Gerald was informative and easy to talk to, and he really took his time breaking everything down so I felt comfortable. Also, the manager had real patience because I had questions, needed clarification, and definitely had a mini breakdown (don't judge me, lol). Not once did I feel rushed or pressured, which I appreciated because when I had issues with my apps after the upgrade, the manager stepped in and helped me get everything sorted out. THANK YOU! I'm all about people welcoming their customers when one walks into the store, but instead I got stared at. Yes I understand you're busy but you had the time to look at me but no words to say hello. They couldn't even keep track of who came in when. I've been to many T-Mobile stores but this was maybe the worst experience so far just walking in for the first 5 minutes. This location needs help! I had been dealing with the 1800 line to get a replacement device for my current one is not working and I pay insurance monthly on the device. the 1800 people told me I could pick up the replacement at my local store and would be notified upon the devices arrival. I arrived was greeted by a rep Michael I think he starts to look at his phone and then his manager ( I think) Elsa comes over picks up my phone looks at it within two seconds and puts back down on the counter basically sliding it at me saying we can't take this there's corrosion and scuff and looks like its water damage, I have never dropped the phone in water,so I don't know where water damage was coming from, so then the lady walks away/ out of the store and then I asked the guy fed up at this point am I getting a phone today or not and the guy says no. so instead of escalating it any further I left and upon exiting I saw the rep lady and heard say into a phone yeah im not taking that/ that phone and look at me, I couldn't help but feel she was talking about me as it had only been maybe 3 minutes, the whole experience felt gross and kind of micro aggressive like I understand that the world is anti black but do I have to be mistreated in the phone store where I give money to for phones and pay my bill every month to I didn't see any treatment like this to the other customers some who don't look like me so I have to wonder is this because of how I look? I don't know what I do know is I had a horrible experience and poor customer service, I have since reported this to the 1800 team, and they said this is a corporate store and gets complaints regularly so I feel better about that and by proxy less gaslit. all in all this store could use some revamping. read more

Last week I went to the T-Mobile store on route 1 and experienced a very long wait time and after being skipped after giving my name upon arrival inside the store that did it for me. I left without being assisted. Today, today was an excellent day! I visited this store because I was driving by and remembered I still had unfinished business with T-Mobile. Kevin greeted me and said I would be helped shortly. Granted it's 10:45 am and only a handful of customers. Several minutes later I was assisted and explained why I was there in the first place. I receive notification I was eligible for jump and could up grade to the iPhone 7. After discussing the pluses about the phone and my normal daily use of my existing phone I was surprised to learn about the potential of the iPhone 8 and the anniversary addition coming in about 6 months or so. My interest was peeked! My dilemma was solved. I will wait for the anniversary iPhone, all because of the great customer service and knowledge of Kevin. As it should be PERIOD. read more

After 13+ years with Verizon, I switched over to T-Mobile. I came in to inquire about switching and in less than 30 minutes, my phone was switched over and I was out of there. And, I will have a significantly lower bill every month with far more benefits. I know VZW is the best around, but they are so much more expensive and the competition is getting fierce. Hope it works out for me. My only issue with this store location was there was one associate that was very slow to greet and ask me how I could be helped. Slow is not even the word. Waited an hour to try and turn in a phone. They didn't tell me when they asked what I was in for that I needed my ID. So my first hour long wait was for nothing. So I left and came back an hour and a half later with my ID. Some of the same people were still waiting!!! Finally after an hour I get help only to have the sales rep tell me I don't know why but my tablet is not letting me execute your trade-in. The button just doesn't work, and that was it... that's all she was willing to do. Did not try and call t-mobile to figure it out, nothing. Printed me a label and said take this and mail it in. I could have printed my own label at home and saved myself 2.5 hours of sitting in a store. About the most worthless experience. read more

Beware of the $20 "upgrade/assisted service fee"!!! I was charged $20 for walking in and upgrading my phone when I could have done it online. They didn't have the phone in stock. They literary charged me $20 for 5 minutes to put the same order in I could have done online. I wasn't told about it at all until I went home and the guy told me to sign my agreement at home. Super shady to not tell your customer about the fee. Honesty goes a long ways. T-Mobile just lost a customer because of shady practices at this store. read more

I came in because I was having issues with my iMessage . I couldn't for the love of Hod figure out why I kept seeing green bubbles instead of blue. Joanna the manager helped me out and she was so nice and courteous. I was hesitant to come in because of the covid -19 but everyone there practiced social distancing and Joanna did such An amazing job answering all my questions and fixing my I message and keeping distance. While I was there told me about their promos and ended up adding a line for my daughter . She is great sweet and kind and def tried to make sure I was taking advantage of all my deals. BH-T-MOBES IN THE HIZZY!!! Look here, I switched phones last year after suffering on the Boost Mobile train for a while, and MAN what a difference. After limping along with a sad little Boost Mobile Samsung Whatever phone, I'm now punching myself day after day in the proverbial cell phone testes with an T-Mobes Samsung S5. It's awesome. The service has been great, and the customer service in this location was incredible. Honestly, I went in the with my 4-year-old daughter, and no one batted and eye as she poked around the store--respectfully and quietly like she does, but she's still a kid, and people don't always appreciate that. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped me; unfortunately, I have a horrible memory for names. He was a little guy, looked about 12 years old at most, but his overall knowledge and customer service skills were awesome for a young guy. Seriously, most kids these days don't give a damn about good customer service, but this guy totally blew that out of the water. His knowledge of the technology was amazing, and his thoughtfulness in terms of my personal needs as a user was fantastic. My phone is still working great, and NO TRICKS as far as the billing--what he told me I would be billed is what I'm billed every month. This is by the far the slowest T-mobile I've ever been to. I stood in line for one hour to pay a bill while they serviced all the sales customers prior to a 5 min service of paying my bill. This location needs more employees and employees with common knowledge and customer service. I am filled with so much anger from the lack of professionalism that I'm thinking about canceling my entire service. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the helpfulness of their staff. My old phone broke, so I ordered a new unlocked phone and had to get a new mini SIM. I totally expected surly staff to give me a hard time because I am a prepay customer and have no intention of buying a data plan, but the clerk cheerily hooked up my service and had my new phone working before I left the shop. And they (weirdly) had a buy two get one free deal on accessories, so I ended up with way more screen protectors than I needed. But it's all good! read more

This is the best tmobile location around. They are very courteous and helpful. I pass three or four stores to come to this location. We have five phones on our plan. One of the lines usually needs some type of upgrade. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable decent help! read more

Went in to get one of their plans where they'd pay cancellation fees for my Verizon contract, which I share with four others...... let's just say their customer service is lacking. The Assistant to the Associate Manager, KEVIN, began verbally abusing a young, white family while I was comparing phones. I got out of there in a hurry when the T-Mobile associate began yelling at this family. Thank you whoever you were white family for letting me know what I was in for as a T-Mobile customer. After refusing to help these customers, Kevin proceeded to call 911. What a waste of police resources, but I'll give the Berwyn Heights police credit, by the time I got back to my car and was pulling out, a police car came rolling in. T-Mobile should be ashamed of their bait and switch practices. read more
