Customer service sent me to the store. I had a horrible experience trying to get my transfer pin with Jonathan. He said we don't do that (call customer service) and refused to help me. I called t-mobile customer service and they said they only way was to have the store provide it. I had them on speaker and he still refused. I got the pleasure of working with Jonathan B. It was a very hot Sunday afternoon, and I called to see how busy the store was. It had been quiet all day, but he had the foresight to tell me many times traffic comes in waves. He was correct, by the time I got to the store. There was three people waiting, and two people came in after me. His professionalism was top-notch, being the only worker he was diligent to greet the newcomers, briefly ask about their visit and to be patient with him while he helped the people that had arrived in front of me. He continued to glance and make nonverbal communication that would be a few minutes longer, to keep everyone in status of their place in the queue He is a valuable asset to your organization and represents both T-Mobile and your franchise group very well. If I could give six stars, I would. Make sure you take care of viable employees like Jonathan. They are the face of the nations best and largest carrier. Poor experiences drive customers from brands band valuable ones strengthen the bond and keep us. People like Jonathan are becoming harder and harder to find. Super positive experience with Tony @ Jantzen Beach. We had bought new iPhones @ the Apple Store and had taken them into the downtown SW Broadway Portland store, only to have a manager named Leandrew refuse to help us and lie to us about not being able to remove a SIM block on our T-Mobile accounts. All he had to do was call customer service! After talking to a T-Mobile customer service rep she put notes on our account and said to go to a different store. Tony had our service working and we were in and out within 15 minutes. Super professional and a really nice looking store at Jantzen Beach. I'll happily go back if I need anything further. I broke my phone yesterday and needed to replace it asap. I made an appointment online and when I arrived the manager Tyler immediately helped me 15 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. Being over 50 years old sometimes younger techies will assume I'm old and don't know jack about technology. Tyler made no such assumption, was respectful, polite, and quick. I was in and out of the store in approximately 30 minutes with a new phone I love. Much respect to Tyler for actually understanding how to run a phone store. read more

Phone stores are notorious for long waits, inefficient workforce and bad attitudes. WELL NOT THIS TIME!!!! I was greeted by four extremely friendly people who took their time and energy to make sure I was completely taken care of, including making sure I was hydrated. Sareen, her coworker and I laughed and had a great time while my new plan and new phone got all worked out. The manager took his time and explained things well. Overall it was such a great experience I bought everyone coffee across the way at Starbucks. I will go back just to say hi!!!!. Terrible company. They lied to us about the value of a phone and promised us one price. Then a week later said the perfectly working phone with no cracks anywhere (it was inspected by a manager the day of getting new phones) was cracked and broken. They wouldn't give the full price that was promised. We asked for the phone back and to cancel the contract and they refused. Customer service was no help. The manager was unethical and fraudulent. I would not recommend this company. read more

I don't even want to contemplate how many hours I have spent in phone stores over the years! Generally a poor experience that never takes as little time as one would like, or even expect, even with the nearly infinite amount of possibilities to deal with. So I hate going back to phone stores. But we just decided that the flat $40 rate was too good to pass up, and moved 2 lines to T-Mobile. Great decision - the guys in the store were fantastic. It took a couple hours, due to some information we had incorrectly provided, but throughout they were friendly, patient, gracious, informative. We are now going to move another 5 lines over to T-Mobile, primarily due to the great service we received in store. We even went back the next day because we needed to follow up on something, and the manager talked to us about ways he could change the process so that even if we gave the wrong information, we wouldn't get into the situation we encountered. I love stores that think through how to improve. Definitely recommend stopping by, even if it is a bit out of your way. read more

I walked in the store thinking about switching from horrible AT&T service/fees and was convinced that T-mobile had the best deal for me and my family. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service I received from Nahom- he is an absolute professional! He was very knowledgeable about the products/services and he really went the extra mile in helping me resolve some of the issues I had when we switched. When you talk about cell carriers and experiences in-store, you usually think it's going to be like surgery- you're dealing with a large amount of details, it's gonna take the rest of your day, and it will probably have many undesirable complications. Not so with this store! Excellent and efficient customer service, making things simple, and honesty and integrity were all the things my family and I experienced here. The hero of this story is definitely Nathan W. with his fantastic attitude, phenomenal sense of humor, all while being very knowledgeable about the processes that needed to be done- culminating in getting us out the door in record time.
