The manager Jerry helped me. First he quoted a plan with trade in and it turned out the plan and trade in price wouldn't work together. So I settled for another plan with fewer perks(same price) to get the phone trade in deal. When I got home and looked at the PDF that was sent to me, there was an added $19.00 monthly fee for protection that I didn't ask for. Had to go back in and get that removed. Then when I saw my first bill, the trade in credit was almost $10 less than what Jerry told me it would be. I went back in and was told I'd get the difference in a one time bill credit sometime in the future maybe 2-3 bill cycles. When I ask why I wasn't told this up front, Jerry became m agitated. He never apologized...he said "the system " did it, so took no personal accountability. His last words to me were that if I wasn't happy I should just go back to Verizon. Won't go to that store again. Bait and switch tactics and poor customer service skills. read more

I would not use this company if someone paid me. It's a pretty long story and right now I'm so mad, I couldn't do it justice. I bought service for 2 phones an iPad and internet. I never received the phone because it was lost in shipping. When the purchase was made, they gave me 3 SIM cards and told me to come in when the new phone came in with the iPad and both phones and they'd download everything and get it going for me. Since I never received the phone, I never was able to use any of their equipment or anything of theirs and they still charged me almost $300. This is just wrong. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Went to purchase an upgrade phone with no trade-in and no protection necessary as it's a cheaper phone for outside heavy duty work. Told I couldn't buy a phone outright, had to finance, but if a line is added the phone is free and the bill would be lower. Then proceeds to charge taxes on free phone and draw up paperwork for financing. Ugh. Just wanted to buy a phone! took the phone back as the receipt made no sense. Went home, contacted T-Mobile to reverse everything. Got charged a $40 "restocking" fee from these jerks for a phone that went back within a half hour. STAY AWAY from the "authorized" dealers! We switched from Verizon to t mobile. T-Mobile had a promotion to pay off my iPhone 13 for up to $800 (I owed $600). All I had to do was bring in my next Verizon bill with amount owing. Did that. Not good enough. This started a protracted back and forth trying to get the info to them. They always wanted one more thing which we could no longer get from Verizon. We got messages of didn't receive mailbox full. Bill too blurred to see. On and on it went until it was clear they flat out weren't going to pay. DONT FALL FOR IT read more

I went into this store to buy a new iphone for my husband on November 1, 2023. I have been a T Mobile customer for approximately 20 years between using them for my business, and then once I sold that, for my personal use. I have always received good service until I went into this store. They sold me the phone at full price (which I agreed to), got me to switch to their Internet service (which I am happy with) and then tried to give me two tablets for "free" with "free" sim cards. I told them I did not need any tablets and the sales representative kept telling me that both the tablets and sim cards were free. I gave back one tablet and a sim card, and despite my misgivings, as it did not make sense, walked out with the free tablet. I have never used it or the sim card in it. Then I received my bill and was charged $25 per month for the "free" tablet. I was also not credited for the sim card I returned. The internet was not the amount I was told I would be charged ($45 instead of $40). Tmobile support said I needed to drive back to the store to get it sorted out there when I called them about the bill . I took the handwritten notes with me that clearly said I had paid for the phone at full retail and that the tablet was free. I showed them the bill showing the $25 charge. They kept saying it was free even though there was a charge and that Tmobile just broke it down that way ?????. It was a case of "Do you believe your eyes and the math or them". Three of the sales reps ganged up on me saying that the bill was correct and said that I needed to come back to see the manager on another day to resolve this. It takes me an hour or more each way to get to the store. I had the feeling that this is something they are doing to many customers. Pushing a product on them and telling them it is free and then they get the bill. Going back to see the manager, I feel will end up with the same result. I called Tmobile customer support again today and had them cancel the unused sim lines and the one for the tablet. I am now stuck paying for the tablet for 22 months at $8.34 per month, and cannot return it, but it is at least better than the $25 per month charge along with the charge for the sim card I returned. Don't use this store. To add insult to injury, one of the salesmen who ganged up on me, said that since he did not make the original sale to me, could I give him a good review! I was speechless, to say the least. Customer support at Tmobile on the phone today was great, as they usually are, from my prior experience with them. They explained everything clearly and told me what my options were. I hate to think how much more I would have been charged had I taken the second tablet that was also "free". Don't trust them at this location. There are other Tmobile stores nearby in Burlington. I have not used them, but hope they are less likely to mislead customers. I also had trouble with Trevor. I found him to be condescending. When I refused to purchase a phone case, he had the nerve to question my judgement and then told me that I would need to have at least 3 mos of insurance at $18/mo. When I told him that I didn't want to buy insurance either, just a phone, he told me that the insurance purchase was required and that I would be able to cancel it after 3 months. I declined and told him I wouldn't purchase the phone under those conditions. He told me to go ahead, so indeed, I left the store without making the purchase. I then found another store by See's in Burlington that required 4 mos of insurance, but at least they had nice staff who apologized that they couldn't sell a phone without insurance. But I didn't give in to coercion there either, though it was at least a nice interaction. I would have gone back if there were no other alternatives. . But then I went home and called around and found another T Mobile store that had the phone I wanted and had much more respectful policies. Certainly this other staff also wanted to sell insurance, and politely gave me the cautions on rules; but they had respect and I was allowed to decline the insurance. As I told the salesperson, I've owned cell phones for 25 years and have never broken one or cracked the screen or casing. So even if I do lose my luck and break my new phone, replacing it at full price will be still substantially less that the money I would have paid in insurance premiums for all of those years (18 per mo per year is $216/yr, and $5400 for 25 yrs.) So I recommend pricing around...not all T-Mobiles are the same. And hey, even if you want the up-sale on insurance, at least buy it from someplace with nice staff like the one in Burlington. read more

Trevor C. was rude, lacked any math skills, and lost his temper. I went in to get a new phone and he assured me I would get a $500 discount on a $700 phone if I used the plan that added $20 a month for two years. You do the math. When I asked him a 3rd to explain to me just how I was saving $500 he threw his arms up in the air and told me to quit interrupting him. I probably was. When I explained again that $480 off of a $700 phone was not a savings of $500. He looked at me and said you're already only paying $50 a month, most NORMAL people (I guess a younger person, not a senior) pay $99 a month. I left and went to a different T-mobile store where they agreed with me that I was not saving $500 and they did not offer any plans like that. Very nice people at the T-mobile store across the street from Best Buy. read more
