Before deciding to change my service and been wanting to get a new phone (it was very over due I still had the ipXR) I did some research on where to go and glad I found this place. I kept circling back to this particular store based on research and word of mouth. As soon as I walked in they were extremely kind and helpful. I wasn't pressured into jumping into the plan or contract, I was able to weight out my options and top it off I was able to run into a client and friends there which they had a promo that would knock off $100 on top of the other deals I was given! There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. I spoke to Daniel at the front desk who advised that regardless of how many years you have been a loyal customer, there are no upgrade options available. She was told to pick a phone and pay full price and upgrade her plan. She is on a restricted income and this customer service was awful. She has been a customer for 12+ years. This is how T-Mobile treats their long running elderly customer. While the manager hid in the corner because he didn't want to deal with it. I highly recommend you go anywhere else. The service here is so-so. The first time I came here on a Friday afternoon to get my phone replaced and it wasn't busy but unfortunately the replacement was delivered but not in their system so they couldn't get it done. I understand that wasn't their fault. I came back on the following Monday and they seemed to be bit busier. I walked in and was not greeted by anyone as all the workers were busy and helping other customers. I walked around a bit and then sat and waited to see if anyone would check in on me and see if I've been helped. After 20 or so minutes and seeing the employees helping other people who walked in after me instead, I decided to just leave and have T-Mobile ship my replacement to another nearby location. She is very helpful, patient, & her attitude was outstanding. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get a new phone on the spot, but her customer service was A1 & I left within 30-40 mins with a brand new phone. I traded in my XS for an 11. I highly respect businesses that follow the social distancing orders, but it is ridiculous to have a maximum of 10 people in the store. There were 7 employees and 3 customers inside of their store. At first I was going to give them 1 star because I believe that it is inconsiderate for them to have the customers wait, while the majority of the employees were not helping customers. This T-Mobile store is located in the same small plaza as Goodwill (please note this is a donation center only so you cannot buy items here) with limited parking. But being that there isn't much happening in little plaza, parking probably won't be a problem. I came here yesterday afternoon with my husband and our little girl dog (please don't leave your pets inside a hot car). We have had AT&T for over 10 years and decided it is time to change to T-Mobile. We had T-Mobile in the past and so it is good to come back. When we came in, the manager greeted us and placed it on the sign up list. Eventually Richard became free and he helped us sign up for a family plan. He also was able to port over our phone numbers and place a new sim card in my phone. Both the people in the store we interacted with were friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We had a positive experience and would come back here again if we need to take care of any T-Mobile related things in person. Our phone bill will be a little big cheaper and everyone in our family plan will have unlimited data now. Also I look forward to the Tuesday T Mobile deals and also a huge discount on Netflix now. Please note that if you need to use the restroom, an employee can get you a key that you can use. Switching over from Verizon to T-Mobile I started out at the Hastings location. This was a mistake. First guy that hepled me was friendly enough, but didn't explain procedure. Got home and a girl calls from India with a thick accent talking at warp speed. Went back up to Hastings and of course first guy was gone. Ended up with another guy who, I guess, was more into what his next tattoo was going to be then helping me. Never going back there. Next day decided to go to San Gabriel store on Roesmead. Should have done this first. HUGE shout-out to Josh who called Verizon, got my "port-out pin" and got me switched over. With 10 years experience he's the one to look for at this location. I lost my new iPhone the other day and went to this TMobile to see what the process was in getting it replaced. No one acknowledges you as you come in the door so I stood there for a good 10 minutes waiting for someone to help me while two salespeople talked at the back counter. Then when I finally spoke to someone he had no idea what to do and told me that I guess you need to buy a new phone or I can't help you. What? Don't I pay for insurance on my account? He then did not know how to look that up and still had no idea how to help me. Another person had to come and help him and then all they would do is hand me a brochure and said to call in as they would not help me to deal with it there. My husband and I just switched to T-Mobile. The team at this San Gabriel location are super helpful and friendly. Even though we live in Pasadena, my husband and I love coming to this store. Ismael, Willy, Rosi and Leland always greet us with a smile and make sure to answer all our questions. For example, we are 3 months in, and I had a ton of questions about my bills and the charges related to temporary numbers and port-ins. Willy helped me figure it all out yesterday, and we even realized I was overcharged by $25, and he called the billing department to get a credit sorted out right away. We bought new Samsung S9s and glass screen protectors. Definitely buy the insurance on both. It's so worth it. I've had to have the screen protector replaced multiple times already cuz I didn't have a case yet, and they've done so, no questions asked. Personal service every time! Thanks, team! Parking is sometimes difficult. I just park next door or nearby and walk over. They share a parking lot with a Goodwill dropoff and a Kumon class. The service wasn't great . one guy that helped me w the long hair didn't have much customer service skills. Seemed like he just wanted to get it over with. First off he was chewing gum the whole time while he was talking to me which made it hard to understand him when he's making all these chewing noises. Not to mention he looked like he hasn't wash his uniform in a month his shirt look dirty and worn out long story short he just didn't look professional it seemed like he didn't like his job. Dirty beat up shoes pants sagging like he was about to go to the skate park or something his shoes were super dirty along w his work shit. He's was just not very welcoming. There's was another lady there that he was helping b4. She tried to ask him a question but his response was "you can't do? I already showed you how to do it" it was very rude to talk to the customer in that manner. Although he was able to help me w what I needed he came if rude and it just seemed like it was annoying him to have to do his job. But the most annoying part was that he was chewing gum making noise while doing and trying to help costumers at the same time. I'm sorry but I'm probably won't go back to that location again. She was customer service savvy, and she even suggested sold. She suggested sold me a Wi-Fi device which I have been using ever since. I plugged it in my home, excellent customer service was provided me to buy miss Riley to me that day. I'm a quality customer service agent and I review businesses like yours. I'm hoping for Riley that she be either uplifted by this review by your management team. Or that she would be promoted because that is the type of management that you want. Some of the workers here are terribly. incompetent. Jose set up post paid account but did not set up a social security number or a security pass code for the account. I had to call corporate and they told me to go back to the store to give them my social security number. So I drove there back to the store and another associate assisted me. I handed him my physical security card and he said it will take effect in 24 hr. Days later I tried to create an account on the website and it says my social security number does not match their records. I called corporate again and the tech said my social security number was in the form "111-11-1111" and that was why the system did not recognize me. I couldn't believe it. How can the associates here not bother to get it RIGHT the first time time and waste hours of my time. read more

Sales rep Charlie Lara told me the $10/mo insurance was required to participate in the ETF reimbursement program. Thankfully I did my research and found out he was trying to enroll me in the JUMP program and that it is NOT required. That's super shady dude. I wonder how many people he already lied to to get his commission. Edit: I did more research and found out that neither the JUMP nor the upgraded data plan is required for the ETF reimbursement program. I was hoping T-Mobile would have more ethics than my current carrier, but Charlie has shown otherwise by trying to mislead me... Do your research beforehand!
