On Thursday, March 12 at 11 AM we attempted to upgrade both of our phones only to find that the store was not open. I called the store thinking perhaps the manager was in the back and had locked the door for security reasons. However no one answered the phone as well instead, we will be going to a location that we know and trust. read more

7/29/2025 @5:15PM Went in see what deals are offered and was met by a very low energy salesman who did not represent himself professionally at all. Asked about promotions for iPhone and he tried to get me open a new line twice, all while hovering over his iPad while rapping and singing rather than being a professional while at work. He then got annoyed with me because I told him I was gonna leave and think about it. No joke.. he said "what is there to think about you drove all the way over here" please.. I was at Best Buy. I would never drive anywhere to see these degenerates. No wonder he works at a T-Mobile. He should be fired for poor performance, but this seems to be the culture of T-Mobile lately. read more

The incompetence, poor training, and overall lack of concern for customers' legitimate needs is astounding. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 22 years. A couple of days ago, I dropped my phone, and it does not work. The clerk told me I needed to report it through the app. How do I do that? Through a working T-Mobile phone. I do not have one. She did not know what to tell me. I called 611, waiting about an hour on hold, got a woman who gave me an ID, and she said if I visited Wal Mart, I would get a free phone, as a loyalty thing. I went to Wal Mart, they needed information only T-Mobile could provide, my account number, and a password reset for the app (since the account is so "old" she said, it might never have been set up for that). There were two different clerks. One gave me my account number, but they both said they have been on somethings, but resetting passwords was not one of them. One said that not all T-Mobile stores are equally equipped to handle customers' needs. He said I needed to go to another store. I did! I drove straight to one of their competitors, and I working out new account and transfer arrangements now. The worst part about T-Mobile's incompetentce, poor training, and lack of concern is that the cell phone number is my only phone number. I am partially disabled and live alone. Without a working phone, I am unable to call anyone for help if I should need it. The competitor, on the first visit, and in the space of 30 minutes, had me a new phone and a new phone number, and I can at least call out for help if I need any. read more

They all use the same towers these days, so the difference in in customer service, billing, and morality of the company. T Mobile fails on all three. I have witched to consumer cellular and saving $25 a month and back to cox for internet, hardwired, and saving $25 plus a month and getting much better faster internet. Walked in to get an upgrade for my phone and all 3 employees were busy working. One guy asked what we need and we told him we need to upgrade and which phone we wanted and he said to stand there and wait for him to finish. Waited 40 minutes with no update or word of how much longer it will be to upgrade my phone. Finally asked the employee and he shrugged and said maybe another 40 minutes to an hour and walked away... I understand there were people in front of us but I believe they could have been more courteous and communicated how long it will be. They don't seem to care about people walking in if they are already helping someone. read more

Went to a different store and got such a better experience than this store. Guy didn't want to help in any way while when I went into a new store the lady in there was awesome. Went in 10/14/2023 at 4 pm. Two young men standing leaning behind the counter. Two more guys sitting down on customers chairs behind me just sitting the with blank faces. The young man who didn't help me took a picture front and back of my Drivers Licence on his tablet. What a creep! IDK what that was about. I have a sinking feeling that he is selling personal information. I am an existing T-mobile customer and needed help with some settings on my phone or maybe a new SIM card. Got NO HELP. He didn't even try anything except to sell me a really old phone for over $300. Waste of time and HUGE invasion of privacy. I'd like a copy of of his personal identification. Most likely switching if this is the new standard for T-Mobile stores. Alienate existing customers. WOW! read more

Walked in and the girl was literally sitting on the counter doing nothing but talking to her coworker. We needed to set up our new phone. They hadn't even booted up their system so we waited there for ten minutes while they tried to boot up. Mind this was at 330pm so they had been open already for more than five hours. My wife lost her patience so we just left because. There was no customers in there at all when we walked in so it's super annoying that because they were too lazy to properly set up for customers to walk in we had to completely waste our time going there. I went to the T-Mobile store on Scottsdale rd and Shea at the end of December we got 2 new phones and internet 25.00 a month we were told our monthly charge would be 98.00 a month. We have been billed 128.00 a month I have called and talked to them over and over Each month I have a load of text chats confirming a lower rate. They are helpful to me. Although it does seem like they are under staffed because I see a lot of people waiting. Got my lines activated and my promotions done in decent amount of time. I just had to wait a long time for the data to transfer between new phones. For me, no issues. However, I had to spent a long time in there waiting for data transfer and I saw a lot of disgruntled customers. Lots of red tape, gripes and things that I would also be frustrated if I were those customers. Go in at your own risk if you have a complicated issue. read more

The person there was very knowledgeable and helpful. He patiently answered all my mom's questions and helped us get signed up. I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and ordered two new iPhones on the afternoon of Nov 7th 2020.  While waiting on the new phones (which weren't released until Nov 13th) I got T-Mobile sim cards for my existing phones (an iPhone XS max & an iPhone 8) - Unfortunately I couldn't get a signal in places I previously had no issues with on either phone with AT&T's service (this was in Scottsdale AZ, not out in the boonies).  On one occasion I couldn't even get a signal while standing outside on a clear day within sight of a T-Mobile store that was maybe 500 yards away. Their cellular network was so bad that I canceled my service the very next day. After canceling I was told that the new phone order would be automatically canceled but it wasn't. To complicate things the package was delivered to one of my neighbors (not T-Mobile's fault). Long story short, T-Mobile billed me for over $2,714 on the phones which I eventually got resolved once my neighbor realized and dropped off the phones to me and I returned them. To compound the insult of their horrible network and all the wasted time tracking down and dropping off the new phones, I'd already paid an "activation fee" of $61.61, paid for one day of service $7.06, and then was also charged $107.49 for some unknown fee. In summary they promised me a great network, didn't deliver on their promises and then charged me more to cancel their horrible service. I really wanted this to work out, their staff was always very nice and friendly. I paid the price in both wasted time (many hours) and money for their horrible network and bad business practices - I paid $176.16 because they couldn't provide me with the service that they promised. Be afraid of this store, they are scam artists and will even go so low as to prey on your small children. Worse than a used car dealership. I was swindled into a "free" tablet scam by one of their salesman who asked my 4 and 6 year olds if mommy should get them new tablets for Christmas!?!? I went to store to simply activate my new phone and told I could get two free Samsung tablets and two free lines because I'm a loyal customer. I asked them very carefully if I have to pay anything for the tablets because I already pay a lot monthly. No, of course not! It's totally free no monthly service or finance charges. LIE. Try $450 in financing and $24 per line in data. Trying to reverse the damage done by these idiots cost me 2+ hours on the phone with T-Mobile and $50 in unreturnable SIM cards. I wish I could give them no stars! The online and phone reps at are always fantastic. The opposite is true for this retail store. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Walked in tonight to get an XR. I was asked no less than THREE times if I wanted to finance, and then again when I went to pay, the rep said my total was just the financed amount. I told him no, it needs to be just the price of the phone +tax. Then all the sudden I was being charged close to $900 for a $750 phone and turns out I was also being charged for a case and a screen protector... but wait, only for the financed amount of $80. I told him... wait a second, I asked for just the phone and expected to pay $750+tax. And I wanted to pay straight up NOT financed. Then when it was just the phone it was still more than I expected because of a "service help charge". What help?! I asked him if he could get that taken off since I could just go to the Apple store and buy it no service charge and they would take care of all of it. Not make me feel like I was a burden for buying a phone at 6:45pm. Thankfully the manager who was chilling in the back room approved waiving the charge. "Oh hang on I have to start all over again." (3rd times the charm?) "Well we are only about 1 hour and 15 minutes from closing and earlier today it took 3 hours to move someone's phone over to the new phone so you can just do it at home later" "Do you want me to show you how to do it? It's pretty easy" "you can just come in tomorrow" "I gave you a receipt right?" (No you didn't, until I asked) He had no spirit of service. I felt that for spending $750 outright he might give me better service and listen to what I'm saying. Not try to pull a fast one on me. Won't be coming back to this T-Mobile. EDIT: even more happened after I left T-Mobile. Jesus (I think that was his name) added on a $7/mo service onto my phone bill that I never asked for nor was consulted for. My brother an I came to this T-Mobile to upgrade his phone. My brother has been using our dads old phone ever since he passed away. We explained this to the young Lady Jordan who helped us. We told her that the phone was our dads and we were looking to upgrade my brothers phone so he can get a new one and we can keep our dads old phone at the same time. Jordan informs us that we can upgrade his phone FOR NO CHARGE AT ALL. I asked if I could use the "jump" on my line also so we both could get no phones and again she tells me I can also get a new phone FOR NO CHARGE AT ALL. My brother and I start getting excited about our new phones as Jordan went through the steps to do this for us. HOWEVER, Jordan was not at all happy. Not once second since the moment we walked into that T-Mobile was she ever happy to help us. Instead, it felt like we were bothering her in her work place. It seemed like Jordan was utterly hating her job. We would ask her questions and she would answer with such attitude it was ridiculous. The kind of attitude that your mom back handed you for. So it's definitely not customer friendly. Jordan was not customer friendly. She needs a sign around her neck that says "CAUTION: I am not customer friendly!" My brother and I ignored her ugly attitude and started asking the other VERY FRIENDLY gentlemen that was there questions. I believe his name was Jesus. He was awesome. Very nice to my brother and I, he answered all of our dumb questions and was happy to do so, unlike 'Too good for us Jordan'. At the very end of everything, AFTER Jordan went through all the steps necessary to hand us our new phones, she tells us it's going to be 120$ because of tax.... It made sense that we would have to pay tax and I guess you can say my brother and I should of known better? BUT WHY DIDNT JORDAN TELL US THIS BEFORE? We had explained to her MULTIPLE times that we had no money on us at the moment. So when I asked her "why didn't you tell us this in the beginning, we would of ran home and got cash" she replied "well I'm telling you now!" And that was the moment we just walked out. I would of ran home and grabbed the money and would of done it happily if it meant I got my new phone but honestly I didn't want to come back and give the sale to little miss Jordan because frankly, she treated my brother and I like garbage. Especially after we told her our dad had just passed away, you would think she could of been more empathetic and at least gave us some kindness. Thanks Jordan at T-Mobile on Northsight. I had a dead I phone 6--the young man tried to help and suggested I go to Apple store--they had a 2.5 hour wait on a Friday nite--I was pretty sure phone was dead (it got wet) so went back on Saturday morning to get a new phone. There were 3 young men working there and each one of them was so helpful and professional. I believe one was named Christian and he even helped me pair the phone to my car as I was having troubles with doing this. While I parted with some $$$ they made the experience pleasant. read more

This is the second time I've given this location a chance & now I know why I left here pissed the first time. They refused to take my current phone for a trade in (even though I own it) & stated that they didn't want to waste my time by taking it when it's worth nothing (it's an iPhone 6+). So I went to another location where they took my phone and gave me a new one. This location is clearly not hurting for sales and maybe the management should pick better staff members. Not really a review for the store but T-Mobile in general. I switched from Verizon after 16 years (stupid expensive). T-Mobile had a great deal on a Unlimited 55 plan, 2 phones. Unfortunately service sucks. Can I say that? I live in Scottsdale and can't even get internet or phone service when I'm in parts of Fashion Center Mall. Other parts of the Valley just can't get service at all. Verizon was never a problem getting service. Switching back ASAP. read more

Then there is Tommy who's a wonderful well-versed salesperson, Daniel who has been there for quite a while and always treats me like gold, as well as all the other people they always make you feel good and are super helpful. Last December, these guys lied to me. They changed my plan without my permission from Jump to Jump On Demand, and they leased me an accessory they told me I was going to get for free. They also told me I wouldn't need to do anything additional to get a promotional package worth over $200 for purchasing my phone. All they do is lie. Tmobile needs to take away their rights to call themselves Tmobile, and revoke their franchise agreement. I am so disgusted. I just keep discovering more of their dirty deeds. Order your phone directly from Tmobile only. Always ask if they are a direct Tmobile location. Don't make the mistake that I did. read more

After losing my phone on the freeway (left on roof of car), I immediately drove to T-Mobile...The store had been closed for 15 minutes, but seeing an employee still in the shop I decided to knock on the door...Not only was I let in after closing, I walked out with a free phone (special warranty promotion), and complete instructions on how to get back up and running...I cannot stress enough the importance of this incredible customer service by this store...My next phone upgrade will definitely be from this T-Mobile...Special thanks to Christian for his tremendous help!!! 1 read more

Totally burned by this store Over the last few months, my wife and I discovered we had been burned by this store several times. Let me explain. About three years ago, I purchased a Samsung S4 and my wife bought the Samsung Note 2 at the Northsight store. About 18 months after buying my Samsung S4, it started having problems. I was plagued by messages that claimed the sim card wasn't installed, then the phone would either reboot or not connect to the cellular network. I took the phone into the T-Mobile store on Northsight, and they replaced the sim card. That didn't solve the problem, so I brought it back. The store manager at the time checked my account and said: 1. The phone was past warranty. 2. At first he said I had insurance on the phone, but I told him that I had declined it. (If you have ever looked at your T-Mobile bill, you have to know the code name of the insurance plan to determine if you are covered or not.) 3. The manager checked the account again and said, oh yeah, you don't have insurance. (Presumably, he didn't want to deal with the fact that I had been tricked.) 4. The manager then said he couldn't fix my phone but he would give me $100 in exchange for a new one. I turned down the offer, and resumed trying to find a solution on the web and by visiting a repair store. Those efforts failed, so I continued to struggle with my phone. I was able to use it by rebooting the S4 from 5-25 times a day, but it dropped calls, lost data, and completely sucked. I didn't want to spend anything on a new phone at the time, and lived with it for another 18 months when I suspected my S4 was going to die for good, and decided to buy a Note 4 from T-Mobile's website. I filled out the web form and declined insurance. I noticed that my monthly bill was going to be lower. Figuring that the lower monthly fee seemed highly unlikely, I called up T-Mobile to ask them if I had changed something in my account. Their response? I had insurance on the old S4. I was shocked, since the T-Mobile store manager told me 18 months earlier that I did not have insurance. T-Mobile directed me to another phone number where I was told that I would get a new S4 in a matter of days. The new phone came a day earlier than predicted, so I was happy about that. But I was furious that I spent 18 months keeping the old phone alive when I could have been sent a new one right away. I told that to the T-Mobile representative, and asked for at least an apology from this store on Northsight Blvd. The store has had a couple months to get me that apology, but so far nothing. At the same time my S4 starting rebooting uncontrollably, I asked the store manager to look at my wife's Note 2. Her phone kept displaying a Factory Mode screen on all of the navigational screens. The manager told me that the phone had been "rooted." My wife and kids are not at a level where they could root a phone, and for those who are not technical: rooting a phone is akin to pulling the engine out of a car to work on the piston rings. We had thought maybe our son had downloaded questionable software, but unfortunately - and unfairly - we blamed him for the problem. We took the Note 2 to several places to be looked at, and no one had a clue what was going on. Finally, after I lost weeks doing research and trying different fixes, I discovered a setting had been changed at the root level. So, I spent hours and hours learning how to root the phone and fix the problem myself. At some point during the process of trying to fix my wife's Note 2, we were shocked to discover that the phone, which we thought to be brand new when we bought it, was actually a refurbished model. At no point, during the purchase process at the Northsight store were we told that we were getting a refurbished model. We said we wanted a new one and until recently, thought we had purchased a brand new phone. Today, we brought the Note 2 into a trusted repair place to get a damaged crystal repaired. The technician told us the phone would not be worth fixing because it was refurbished, making it nearly impossible to replace the damaged crystal. So now we have to think about getting a new phone for my wife, even though a quick replacement of the crystal would have normally worked fine. I've never really quite had an experience like this with a vendor. I understand that some T-Mobile stores are independently owned while other are run by T-Mobile. Our repair technician said that he gets nothing but complaints about the two or three independently-owned stores in our area. He suggested from here on out, we only deal with the factory store, which is a 20+ minute commute from our house. read more

As all the other 1 star reviews prove, this is not a store you want to go to. Horrible horrible service. My interaction with them started when I entered the store and simply asked them what I need to bring should my wife and I want to switch to this specific plan they offered. The manager told me just to bring info from my current cell phone provider so they could port the number. I asked about credit checks, and was told by the manager there was none for this plan. This was important to me because my credit reports were locked for safety reasons and wouldn't be available to T-Mobile unless I unlocked them. Great, I thought, one less thing to do. So several days later my wife and I return to the store with current cell phone provider info in-hand. They start putting all our information into their computer, and then a problem. The manager call T-Mobile headquarters, and we find out it looks like its a problem because mu credit report is locked. Hmmm.. The manager to me flat-out no credit report is required. Apparently the guy doesn't even understand the process at his own store. So they tell me I can give them the credit report PIN to unlock the report and then we can move on. We drive home to get this PIN, and return. We live in N. Scottsdale, so its almost a 40 mile drive round-trip, since there aren't any T-Mobile stores nearby. We return with the PIN, then repeat all our past experiences, entering all this info in which takes at least 10 minutes each time. We get to the credit report part, again, the manager calls T-Mobile, we give them the PIN, and NOPE. Apparently the PIN lets me unlock my credit report, but doesn't let T-Mobile do it. O.K. so the manager calls the credit report company directly. O.K. I'm put on the phone with them and I spend the next 30 minutes going through the procedure to unblock my credit history for a say. This procedure also costs $5. I ask them if the credit report will be unlocked instantly and they say yes. So now its back to T-Mobile and I'm put on the phone with them. I get the same woman again who clearly is in India and is extremely hard to understand. She checks the credit report, then says nope. Oh, by the way she mentions, its takes 72 hours after the credit report is unlocked for them to see it. We'll THANKS FOR TELLING ME THAT NOW!!! So we leave without new service, after experiencing the most incompetence I think we have ever witnessed. NEVER EVER GO THERE!! The manager didn't apologize to use once for initially telling us no credit report was required when one obviously was. read more

Ashley was amazing and helpful. Alex, at the Costco kiosk was horrid! He sold my husband an iPhone, then changed the password on our email account and gave my husband a new iCloud account!!!! Ashley was able to help us get my phone switched to T-Mobile, which Alex couldn't do. But I had to work through Apple Support to get my husband's phone back to our iCloud account. WHY WOULD ALEX CHANGE THE iCLOUD ACCOUNT???? As a result of that action none of the information from the old phone would transfer to the new phone. Bad and stupid move, Alex.... Go to corporate stores. If you have to go to this place please review your receipt carefully before you leave the store. I purchased two phones here and received one clear case, one wallet case and a screen protector that I assumed they were free since the rep did not chose the items brought to us without telling the prices. A month later I found out I was charged $138.92 for the items on installment that I would not pay any more than $20. I filed a complaints with T mobile. T mobile is excellent in service with dependable network coverage. This store is a shame to T mobile. read more
