My husband and I came in to transfer from Verizon. We came in as a walk in, to see how much it would be and immediately were able to transfer our three phones, iPad, and WiFi. Not only did it come with Netflix, and Hulu and a free line, but the bill is way cheaper than Verizon. We never had service with Verizon and already we have service in our own home. It's refreshing. I worked with Ashley and she is well versed on all T-Mobile products and discounts. We were transferring from Verizon as they started taking away valuable discounts and pricing us out of the service. So we just walked in, no appointments needed, and received help right away. So nice compared to Verizon. Within the hour, our phones were paid for, we transferred for a small $30 fee, and dropped our monthly costs from $252 down to $135 with better services. And finally, they even gave us free, Apple TV and Netflix subscription on them as long as we are subscribing to T- Mobile. Obviously, I am skeptical on price increases in the first year or so like all the other cell companies. Time will tell. Great job, T-Mobile and thank you Ashley for the great service! read more

We went in to upgrade phones at this retail store. We had to ship old phones back to T-Mobile for a rebate credit. The shipment was lost or stolen. I made numerous calls to T-Mobile who initially said we would get credit. Then they canceled the credit and started billing us for the phones. We escalated the claim to their corporate headquarters who would not fill out a claim with UPS. We could not make a claim with UPS because T-Mobile paid for the shipping label. Then, the corporate representative asked why we didn't simply leave the phones with the retail store. That was not presented to us as an option even though the retail clerk helped us transfer the data from the old phones to the new ones. In addition we have had issues with bait-and-switch pricing. We just paid for the phones and went to another carrier. Good riddance T-Mobile. read more

Was very pleased with my service at this location. I found myself in urgent need of a replacement phone and first went to the store in South Lake Tahoe. I found out quickly that the franchise location wouldn't be able to fulfill my needs. I took a ride to Carson (the next closest store) and was immediately so impressed with the service and knowledge of the staff. Asaiah (I hope I spelled that close to correctly) helped me and was informative, friendly, and efficient. Without blaming anyone, he explained to me why the franchise store wasn't able to assist me in the same way. He listened to what I wanted and wasn't pushy with any excessive upselling. He gave me exactly what I needed and got me in and out of there in under 30 minutes. The new hire that he was training was very kind and friendly as well-he will make a great associate once he is fully trained. I never thought I would be motivated to right a 5 star review for a phone store after dishing out $900 on a new phone but the service was that good. Thank you gentlemen! read more

If I could give negative stars I would! T-Mobile is pure crap . They have the worst service out of any cell company! I had to change to spectrum after 15 years of being a sprint customer because T-Mobile took over! Now I get higher bills and no texts or calls coming through even if the wifi is connected! When I call them and tell them about the service they give you the run around and act like nothing is wrong or just apologize 100 times to make you think they care but they don't! T-Mobile is greedy and has crappy service! I would not recommend using this company for anyone looking to switch cell phone carriers! Besides not having any connectivity in the Carson City area, the T-Mobile promotions they offer you you can not get. The website for the promotions is always down. And if you call in with your request that you be put on the promotion they screw it up and you start getting charged anyway by Paramount Plus or Apple tv. Nothing works at t-mobile. The wireless internet for your home doesn't work in this area. 5G does not work in this area. If you want 5G move to Dayton. read more

Good staff of smart people selling a lame product. There is no 5G in Carson City tho they try to tell you there is 5G. Carson City is a 4G/3G LTE town with little high speed connectivity. Check the coverage map. Lame. Even at the store the connectivity is weak weak. They sell these super phones that cannot be used for high speed access as they should. No estimate for when 5G comes to Carson City. If you have TMobile your connection will be fair to poor in town. read more

Okay, today I had the most pleasant experience in T-mobile on Topsy. The store manager Linda was a great help and a great blessing in helping me out with my situation. Her employee Marcelo was also an awesome guy he actually bought me a drink from Starbucks. Sean and the associate manager Josh were also great helps not only with helping me out, but other customers that were coming in and out of the store. Five star for the crazy excellent service we got from ELIAS ACOSTA. He was beyond helpful. My boyfriend's phone had just gotten stolen, worst part was we weren't even from around the area. So it was very frustrating trying to contact tmobile's customer service via phone call on my phone. How are they supposed to send a code to your phone to confirm your identity when your phone just got stolen?!?! Anyways, Elias came to the rescue. He basically handled the whole situation for us. He knew exactly what he was doing; he got the stolen phone/SIM card blacklisted for security purposes (without us having to ask). He even gave us some pointers that saved us a few hundred bucks. You may want to lube up before going to the T-Mobile store in Carson City because they will gouge you for every penny they can without telling you about the excessive charges. I don't know if the staff is trained to withhold information or if the folks there are just naturally dishonest. The actual phone service is very good. My experience with the store, however, was terrible. Go somewhere else. read more
