After what could have been the start of a very frustrating and disappointing day due to a few Verizon visits, we stopped at T-Mobile just to check it out. We had been trying to upgrade with Verizon and instead we ended up becoming loyal T-Mobile customers! Customer Service begins the moment you walk in the door! And thanks to a very professional employee, Gabriel L, we experienced Christmas in November due to the questions he asked us and the promotions we were able to take advantage of! I arrived at this T-Mobile because of technical issues with my shattered iPhone 5s. I couldn't receive T-Mobile's cellular service anymore because my device was too obsolete to function like a normal phone at that point. Hilda was super helpful with what to do then: get a new up-to-date phone. The whole exchange process only took a couple hours, effortlessly purchasing my new iPhone 13 mini and transferring all of my data, photos, and apps over onto my new phone. Although my old phone was only worth $32 at that point, I got $200 off in credit on my new up-to-date phone. I'll definitely come here when I encounter cellular problems in the future. read more

John is the best :) I've been without a cell phone since the end of January because there were no appts available at the Apple store and the online asurion claim form wouldn't give me an option to mail in my phone, I had to check daily and choose an appt in my area when one happened to open up. The one that opened up was in Santee at a Best Buy? I've never seen an "Apple Store" within another store but whatever. I waited 1 1/2 weeks for my appt time and the rep at the Apple Store at Best Buy says that insurance won't cover my phone because the back is broken and Apple Care will want a $400 deductible. I figured I'd find a cheaper way to go so I asked him for the nearest Sprint/T-Mobile store to get my bill in order and to see what my options were. I really didn't think I would get much help but John finally got on the phone with Asurion which I hadn't been able to do, and after getting the ball rolling, he passed the phone to me and bottom line is that Apple Care will cover my iPhone for $99. I received my new iPhone 2 days later (it was President's Day) and now I just need to send my broken phone back in the same box. After a month of frustration and resentment (I've been paying for insurance and Apple Care for years and now I am unable to speak with/ or even make an appt with an Apple Store closer than Palm Desert???) I finally found someone who actually made an effort to help. I'm still not able to make an appt for my MacBook even though I check daily for an available appt. I'll be sure to go back to T-Mobile/Sprint when John is working in order to transfer my data from my old to new phone. Wish there were more people as knowledgeable and as motivated to help as John. read more

I keep looking for a t mobile store that isnt ridiculous, and the search continues. So go in to pay my bill. 30 second transaction for most. Maybe 2 minutes for a t mobile employee. But there ate 5 people ahead of me. I dont mind waiting my turn. Well I mind a little at t mobile because of the mind numbing pace at which they complete any task. But I ask the woman with the tablet amassing a wait list how long it will be and she says there are 5 people ahead of me. Well I can see and that's not really what I asked but I assume many of these folks are going to be negotiating a plan and selecting a phone coupled with the speed at which the employees work and I'm looking at an hour to perform a task requiring less than a minute. Do you think this is reasonable t-mobile. You interface to the public is very poorly managed at best and planned at worse. I'll try another store and see if any reasonable people work there. read more

If I could give T-Mobile and this location ZERO stars, I would. My family and I have been into this location now 9 times over the last 3 months to try to switch our service from Sprint to T-Mobile and get new phones. Every time we are met with unfriendly and incompetent service. The first phone went off without a hitch but had to order the 2nd phone since pretty much everything was out of stock. Received the 2nd phone and wasted 8 hours in the store for them to not complete the set up of the phone and forgot to put the SIM card in and then blamed us for the phone not working. Never even apologized for their mistake once they realized it was their mistake. 3rd phone has been the worst experience of them all. Had to sit on hold for 2+ hours with an out of country service rep just to be sent a defective phone. Trying to replace the phone or getting any help with it has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE. ZERO help calling customer service. ZERO help going into the store. We've tried going to other T-Mobile locations, but they say they can't help us and we have to go back to the Santee location. Then come to find out, they never switched our service from Sprint to T-Mobile. And of course, no apologies whatsoever for horrible customer service and their mistakes. Do yourself a favor and RUN as fast as you can away from T-Mobile and find yourself a competent service provider. read more
