Connectivity is inconsistent and it takes days to get anyone out to fix issues. I feel like the month of December has been nothing but outage notifications. Also, don't depend on the WiFi working in the house! I had to purchase Ethernet cables to plug into the router for any computer to stay connected after upgrading o the $100 plan. And yes, we do have network extenders but even those can't connect most of the time. Shop around for something else before committing to this provider.

    I had Centurylink which became Quantum Fiber and expected the 950 Mbps service I was paying for,…read morebut consistently got speeds closer to 50 Mbps. After multiple complaints, they finally sent a technician out -- only to tell me there was "nothing they could do" and blamed my equipment. The problem? The equipment was actually old CenturyLink equipment that Quantum inherited after acquiring CenturyLink. Even more frustrating, a Quantum representative who came door-to-door promised the equipment would be replaced when the technician visited. I finally cancelled and switched to Xfinity. Now I'm paying $10 less per month, getting free Peacock included, and consistently seeing over 1 Gbps speeds with no issues. Very disappointing experience with Quantum Fiber -- poor troubleshooting, finger-pointing, and no accountability.

    The worst. Horrible customer service. Couldn't even say hello when entering the bldg when 3 of them…read morelooked directly at me. I turned around and left. Not 1 customer in the store yet they were busy with their own conversations.

    This place is extremely inconsistent. one month someone can help with a bill and the next month…read morethat's not allowed and the person from the past shouldn't have done what they did. Be careful of promotions they are not fully transparent and at times directly lie. For example, if you get an ipad or a phone you cannot just pay it off ahead of time, you have also committed to a certain length of time you will pay for the service plan. Say you have a promo ipad, and pay it off and decide surprise you dont use any data and just use it on wifi like most of people - oh well you still have to pay for a certain number of months well after the payment plan ended, for access. Any discounts given like loyalty have 'expiration' dates and if you dont magically know when it expires and call to keep it going, it simply stops being on your account. There is nothing about them that is "independent" and they are not honest. Its unfortunate as I have had some positive service there as well but the underlying practices are unethical. Its a part time job to hold them accountable. The prime reason I would be willing to deal with their trickster fees was the customer service and customer service has degraded significantly. Expectations are reliable cell service and the same bill every month - why is something so simple so incredibly hard for verizon to achieve? Shady shadertons.
