Yet again t Mobil screwed over a long time customer , the insurance us a joke they give you broken phones to replace yours if it needs replaced! I've yet to ever recieve a phone without something being wrong with it this last time I got one with a bad battery and I still had my old one because they could not put the data over for some reason and said I had to go to apple, I did not have time , so they had one ordered for me to pick up at the store I went there they said it would take too long so I told then I'd be back the next day and not to send it back , I returned the next day and guess what they had sent it back , my phone dropped at thier store and broke , I did not know till I got home because it was the back of the phone which now is in the front too because they. Said they would charge me 200 dollars to fix the broken phone before I could get another peaced together used one , what the f@&k is insurance for ? This place caused me to loose my job after extorting 800 dollars out of me because I still had the old phone which I returned and lost all my info they say I still owe them for fuc@ ing me over? Great customer service ! Not don't waste money on insurance but a used phone don't waste cash it don't grow on trees and I don't want an android again! I need my phone for work and it's broken and does not take photos which I need it to do anyone have an older one they want to sell possibly? The absolute worst. I purchased hotspot with data plan. Returned within 3 days. Paid the restocking fee and whatever taxs fees and balances remaining. The employee who helped me ensured that it was over and done with. I am now over a year down the line and still receiving random bills and fees that I have attempted to pay and close off. A total scam. I have spent well over 150$ for 3 days of terrbible hotspot. If you deal with any returns or cancellations my best advice is to document every conversation and name of the employee you speak with. This is like a never ending contract. read more

Went to T Mobile on Marina Blvd in San Leandro. Walked in at 6pm on a Monday. Told an employee I had a very simple question. Immediately, the employee said it was a 60 minute wait and please have a seat. I couldn't wait that long, so I decided to drive over to the T Mobile store at Bay Fair Mall in San Leandro. Within 5 minutes, a worker came over, asked how he could help, and within 3 minutes, fixed this minor issue I was having with my phone. Now, that's service. Won't be going back to the T Mobile store on Marina Blvd. again. If you have to wait an hour for service at any business, that means they need to hire more employees to accommodate the volume of customers. The T Mobile on Marina Blvd should learn this lesson. read more

Stopped by my T-Mobile store on Park St in Alameda on a recent T-Mobile Tuesday and found out that since it was not a corporate store, they were not offering the flashlight promotion. Since I was heading down to the South Bay, I was told that I could stop by the San Leandro store since it was a corporate location. It's located in the Marina Square shopping center to the left of the Nike store. The store is larger than the Alameda location and I showed the promo on my app to the worker and hit Redeem and I got my flashlight. I was not aware that some locations are not corporate ones. If I need to go to one, I will be coming to this store in San Leandro. read more

Been trying to do a warranty exchange for over two months. I visited the store 8/30 was assisted by Ramon. He was helpful. Was told the phone would arrive in two days however, be mindful of the holiday weekend. I was cool with that. I called again every week to check to see if the phone was there. Nothing - last week I called and was informed that there wasn't even a tracking number for my phone so it would still be a few days. COOL Today I realized that I would be in the area so I figured I'd see if the phone had arrived. I called and it was there YAYYYY I head over to the store - YAYYYY the team member Piscey has the phone in box she, takes my ID she's getting everything ready. BAM there's something on the screen she needs help. Then she brings over Danny who, looks at the screens he tries a few options, he's checks in with someone else. NOTHING. He lets me know that the case has been exchange has been closed because it was placed over two weeks ago. This makes no sense because they haven't even had the phone for a week, so the system automatically closes it. - he offers that the only thing he could do is put in another claim and that he will keep a close eye on it because he's putting it in. Which I frankly think is BS - because not once did he try to contact someone outside the store to say hey this phone just arrived, the customer is here, how could we make this right. It wasn't my fault, I had been calling and calling. It wasn't his fault either but the truth is if it's this much out of his control why put in another claim if he can't manage tracking and package delivery??? Why not try to utilize the phone that was intended for me? Anyway his matter of factly attitude was completely unsatisfactory. I have his word no documentation - NOTHING. I get they were dealing with other customers but does not mean they could not say "I'll be right with you" or something. I got sent to this T-Mobile store from a different T-mobile in San Leandro because "the Marina location has techs." When I got to this location, the employee told me "they only fix sprint phones" and that I should just "factory reset my phone because that usually solves the problem." I have insurance for my phone so I called, and they told me I should have been attended in-person by T-Mobile staff-they're supposed to call tech and help customers trouble shoot their phones. Bottom line, I'm not impressed by T-Mobile customer service thus far, these guys will take the easy way out if they can. read more

My husband and I was in desperate need of an iPhone upgrade to the new 12 pro max w/ free 5G and she answered all our questions with ease and even visually demonstrated how the new power cords worked. We bought the Tmobile screen protector because they have a guarantee to replace it. Of course I would drop my new iPhone literally the day after I got it and was so upset that the screen was already broken. Took it back to Catherine the very next day and she replaced it within 10 minutes for FREE and discovered it was only the screen protector that was broken and not my actual new iPhone screen! So yesterday I went back to T-Mobile to get my phone fixed....I went there on 10/22/20 and was told to fix my phone it would be $100 yesterday I go and they're telling me its $200 or $205. WTF?? No one knows what the other person is saying or doing. No wonder this place has such a low rating on YELP. He busy trying to find out who told me the mis-communication instead of trying to help me get my issue resolved. Then the guy/rep starts talking to me about upgrading...pay the phone off and upgrade....so now you're not trying to help me get my phone fix but lock me into another contract uugghh! So i went yesterday 5.10.21 in the afternoon with my husband and my son that's only 2 years old. when we got there a young girl who helped us didn't catch her name, but was really understandable, really nice, had patients with us looking at phones her manger (didn't catch her name also) but she looked Asian with black hair and some highlight balayage came up to us with some attitude saying my son had to have a mask on not even said it in a nice way. Like come on a 2 year old is not going to want to keep the mask on there kids! So i put it on him and he kept taking it off and she kept coming over saying he had to wear it or he couldn't be there. I got fed up so fast with her so i started giving her attitude also. She acted like she owned T-Mobile and that my son had fucking Covid or some she was to damn worried about him not having a mask. If she would came with a better attitude then things would of been different. But no she wanted to be damn BITCH about it. So i wasn't going to keep on putting the mask on my son to please her with that attitude. She kept saying if you guys go to another T-Mobile store they not going help you since you a sprint customer they going turn you down. I don't know how she is a so Call manager she is a joke that's what she is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER going to the T-Mobile at the Marina well guess what..... We drove to the one in pleasant on Johnson Drive and trust me Best Customer Service they helped us out a lot my husband got the phone he wanted and for cheaper and they never asked me to put a mask on my son because they even said it there self its hard for kids that age to put on the mask because they don't understand what's going on.
