I usually come to this store for my Amazon returns. I've come on different days and times and it's busy and there's always a line. For the most part it goes by quick. Most of the staff is nice and friendly. They help you with whatever you need. I can tell some are frustrated when they're really busy and there's a long line. The service isn't the best. If you need to print the return label it's only $2.50ish. They also have the option for us to do the return ourselves. I honestly haven't tried it. But it's pretty convenient for people who wouldn't mind doing it themselves. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is small. They share the lot with several other establishments. I don't know WHY this place has a 3.2 stars. I arrived with 6 boxes on a thursday afternoon around 2:30pm. When I entered, there was no customers and 3 staff working. The young asian girl started helping me out. Yes first she didn't smile, but as I started working with her, she started to brighten up. I had 6 different transactions that needed to be made, and she was very patient and helpful. As she was working with me, another staffed entered the room, and he too was bright and cheery! There was no rush, everyone was pleasant. I'd come back again. I've been to many other UPS stores where the store is really stuffy feeling (no air on), very rude and impatient at times even if there are NO customers! But here, I got 3 smiles! I have been to this store many times for returns for my textbooks and it's always busy with a line out of the door and no hustle to accommodate all customers. The experience I had today was there were two workers helping people. So I politely waited. There was an older gentleman sitting on his phone to my left and I assumed he was the owner and only there to supervise a service that they were receiving to the building. I waited for approximately 10 minutes and another man came in with a large package that needed dolly assistance. When that man brought in his package, the older gentleman got up from his seat to help him with shipping. When he saw me watching, he told me to go to a machine to check out my package instead of taking me in the correct order of the line. Luckily someone else opened up right then and assisted me so I didn't make it a big deal, but I felt like that was incredibly racist and bad customer service. This location is by far the WORST ups store I have ever visited. The employees were rude, unhelpful, and refused to provide the service my friend and I requested. Not only was I refused service (because I requested my packages to be properly weighed), but they made a condescending "tsk" noise in response to my request as it was quote, unquote, "inconvenient" for them. It is NOT that difficult to weigh 6 small packages and get the proper weight. There is absolutely no point in getting a drop-off package receipt if the weight displays as 0 lb 0.0 oz. Did I mention that we were instructed to step aside for customers behind us despite waiting in line like everyone else? Apparently weighing 6 small packages is too demanding and the staff wanted to prioritize the customers who came after us ... Has been visiting this store for over 10 years even since last owner, now the owner is Korean and with Chinese supervisor(a 40 years old man with black frame glass) Last week I called the supervisor regarding a rude employee tried to lied to me about not taking any USPS packages until I told her I visited this store even much earlier than she came to work here, I know there is no receipt when you drop off usps packages but totally fine for me. She stared at me and threw my package badly to the floor that shocked me. The supervisor answered the phone call but didn't help at all: always tried to get rid of any responsibility and accused some customers requested for receipts instead, which was not the point I was asking. Yesterday when I went to the store again I saw the supervisor and talked to him about this again, he suddenly changed his face and stopping smile, looked another direction, very disrespectful and belligerent, when I asked again if he cared about employee's rudeness in this store, he said he didn't care and that's it. I was totally shocked how rude this man was and not surprised that his employees are acting ruder and ruder nowadays. UPS Arcadia owner: your manager doesn't care about your business and thought people has no choice to visit your store since you are so only one in south&west Arcadia, things will change if more and more people complained about your employee's rudeness in the near future, and you have no right to insult any customers. Let me preface this by stating that most bad reviews on here complain about the speed of shipping, where I think the fault lies with UPS' logistics itself rather than the branch stores. Still, they could play a part in those poor shipping processes, but those complaints are mostly unfounded. I have also been to this UPS store to conduct business about 5-6 times. Now, with that out of the way: The customer service is not abhorrent, but the experience I've had is unacceptable. If you're there just to drop off a package or two for your Amazon return, then by all means, go to this store. But if you ship things frequently-and especially in medium to large quantities, you will find the employees here to be passive-aggressive, rude, and argumentative. The first time was to ship about 5-6 packages and upon asking for the weight, employee made a sour face. The second time, the employees (think one of them was also the manager, or at least a higher-up) got argumentative and even said in the future that they will refuse to provide weighing services in the future. By the way, not all employees at the store are like this. A month ago before this review I went and dropped off some Amazon returns and pursued some inquiries, in which the employees there were extremely friendly and helpful. TL;DR is that if this is the only store that's near you and you just need to drop off some light packages for shipping / returns, then this store is fine. If you want to consistently ship things and/or weigh packages because of insurance claims, the employees will first give you an attitude, then do it for you as long as it does not inconvenience them or require them to do their actual job as a parcel service and shipping company. read more

beware they tried to get extra from your pocket on 2/21/2024, around 10:15am. I tried to return my order to amazon through UPS delivery. An old woman denied my package due to it is amazon box and suggested me to purchase their simple plastic bag (no bubble inside) for around $1.xx. I rejected and said my package box exactly the same as their ups package box with the size of 6x6x6. she changed the conversation content and said that ups box they offer is more safe for my item and its different than mine package box. and changed the attitude from denied my package to 'just up to me' if i insisted to shipped with my package but threat no guarantee the item inside will be safe. i just curious - 1. If you drop off a package with a label paid for through the UPS online site prepare for them to charge your account additional fees for no other reason than to get a piece of what they didn't get at the store location. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Manager Rick said can't do anything about it but to eat up the cost. Didn't know that was their motto for disservice. I had a package go out Easter as a gift for my relatives in New York, but because she was working overtime she wasn't able to pick it up. The first two packages got there just fine, but the third one the driver neglected to drop the package at an access point causing it to be returned to me. Entirely, I wasted $40.00 and my package was returned with no refunds. Even the workers there said that sometimes packages containing laptops were lost. This just shows the quality of service, since even their own employees admit to shipments not getting to where they need to be I write this review from the heart, since my surprise didn't arrive on time and I lost $40.00 I advise anyone who uses UPS to reconsider using another source. read more
