I have been with T-Mobile for a while, and while the service is great, this store is much less than stellar. I wanted to take advantage of a promotion they were offering, whereby I could trade-in an old phone (specified) in good condition for credit on a new 5G phone. I arrived at the store and walked in (no line outside). The only rep. working had finished up his business with a customer and was chatting back and forth about motorcycles. This went on for about five minutes, with me waiting patiently for my turn. When it was my turn to be helped, I noticed that a long line outside (Covid distancing) was forming. After relating my reason for being there, the rep. went to the back office to get the new phone. When the door opened, I could distinctly hear three different voices in the office talking about personal business. These employees and/or managers never came out in the time I was at the store to assist with the long line. During set up of the new phone, the rep. informed me of two things. The first was that he would be unable to finish set up of my new device because their WiFi system was down. He then quickly explained how I could do it myself when I find a HotSpot. The second was that against normal procedures of them taking the old phone, I was to download some forms and an address label to mail it in for credit. Therefore, I left the store with two non-functioning phones, and had to take time to finish set up after finding a HotSpot. To make matters worse, I spent a long time talking with T-Mobile customer service to facilitate mailing of the phone. If you want good service, go to either the Van Nuys store on Victory and Van Nuys, or the flagship store in Santa Monica on the 3rd. Street Promenade. read more

Came in for a simple phone transfer (old files to new phone). Store Manager Rodolfo helped me out and took shortcuts like downloading an app rather than communicating to us that phone would need a few mins to charge in prder to reach 20% to use smart switch. My visit resulted in over an HOUR AND A HALF wait for a simple task that usually takes a few minutes when I've had the same request at other T-Mobile locations. I visited this T-Mobile store in Reseda to buy another phone. I was greeted by Henry who was very helpful. He helped me select a phone, accessories, and explained various T-Mobile services without being pushy. Cristina was another helpful associate. She was amazing! Not only did she set up my new phone, she applied a screen protector and signed me up for a program that reduces my monthly bill. Thanks! All the associates were friendly. After talking to current expensive cell provider (V......) and not agreeing with their services. I walked into T-Mobile store and was greeted by Carlos. I explained/complained about my situation and he listened carefully and was awesome. He took care of everything in 20 minutes and now I pay $120 flat for 2 lines unlimited everything, including data and free Netflix. I just had to pay the $25 plus tax activation fee for each lines. He showed me how to change SIM cards because I didn't have the other phone with me. If anyone is with any other company than T-Mobile, you should go see Carlos. read more

Really slow service, really slow act of work. I went there on June 10 2.25pm. I waited for 1 hour 10 minutes to get served. There were 5 sales people at the shop, however 3 of them were on lunch break... Other 2 were busy with 2 customers only, for over 1,5 hours. Is it immigration office? Is it a car dealer? I honestly feel so bad for the customers who came into this branch without Carlos being on the clock. My SO, sis-in-law & myself went into the store with the intentions of purchasing a new phone for only one of us, but then Carlos professionally approached us and was able to assist us in a patient matter. All 3 of us ended buying a new phone! Even though, he was almost off the clock, he took his time in helping us and made sure everything was done correctly. He answered all of our questions & made sure we were happy with our service & purchase altogether. He also made it very clear that if there were ANY problems, we can go back and he would take care of us. Carlos was very professional, welcoming and patient with us. This new location has been open for a couple months now. Very convenient location with plenty of parking. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Erick and Jackie are amazing and always take care of me when I come in. I never have to wait long to be helped and they are always up to date with all the promotions and "T-mobile Tuesdays" offers. Went in to purchase 2 lg g7s and was told it was going to take 10 minutes to get the phones. So I waited and the rep told me it was going to take another 10 minutes to get the 2nd phone. Keep in mind this is just to get it from the stock room, not to set it up or get the paperwork taken care of. Never had to wait 20 minutes for a rep to retrieve 2 phones from a stockroom. As he was looking up my phone number and account I guess he noticed how much I am paying for my service. I honestly don't know where to start. I have been a T-Mobile customer for almost 15 years now. Yes, along the way we have had many hurdles, but nothing ever to make me feel the need to share! My phone has been saying invalid sim off and one for 2 months. I had been sent SIM cards to end up again, invalid sim. Today, my phone completely stopped working all together. I was in an unfamiliar area and had no phone. After borrowing a phone and Over and hour on hold, I was told I needed to go into the store. I came here and stood outside for 1 hour and 5 min. I understand, Covid! When the guy came out upon my arrival and I told him my issue. He never once said it's getting close to closing and that may be an issue. I finally get it and KEVIN assisted me. He didn't "assist" me which is ironic, but anyhow. Tell him what's going on and zero help and just said you need a new phone. Umm, ok. I really need my phone for work, so what's my choice. ZERO understanding. Then he tells me you can get an 11. We have 3 colors. Ok, fine. What's my choice. Few minutes later, we don't have an 11's and maybe no 12's either (last thing I wanted to do is buy a more expensive phone then necessary " he found a 12. Charged me and pretty much THAT WAS IT! I have never even seen a 12. I had a 7. How about maybe show me how to use the phone? Nope I asked questions and he was annoyed as they were now closing in 30 min. He said. Can't help. You will have to come back tomorrow or go to Apple to transfer old phone to new phone. I was in the store TOPS 10 min I walked away with a phone I didn't want. He said it's my only option and a phone that wasn't set up at all and can't use it. He was rude, beyond rude and definitely didn't care to help me ONE BIT! Seriously, couldn't take 5 min or less to HELP me?! Unbelievable!! I still don't have a workin phone! Zero care for the 10 people still outside. How about tell them we are closing soon!! One star is far more generous than I would like to be. I went in to this store about a month ago, waited for over 30 minutes without anyone attempting to help me (I was the only customer not already being helped in the store) before I finally gave up and left. I went back there tonight (it is the closest store to my apartment) to try and get some information about fixing my cracked screen with my protection plan. This is by far the most disorganized store I have ever seen. There is no check in system, the employees didn't welcome us (myself, my wife and daughter) to the store, it was pretty much a free for all. There were 4 employees helping customers and 1 employee training a group of trainees. During the hour that we waited, the only time any employee said anything to us was when we believed we were next to be helped only to be cut off by a woman running across the store insisting she was next in line. The employee responded by saying "okay, I'll help you then" and proceeding to help her. How does the employee know that she was next with no list or check in system? She just flat out took her word and ignored us. This was about 30 minutes into our wait. About 15 minutes later a man walked in who was greeted by two employees. An employee emerged from the back and asked if anyone needed a phone from the cage. When the other customer service employees answered no, he walked up to the guy who came in after us and started helping him. My wife informed him we were there well before him and we're still waiting to be helped. The employee walked to the back and came out with a phone and asked the man to come to the counter so he could help him. Mind you, during this entire time, all 4 employees were still helping the SAME customers as when we walked in!!! How is this possible? Between the disorganized system of tracking customers as they come in, the painfully slow customer service representatives, rude customer service representatives and complete and utter lack of any "customer service", I highly recommend you go to another store for service. Oh, and when I tried to call the contact number for the franchise owners, no one is available to answer the call and the mailbox is full. Go figure. Save your time and sanity people, just stay away from this store. read more
