Went in to get help with replacing my daughter's iPad after AT&T's insurance provider shipped us the wrong replacement device and then gave us the runaround. Derek was helpful as always and Colin gave great customer service making it really fast an easy to get the right device shipped to our house in a couple of days. This AT&T store employees are unprofessional and tell customers misinformation. The employee on Friday sold me and ordered the wrong phone. I came in on Monday for him to figure that out when I arrived. He told me to come back on tomorrow Tuesday (New Year's Eve) because his manager has to help me. I came in and the manager was not there. I had to take the phone to another store to get helped. Numerous employees gave me misinformation and wasted more of my time. read more

This IS NOT a corporate store it is an authorized retailer even though there is no mention of this anywhere on the building. Had a terrible experience there on 7/3/2024. Called to see if they had a ATT screen saver in stock. Was put on a brief hold and was told they did not but if I came into the store, they would order one. Did not understand why I needed to come in, but stopped by an hour or so later and there was sign on the door that said they were at lunch and would be back in 30 minutes. It did not say when they left or when they would be back? :) Came back a few hours later and was told that I would have to order a screen saver on line? I told the young woman what I was told on the phone earlier and she said that I was given bad information. I asked to speak to her manager and she refused. She refused to give me her name or her manager's name and when I left she told me to never come back. Picture is of her when I was leaving I went to another store nearby which had one in stock. The Manager there told me that this store was a not a corporate store. Why doesn't ATT require signage disclosing this? In old Google images, it does say authorized retailer. read more

Terrible customer service at this AT&T location. I arrived at 4 PM, only for an employee with vitiligo on his face to lock the door, claiming the store was closed because he was going on lunch--completely unprofessional. On top of that, AT&T keeps charging me even after I canceled my service. When I contacted customer support, they told me to visit the store in person, but this employee refused to assist and gave me incorrect information. First, he lied about the store being closed. Second, he misled me about my account issue. Extremely frustrating experience--AT&T needs to do better. read more

I've seen some pretty bad reviews on this store, so it almost prevented me from coming and taking an extra 4 miles out of the way. My gf and I are so glad we didn't listen to the bad reviews. We came in on July 15th, around 4 pm. There were only a few customers before us, but we were taken care of by Paige, no more than 10 min. She honestly was such a great help, gave great tips, answered every question we had, and then some. She really made us feel comfortable and got us in and out with everything done PERFECTLY! She was very easy to talk to, and really made us feel like we were talking to a friend. My GF had to get a newer phone, and urn on or charge. She gave us the best option on her plan and was able to recover everything on the phone. I don't know about the other employees, but Paige gave TOP TIER SERVICE! Thank you so much for the hospitality. Give that girl a promotion or a raise, or keys to the store, lol! We will return to that store if we need help, soley because of her. He made sure he gave us the best deals and was very funny. This location was very organized and clean. I am in shock that this area only has 2.5 stars. I had a problem with making calls to my dad's cell phone (both have AT&T service) that neither the AT&T technical support nor customer service reps at other stores could fix. Then I was directed to see Carlos at this AT&T store location and he fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Even though I was edgy and exhausted from dealing with this problem, Carlos was professional, confident and even made us laugh. Could not be more useless. Bought 4 here 3 months ago. Last week ATT cancelled the line because the store did not properly complete the number change. Now the phone is a $1200 paper weigh and they refuse to solve. I have spent 12 hours with ATT and Verizon service to get no where because of their error. Tried to bring iPhone 7 in to get $300 credit towards new iPhone screen minor scratch in corner would not take. Had morphia charging case bought for $89 is not charging after 17 days. Store warranty 14 days Mel the Mgr called his boss to see if could approve exchange and boss said no. They made me go through warranty and I had to pay another $9 in shipping? 1.5 hours wasted. Come to find out this location is a dealer store not a corporate store. Dealers could care less about customer service. Buyer beware. By the way name of dealer is Prime Communication. This store will never rise above a 2.5 or 3. My sales person was very nice, however, somewhat distracted by the recorded football game playing on the TV. I left the store without knowing how to really use the $1000 phone I just purchased. He left it up to me to ask questions about features I didn't know existed. Thank God, they don't do that when you buy a new car. Can't blame it on being busy as I was the only one in the store. I should have purchased it at the Bay Street Market store in Emeryville, CA. I been to same store many time before... had good experience but new hire may be kid out of college or high school , Rudely welcomed me and made fun of my name asked me to enter my name in his PC. Told me to get out at the end when he thought what his manger did at the store day before was illegal & not possible and told me on my face that I am lying.I asked to go and check camera or call Manager he didnt believe me argued about everything what I had to say........and when i left after the drama and argument ,I forgot the key inside the store that retarded kid over there locked the door of store and didn't allow me to enter to even take my key.I felt I was racially discriminated and bullied. Bought a phone at the AT&T Sonoma Village Scottsdale. Wasn't busy but was told after I purchased I have to go to the Apple Store to transfer Icloud from my old phone. Apple helped me and said it was lazy that they didn't do that at AT&T. Then my phone was not holding WiFi. I called AT&T and went to the Apple Store again. In the meantime was called by a manager at AT&T to tell me the sale was not done correctly. I told her about all the extra GB that I was running from new phone and could not get anyone to fix the problem. She advised if I upgraded to a 9GB plan it would absorb the extra charges. She assured me if they still charged me to call her. I finally after about 3 weeks got my phone fixed but noticed an excessive bill. I sent a note to the manager and she then informed me to call AT&T. I again called AT&T and they said there is nothing they can do and I am now stuck with a plan I don't need and they would not give me a credit on overage or switch my plan back. I will pay off the phones and switch to another carrier. The whole thing was a nightmare and customer service is horrible. They were all polite but not helpful in any way. I had a great experience at this store today. I ordered a new phone here a week ago and when it came in, I took it in to get the protective screen put on. So happy I didn't do it myself. Two of the employees worked with my phone and screen protector to make sure it was placed absolutely perfectly with no bubbles! Both times I was in this store everyone was patient and helpful. Well, let me tell you, I wasn't happy going into this store because the replacement iPhone which ASURION sent me worked for half a day and then died. So I was without a phone to do a road trip from San Francisco to Phoenix. (Ya, no maps, no ability to call road service or 911 if needed for 2 days!) My unhappiness had nothing to do with the personnel at this shop. But I was frustrated that AT&T (who handles the warranty on these phones) had sent out this useless piece of metal to replace another iPhone that stopped working. BUT....the guys at this shop (Enrique & ??) were so customer service oriented that I couldn't be angry with them. They dialed Asurion for me on their phone (because I have no working phone) so that I could straighten things out with them. Then they referred me to a great repair shop nearby (doing a review for them too!) for a broken screen on my daughter's phone (rendering it unable to use too.) Since I was new in town, they also told me a little bit about the area and about a food truck festival happening this coming weekend. These gentlemen could serve as ambassadors for Phoenix - they were first-class all the way with their customer service and professionalism. I wanted to be an irate, angry, menopausal woman. But they made me be the pleasant lady that I can be and enjoy the rest of the day. If you ever need to go to an AT&T retail store - you can't go wrong by coming to this one in Scottsdale. read more
