nobody else carries this size cable. A bit over priced for what we wanted but like I said our hands were tied. read more

Walked in about 4:30 PM on November, 10, 2017 door dings but nobody is around in the store. My roommate and I call out "hello" "hello" and nothing. Where are your employees? I hear laughing in the back room but see nobody again we yell "hello" We start looking at phone batteries when another customer comes in, still no employee anywhere to be seen. Five minutes later the store phone rings and here comes the employee coming out of the back room where he was laughing with who not my business and you sure as hell didn't have mine after having us wait on an employee that's supposedly "by himself" yet laughing in the back room. Worst service i have ever had. Matter a fact no service was even provided! I will never come back here for my service and i will continue to go to batteries bulbs plus where they were 1)at the counter 2)polite 3)extremely helpful! Batteries bulbs plus even gave me 5 bucks off my purchase with a lifetime warranty on my phone battery. If i didn't have such shitty service i would have never found Batteries plus. I bought 2 batteries in June 2015 use them for 6 months took them out of my trailer in October stored in my garage put them back in in May charged them up they seemed good but they were both bad. Pacific power did nothing but said they were bad and would not replace them they said there was no water in one of the batteries. I have had several batteries from interstate batteries and have never had a problem with batteries in less than a year. I am going back to interstate batteries and will never buy a battery from pacific power again. read more

Called about 2-3 hours ago to schedule for my car battery to be replaced. I talked to a guy and he said my price would be $109 and some change *I can't remember the change* I specifically asked him would that price include taking out my battery and replacing it with a brand new battery as well as a 2 year warranty. He said yes. I told him perfect my mom will go there with my car, being that I'm still at work. When my mother arrived there the lady seemed to be in a rush. She said she couldn't change my car battery because she would have to remove some parts out the way in order to change the battery. Then the guy that was working there stated the cost of the new battery is $109 and change plus $15 for the labor. But wait...I specifically asked him how much would it be to replace my battery. The lady working there proceeded to say if she removes the parts in order to replace the battery it will take over an hour and she would have to charge an $100 and up for every hour and they're about to close. But wait, I thought she said she couldn't do it . So no I personally wouldn't recommend it, customer service is always your #1 priority when you have a business. I had to fight to get another battery after only 2 months of being in my car, wouldn't hold a charge, after receiving a new one to replace it the snot nose kid goes you only get one replacement..
