The younger ones 18-23 year olds have no idea about the streets in the communities they were dispatching for. There were a few who also were not sure where surrounding communities were located. Some did not even know where I-290 was. Seriously!!! Management ran a sweat shop facility. 12 hour days and lunch was only a half hour AT YOUR TERMINAL. Breaks not allowed for more than a few minutes. The "kids" in midnight shifts slept and those who were not sleeping, covered for them. Citizens should really question why a "consolidated dispatch center" is so cheap! Most of the Board of Directors on NORCOMM are publuc servants who push for this toyland service. Kickbacks for them? Maybe, they are political cronies. Towns and Villages need to shy away from this company! I DO NOT RECONMEND GOING WITH NORCOMN for consolidated dispatch. Unless of course you do not care for your citizens or a poor community that cannot pay for professionalism.
