I paid cash for this phone and signed no contract for this phone at Target. I used this phone for many years with Consumer Cellular who only charged me for service I agreed with. I later switched to AT&T who told me i would have better coverage with AT&T. For the next few days i had no phone service. After that was fixed, my calls were getting dropped. I then saw excessive withdrawals of 437 from my account. I was then told it was for payment installments on a phone I bought years ago at Target before service with AT&T. AT&T told me I only paid taxes on the phone I had bought from Target and told me to go and get a receipt from years ago . I told someone at Target my situation with AT&T and they told me as I had signed no contract for this phone and bought it outright, there was nothing they could do about this situation. I then talked to a target employee who was a former employee of AT&T and was familiar with their history of excessive withdrawals from customers bank accounts. He informed me I needed to call the office of president escalation. As i no longer wanted to spend all day on the phone only to talk with someone who was only interested in selling me more services and then getting disconnected. I then reported these unauthorized excessive withdrawals by AT&T to the Better Business Bureau as customer service at AT&T used stalling and delaying techniques which lasted 6 hours as they told me to go to the AT&T store and when I got to the AT&T store they ​they told me to call AT&T who were of no help. I am a senior citizen who is also a 100% disabled veteran on a fixed income with a chronic debilitating lung disease. After experiencing the frustration of being on the phone with customer service for hours only to be disconnected, i then decided AT&T was unable to get this matter resolved, I then filed a complaint with the FCC.

After 4 days trying with a 800 number, still not canceled, it's now been so many hours on the phone with it still not canceled. Very upset and disappointed at this Mgr. And AT&T. Stay far from them!! I had my own phone, just for a sim card to try 1 phone for service they want over $300 for a business line Update!! Two weeks later, After 4+ phone calls and talking to the store mgr. every time, and he said that he forwarded the paperwork to upper management to cancel and to void any charges. I find out today he's on maternity leave, and I still owe a very large bill, It is climbing, and I still have service. I called the 800 number again while in the store, since the associates there can't help me. They took my info to pass it on. I filed complaints with AT&T again and then filed a police report online for this account that is not authorized to be billing me, and then they trespassed me in response to me getting the cops now involved after a month!!! Stay far from this establishment! I'm going to get an attorney after the holiday.

Now that I've given the history and my "iPhone bio", let me tell you what changed. In comes Michael G. He was knowledgeable and listened to everything I said, even the details of how I liked to travel, job life , etc. I mention this because upon receipt of the quote for all the new gadgets and services, Michael had customized the plan so that it covered domestic and international travel. Most wouldn't pick up on that, but he did. He was also acutely aware of how I did not want to be going through the process of setting up a new phone, watch, or an iPad and he did it all. I have to give a shout out to his manager. He was awesome. I was a walk-in later in the evening and they didn't rush me. He offered me and other customers water as we were waiting. He was very thoughtful with all customers. Sidenote, there was a very cranky individual this particular evening and the staff and the manager handled it with grace. So, I guess you can say that I loath the process a little less now. Thank you, Michael and team Verizon! Let me not forget to mention that I also went back today because I was having issues with some of the apps and again I walked in late, but they made sure they resolved the problem even after they officially closed.

So when I finally do a online appointment ahead of time and drive 40 minutes to a location that was able to fit into my timeframe only to be told that they cannot help me whatsoever and it is a first come first serve basis. To be told blatantly that the online scheduled appointments mean absolutely nothing when only one person is working. I pray that one day they decide to send a text message notifying somebody that their appointment cannot be done that day. Do not waste my valuable time and get driving. Verizon is frustrating.

He stated that he had a stroke last year and has been homeless. He said someone stole his walker that night and that he was trying to get to cricket to get his phone set up. I took him to cricket and and explained the situation. Said I was getting off soon and needed to go find him a new walker and asked if they could help him and let him stay there until I got back (took about 45 min). They were super professional and accommodated him like he was a friend. I went and got the walker and when i got back he was all set up and they where helping him walk back to his seat. My friend told me about Consumer Cellular, I checked out their options, after which I choose to go with them! I've never had any issues with them! In fact when I signed up, I received several discounts the same day. One was a discount for being a senior citizen (I'm 74) my monthly bill was $40.00 . down from T-Mobiles of $97.00, that's a $57.00 less. Second discount, off first bill was their discount of second month was Free! Third discount I received was my military veterans discount!, and the fourth one was because I was referred to Consumer Cellular! I'm like, Wow, who else would do that? My first bill was only $18.00, my second was Free, paid only Taxes and fees which was $4.00 my third bill, with taxes and fees Was only $48.01, still $49.00 cheaper than T-Mobile, I didn't mention before T-Mobile, I was with Verizon, that monthly bill for one line was $117.00 When I called about the Consumer Cellulars advertisement on TV saying that Consumer Cellulars monthly bill for people over 50 was $35.00, I called them and asked if I would be able to get that rate also, even though I was already an existing customer? No explanations or excuses to the negative! The gentleman immediately, said, yes of course! , and changed my plan to reflect my monthly bill to the $35.00 rate! Will I recommend Consumer Cellular to others? Without a doubt! YES YES Yes! They give their customers more than what they Say! I'll be a Consumer Cellular customer for a very long time!

It was NOT once disclosed that the data was not actually unlimited. It was unlimited up to 50gb shared between 4 people and then it was slow. When I say slow, it hardly worked. The service CC carries was not good at all actually. Nor did they disclose all the extra fees. Then when we finally switched, they didn't cancel the account when I requested. They then are trying to charge me for an additional month even though paid what I owed the day I cancelled.
