They don't know how to talk to you when u want to help, I was shown a plan that was pretty reasonable, But I couldn't sign up in til opened up my credit report to show them I had good credit. To make a long story short, I come back the very next day, a different rep was there (the rep I spoke to was not in yet. Ok, I talk to another rep, she tells me that The plan that I agreed to never exist and proceeds to show me some bulls...s... plan that cost more, I understand the're probably on commission but to think I would fall for that. 24 years! We have used T-MOBILE for the family cell service. 6 phone lines. T-MOBILE employees are not all on the same page' for customer service. And info. Promised waived fees no honored. Customer service is not a concept they understand. Phone service is not consistent. Making arrangements now to switch companies. My dad broke his phone and I came with him to the store to help with exchanging for a new one. There was a huge language barrier and my dad was being stubborn. He was in denial that his phone was completely dead (motherboard included). Staff tried to explain but he denied reality *sigh*...We ended up running in circles because my dad was indecisive of whether he wanted his old broken phone or not. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO JARROD for being so patient and informative. I think we literally went in circles for at least a half hour in the store. No one greeted me when I walk thru the door, after 30 minutes in line finally my turn. They did however said hi to everyone else that walked thru that door after me. This was around 9am. So I upgraded my phone to the 6plus and need to transfer all my photos videos etc. one guy came in after me and dropped off his phone to transfer pictures and videos also. He told her he'll be back in 1 hour to pick it up. Fast forward another 45 minutes, so I've been waiting in here for 1hr 15minutes. The guy then starts to do the info transfer for me then the "Spanish speaking" woman (dark long hair)said, "No she has to wait cuz the guy is coming back in an hour which is in 15 minutes".. So the guy unplug my phone and did the other guys phone. I have been in this store patiently waiting while the other dude came after me and is outside somewhere doing his thing. I asked ok? So I thought I was first? She then said but u have about 100 videos and he only had 50something videos. WTF? So I asked how long is it going to take? They informed me it will be another 1 1/2 hr! So I left and said I'll pick it up when it's done. I called to check every dam hour it's still not done! My phone has to be picked up by my husband the next day around noon time. He have the nerve to ask can u pick it up by 7pm tonight? WTF? My husband wasn't having it so he demanded my phone and got the fck outta there!!! Horrible service!! I went to T-Mobile today with my spouse to ask some questions about iPhone. The Kam Man T-Mobile store is full of smart, polite, and helpful people whom also speak Chinese. My spouse speaks standard Mandarin Chinese (Han yu) and they could interact and discuss money and prices, and anything we needed to know. We are considering purchasing an iPhone and since the iPhone store in Braintree offers a significant student ID discount they suggested we buy it there, then bring it back there to activate it since they could do it in Chinese, and it wouldn't be a problem. I've been with T-Mobile since 2001, so I like them very much. I've tried to switch to other providers and ended up always going back to T-Mobile. But, he then precedes to do it in the store. They frown upon anyone there looking for help, unless you plan on purchasing one of their overpriced products. Oh my Glob, if I had seen the reviews on this store, I would have never come in. I had a really great experience with the T-Mobile staff, namely, Yuri. I was transitioning my phone number from Verizon. Spending way too much to be restricted on a family plan from 2003 my well meaning mother kept being suckered into resigning. I had the phone, I had the service plan picked out, I had Yuri start the process of getting it all done. He helped verbally another customer who was waiting while he waited for something to turn over in the system, which I don't mind. As the third customer in a store with only two sales associates, I can appreciate that sometimes. I ended up coming back the next day because my number hadn't transitioned over. Yuri was there, but I couldn't speak with him. After speaking with the other associate, I find out I have to wait a little longer for the information to transition. Boo, ok, I'll come back later, I guess. Later on, he looked in my account and ended having a texting conversation with me about how to resolve my number switch (Turns out Verizon had given me the wrong pin). We only texted because I don't pick up strange, unfamiliar numbers. I've only just started this plan, but we'll see how it pans out. I'm excited for the contractless wonder T-mobile has introduced stateside. I had come in before to activate my plan, and a creepy older gentleman without a great grasp on the English language was attempting to help me. I couldn't use the phone I wanted to with that purchase, so I ended up coming back a week later, and meeting with Yuri. If I had to base it on that interaction, I would've given it a begrudging three stars. read more

This was by far one of the best experiences I have had while visiting a T-Mobile location. Team member Jarrod and his manager Jacky helped me out while I was facing the issue of dealing with a water damaged phone. Jarrod clearly examined the issue and described my options, considering both my needs and the best way to keep things affordable for me. They were friendly, attentive, and professional. If / when I have future issues, I'll be sure to visit this location again. I wholly recommend the location. Only "downside" is that I drove and had to drive around for parking for a few minutes. I would like to inform ALL PEOPLE thinking about buying a T-Mobile contract that they are DIRTY CHEATERS. As I rarely use my phone, I changed my plan to "Pay by Day" - $2.00 per day when I DO use my phone. Their website clearly says that YOU PAY ONLY WHEN YOU USE YOUR PHONE. I specially verified this with a chat agent online. But the problem is that it's a LIE. After 4 days of using this plan and NOT HAVING MADE A SINGLE CALL OR SENT A SINGLE TEXT, I have discovered that I have been charged (or, rather, ROBBED) $6.00!!! Naturally, I was extremely annoyed and connected with an T-Mobile agent online. And this agent - that's what really made me mad with them - explains me calmly that they charge $2.00 EVERY TWO DAYS FOR SOMETHING CALLED "PLAN RENEWAL" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND NOT A WORD ABOUT IT ON THEIR WEBSITE!!!!!!! I regard this as a FRAUD and CHEATING because they conceal IMPORTANT PLAN DETAILS and thus deceive the customers about the real cost. Therefore I would like all people to know that THEY ARE CHEATERS. This is unacceptable and unpardonable. I will NEVER advise anyone to have ANYTHING to do with T-Mobile!!! read more

I've been here many times before and the waiting time is insane but... yesterday was the last drop. So SG Note 4 has just been released and I wanted to see it in person. I know it is out of stock everywhere right now but I just wanted to see the actual phone, not online pictures of it. Called them in advance and was told that they do have the display model, yes (talked to Chen). Came in to the store 20 mins later, made 4 rounds around the show room: no phone. I wanted to ask where do they hide it but was told to sign in to the log and wait. There were 3 people in front of me. I waited 8 minutes: still 3 people in front of me. I left. I sat waiting for 30 minutes for a simple trade in and upgrade. After another 10 minutes I was called by the associate who said "you're so quiet I forgot all about you!" Are you kidding? So, I'm being penalized for patiently waiting? The worst part is that no one told me until after 40 minutes of waiting that this store does my do instant trade ins and my credit would be applied after 2 months. Long story short I left and my time was wasted because of terrible customer service. I was among one of victims of being scammed by buying a phone from eBay. Nowadays, everything can be expensive. Like many others, I tried to find a phone at a cheaper price. In my best memory as I recalled, I bought an HTC One early last summer on eBay. The seller assured that it was brand new and working. Don't get me wrong, it was working great until around November. The phone cannot make calls nor receive them. I began to feel worried. I took the phone to this T-mobile store in Quincy, hoping the problem will be fixed. Long story short, they found out the phone was blacklisted and that the was nothing they could do to help. I made a couple of visits before the result was concluded. It was great that the problem was discovered, but I didn't appreciate some of the reps ridiculing me, and in front of me because of the ignorant purchase I made. The seller of the phone never finished paying off his contract. I never thought I would walked into the trap. Because it already passed 30 days, eBay cannot do anything about it either. I learned my lesson from there. Another rep said to me why do I keep coming back here for? I was in my desperate attempt to get the phone working again. I heard that it is possible to have the phone unblocked/unlocked so that it's no longer blacklisted. Again, the reps told me there was nothing they could do. I was emotionally frustrated and told myself to never ever walked into that store again. I decided to sell the phone on eBay as a locked phone, knowing that I won't get back the same value as I had bought it. Miraculously, an eBay member there contacted me and told me that he is an expert in fixing phones. It was quite a risk but he has 100% feedback and what not. I sent the phone to him. Less than a week later, he sent the phone back to me, and it was working again. I am so happy that there are still good people in this world who are willing to help those in need. I wanted to come back to this store and cuss the hell out of them but what good would it do? what would I accomplished by wasting any more of my time, air, and space for people who weren't helpful and left me feeling hopeless? Aforementioned, I hope no one would make the same mistake I did by buying a phone from eBay or even Craigslist, unless it specifically said it is unlocked for all carriers, and that it is already "paid" for in full. The T-mobile reps could of handled the situation more professionally. I'll never forget those faces, and my desperate and hopeless moment in that store. read more

As another rating of horrible customer service. The worker that goes by "Chien" is a terrible worker, and quite rude in fact. I brought in my phone asking a problem that it doesn't make a single sound when calling, but is completely fine when it is using WIFI for calls (No apps, regular setting using wifi signal for calls). He takes a look at it and notices small scratches and an unnoticeable crack on the screen and just replies "We not repair shop, take it to repair shop" and just replies that for another minute or two along with "You need insurance, or buy new phone". That sounded like so much bullshit right? I even point out that I can make calls normally with WIFI and he just ignores the fact of that and says it's "Audio broken, call T-Mobile". His service was so horrible that I made a Yelp account to just say how bad this Chien man is. I can't say the same about other workers, but this one needs to be fired. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER, DON'T GO TO THIS T-MOBILE STORE. I brought my daughters new phone (30 days old) back to this store because it was not working. The manager CHIEN initially said it was covered because I bought the extended warranty even though the phone comes with a one year warranty. He had us waiting over 30 minutes while he as setting up the new phone. After the new phone was set up and ready to go he then changed his mind and said that T-Mobile would mail us the new phone in 2 to 4 days. I asked him why he had us wait 30 minutes and he answered it was T-Mobile policy. I don't know who was more confused, me or the STORE MANAGER. I agreed to have him set up the mail order which was another 20 minutes, he then tells me he has to charge me a processing fee. I said if it's under warranty and you sold me a defective phone, why would I pay you more money, his answer, "It's T-Mobile policy". This store is a joke, the manager CHIEN has no idea what he is doing, this guy could not run a lemonade stand. This store does NOT even deserve one star. read more
