What a fun and knowledgeable group of people! Everybody was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. We stopped in to check out their 55+ program and Avery was well informed and very respectful of our needs and concerns. She explained every detail and all of our questions were responded to in a positive manner. We had been AT&T customers for decades, but in recent times have been less than pleased with their customer service and pricing policies. We immediately saved around $250 a year by switching to the 55+ program currently being offered by T-Mobile. We took advantage of having our car set up for broadband access with t-Mobile's sync hardware. The store manager, Akash immediately set up the hardware and associated software in our car and on my iPhone. He was extremely positive and super knowledgeable, plus an all-around good chap! In addition to basic roadside assistance, one of the benefits of the sync hardware is that you immediately receive recall and service notifications about your car. One of the service notifications we received when the system went active dealt with a particular issue that we had been having with our car and had been unable to pinpoint the exact problem. Because of this feature we now have a solution! Overall, a very positive experience with the crew at this t-Mobile location. We were also fortunate to have the Portland area marketing manager present at the store when we signed up for T-Mobile service. His name is Drake and he was totally awesome!! Jeff was swamped with many customers both days, and was working alone as his coworkers called out without warning. We came in to get help / service. Jeff made us feel like a priority and made sure we went through each and every possible route to fix the issues at hand. Thanksgiving week in 2019, we decided to visit the T-Mobile Lake Oswego store for new phones for my two sons and iwatches for my hubby and I. We have company phones so we don't need personal phones. We have had AT&T for probably 20+ years and heard T-Mobile was good so we came to check things out. We were working with Juliet who was quite new at the time and the store manager, Jade who was assisting her a lot with questions. We weren't ready to buy but Jade was willing to give us credits to make the purchase worthwhile and switch to T-Mobile especially with the promotion of buy an iwatch, get one free plus $600 credits ($100/month). I asked her to give me something in writing on a business card or something and she said she didn't have business cards with her name on it and that she wasn't going anywhere. We got one credit in Nov. or Dec. I can't remember so I was like, "ok, good" she's keeping her word and we will keep the phones/iwatches. Then she missed one and I called and stopped in the store. She said corporate froze her credits but she was going to be able to start again soon. We saw another month of credit so I thought "ok, we are back on track". Then no credit again so I stopped into the store and found out Jade was no longer there. I talked to the new store manager, Serene and she said she would look into it. I have followed up many times with her on the phone and again stopped into the store. Serene is very nice and polite and has said she's attempted multiple times to get my issue resolved but isn't having much luck. She had mentioned there was another customer that was having the same issue with credits not being processed. Juliet remembers us and remembers the credits that were promised to us. T-Mobile is huge and it's a matter of $400 of credits that were promised to us by one of their employees witnessed by another one of their employees. Our monthly phone bills are high and with the way T-Mobile does billing, we can't figure out if we actually got the free iwatch promotion so that $400 was critical in whether we stick with T-Mobile or not. After months of talking to Serene, I asked her for another contact to escalate the situation. She gave me Aaron's email address and I sent him an email few days ago with no response. We changed carriers because of what was promised to us by their employees and now we are months in. Although the people were nice and friendly, I'm very disappointed in my experience with T-Mobile as a company thus far. I'm tired of waiting and spending all this time chasing this money that was rightfully due to us. T-Mobile, I'm disappointed in you for not following through with what your employees promised with witnesses from your own store!! read more
