I stopped by the store today because I had a warranty exchange that I was told to pick up. I started service with T-Mobile about a month ago and one of the free phones they gave me was a Motorola razor. The phone has never been dropped or damaged in any way by me yet one day about 2 weeks ago I opened it and there was a black dot on the screen with a pink light straight line going up to the top. I stopped off at the McHenry T-Mobile and they said that was an LCD problem that happens to all these phones. So I ordered a replacement under the warranty, I live in Riverbank so I have them deliver it to that store instead. Here's where the issues come in, Jossue was amazing he did everything he possibly could to try to help me including trying to get the warranty covered through Motorola themselves using the emi and the security code or number whatever you call it. According to my Motorola the codes for the emi and security are not even valid. So because of his help I would give a five-star experience to Jossue. Tenaya on the other hand was rude and obnoxious. Yes, I was upset that I had come all that way to pick up the phone after I had already gone to another store. It had been two separate trips and then I'm going through them not willing to give me the phone. I even asked could she contact the other store because their store manager approved the warrenty and the ones that sent it there and she said no.. she had no concern or consideration for what was going on and then stomped to the back with the phone that was supposed to be my exchange and said no now you're not getting anything go back to the other store. As a professional you have to understand that if someone has already driven to numerous places everything was set up for pickup and then the last minute you're being told that now the warranty that was abided by according to the person who set it up and send it to your store . I was simply trying to explain to her that if T-Mobile is giving out these phones or selling these phones with full knowledge that this happens to the screen which is what I was told that it happens all the time. Then they have to be willing to take the old phone or the phone that has damage on it and replace the phone. You also cannot give a phone out where the emi or security code doesn't exist that's fraud. And whether she likes it or not her job was to help solve that problem not be obnoxious to a customer. Sometimes a little professionalism goes a long way so thank you Jossue for doing your best and being professional. Tenaya I'd recommend you getting a job that doesn't have to do with people. Your customer service skills are severely lacking. Again I want to clarify that my rating for Jossue is five stars. He deserves to be praised. Due to Tenayas behavior I'm giving her a one star. I've been to this location twice now. I live very close and would love it if this store was worth it, but it isn't. They gave my mom the runaround a couple of years ago which I had to go over and fix. Okay... I didn't like my experience but moved on. Now the other night I stopped in to see about Home Wifi in the area. The girl was definitely pushing for me to get it and honestly I'm very interested. However, I just wanted to make sure by calling 611 that it in fact covered where I lived. She stated it did, and I could do the $50 per month with the first two months free. Today I called 611 and spoke to a rep who said that the service was not available in the area. She checked and double-checked and said no. I told her that the store said it did. I asked her to get them on the phone so we can do a three-way call. So online support did just that. The girl in the store said that I do not have unlimited availability in my area. She stated it was an option with data and the Lite plan. I am not interested in this because it does not save me money and it's limited coverage of data. No thank you. As I'm trying to have this conversation, the girl in the store continually talks over the top of me, until I finally tell her to stop interrupting me. I don't need a story, I need the facts on whether or not it will work. Come to find out it won't. This is very frustrating, and I feel like I just got the runaround from the store. The girl from the other night never mentioned one time about a Lite Plan. Nothing, just that I needed to act fast to take advantage of the $50 unlimited. If would have done that, I would be without internet at my house which affects my job. This is unacceptable. I realize that some of these workers just work at the store. This isn't a career, but I do have a career in which I need the internet. What a waste of my time this was. I will never go back to this store. I will shop in Modesto or Stockton moving forward or online. The last thing is that the online support was supposed to stay with me so she could help me navigate and understand where the breakdown happened. She did not do that. Upon getting the store on the phone, she just hung up. Awful experience for someone who has 20 years with T Mobile. read more

T-Mobile - Mobile Phones Near Me - Riverbank, California

I purchased a phone there that got super hot, called them that same day about it. Next day I asked for an exchange, I just wanted a phone that wont blow up in my ear, but the manager there refused to return it because after using a magnifying glass found a small scratch. accused me of scratching it and trying to exchange it because of a scratch you can only see if you are in bright light. I think it was scratched when I bought it because I had it in a case that it could not of scratched where in that spot. 611 knows he is doing me wrong but can not help because I bought it thru a store, the exchange has to be there. The manager is a rip off and refusing so I now have a brand new phone that is broke and T mobile refuses to work with me. Changing my service and I have been a long time customer there but I just cant be ripped off for that kind of money and continue paying them for a phone I can not use. Basically this store does NOT honor the 14 day return policy. Be aware! read more

Went here to get a 'upgrade' from Metro in August or September. Ever since then we've had NOTHING but issues. The plan was stated that with autopay the phone bill would be $140. however ive been getting charged with $204-205 instead because the workers did not put us on auto pay, we went down to the store 4 times during the whole time we've been on it, we keep telling them to show us or put us on autopay and each time the worker tells us they did but yet we are still getting charged and getting the bill paid late because it says we aren't on autopay. The workers seem nice but I don't understand why they keep brushing my family off from any questions or concerns we have. If you do go to T-Mobile maybe do not go to this one cause they do not seem to listen to their customers enough to help, only doing the bare minimum. read more

Went to this store because it was closeby. Huge disappointment. Ordered the Galaxy Fold 4 but the rep made a mistake and ordered the outdated Galaxy Fold 3. Went back to give them a chance to make things right but they told me they can't do anything now and to contact 611 and go through the return procedure with them. Andrew Crites was so helpful! I am pregnant and was super confused and he took the time to explain everything to me and my husband. He answered all of my annoying questions and helped us get the best plan we could have asked for, going over all of the details. I don't know if we would have walked out with new phones and a new plan if he wouldn't have been so thourough and helpful! We even had issues cancelling our previous provider and he helped us with that after we had to leave the store and come back like three times! Not to mention it was near closing time and he didn't rush us at all. He is a wonderful employee and I will continue to drive from Modesto to Riverbank to do all my tmobile business with him. Kiana was very helpful and kind. My daughters android phone got stolen and I did not have insurance. She really wanted an iPhone and I asked if there were any deals. She got us an iPhone 11 for 50% off which was awesome. Would've spent around the same price for one of the cheaper android phones. I drove here from Modesto, the Oakdale and scenic store is closest to me but I read really bad reviews about how the employees were super rude there. I had a bad experience with their old manager there he made me purchase things i don't need and said its with the purchase of the phone and its free when its not i returned it and still charge me with the monthly service of the device he said he will take care of it and never did .My son saw the charge and so I went back to talk to him and he is no longer there.
