She went over every option to get me the best deal and discounts. My current plan was better than the ones offered. So I kept the current plan. Today, the Assistant store mgr Brian assisted me. He was great! He had just finished with a customer when I walked in. Actually I met him a week ago when I came in regarding a possible upgrade. I did not get his name . Like I said just needed help removing an annoying pop up. He asked that I do a review while charging my phone. When I arrived the next day, everything went well. I had to wait a little longer than promised, but my phone was intact and functioning. However, a almost a month later the screen shows a green line that gradually gets bigger each day. I took it back and they would not replace the screen. Instead, they suggest I buy another screen free of labor fees. The son insisted I dropped the phone or caused damage, yet you see in the photos no damage occurred.

When I returned, nothing had actually been changed. My phone still showed the exact same battery health (83%), and there was no system message indicating that any battery had been replaced. That was the first red flag. When I questioned it and asked the technician to open the phone in front of me, he refused and told me to come back the next day. That lack of transparency immediately made me uncomfortable. The next day, after insisting, the situation became even more suspicious. I was shown a battery that supposedly came from my phone, but it had specifications that didn't even match my device (wrong capacity, no Apple branding). That raised serious concerns about honesty and professionalism. At one point, when I stepped away briefly, the technician suddenly "completed" the battery replacement. This time, my phone immediately displayed a notification saying the battery was not recognized as genuine. That clearly showed that the previous visit, no replacement had been done at all. In the end, I requested my original battery back and had it reinstalled because I no longer trusted the parts or the service. Once reinstalled, my phone went back to showing the original 83% battery health, confirming that it was indeed my original battery all along. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. A customer should never have to question whether a service was actually performed or not. Transparency and honesty are essential in this type of business, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. When I arrived there were customers standing around waiting for assistance. The mgr finally asked what brought me in today. I explained the situation and he stated he would need a copy of the POA in order to add me as an authorized agent or user. I had the POA but had to wait for assistance. There were 5 customers ahead of me. So I figured they had all been helped and just waiting for their phone. 30 min turned into 90 min before someone finally assisted me. Other customers were getting aggravated that no one had come back to check on them. Most were requesting upgrades, accessories, and status of orders . From what I observed, there were 5 staff members working the floor. One was new so she had no idea what she was doing. She was signing everyone in and informed them the wait was approximately 90 min to 2hrs. Some left others added their name for call back. I understand every customer deserves your undivided attention but when you have a floor full of customers and there are only 5 staff members you must have a plan to assist your customers. No customer should be waiting 60 to 90 min before they're taken care of. After the first 6 customers were taken care of the mgr disappeared. Not sure if he was on break or lunch but he could have told us and that someone else will assist us. I asked where was the mgr bc he initially told me he would assist me. The new staff member just said oh he's in the back . So I asked another member to assist me. He pulled up my dad's account and added me to the account. Confirmed the delivery of his phone. I was told this location is the only corporate location in the area. Hopefully I will not have to visit this location again. They were all nice but customer service was poor. The funny thing about it is the manager is the one who knows the least and lies the most. I took my phone in to explore an upgrade, but was told the phone I wanted wouldn't accept my current SIM card. The manager then asked to see my phone, an while I was standing there he took the my SIM card out of my phone and tried to insert it into the other phone. He was right the SIM card wouldn't fit in the other phone. so he set my phone down and put everything back together with the new phone and re-boxed it then he put my old phone back together. I didn't notice anything wrong but when I got home later I tried to use my phone for the 1st time since leaving the store and kept getting an error message that said I had the wrong SIM card inserted. I figured the manager must have made a mistake when he took my SIM card out and must have mistakenly put back in the wrong one that was lying around on the counter. I went backup to the store, to what I figured would be a quick switch and give me back my original SIM card after seeing the obvious mistake. But when I returned and explained what had happen. the first thing the manager did was started yelling saying, I never steal your SIM card. I said, I didn't say you had stole it, but he kept yelling and then said he had never touched my phone at all. I said are you crazy what do you mean you never touched my phone, Then all of a sudden he couldn't speak English anymore and said he was calling the police because he was feeling threatened. How ridiculous I never raised my voice once, but because I was an African American male he played the I feel threatened card. So I explained the situation to the officer who pretty much agreed with me, that it makes no sense if your phone worked when you arrived but now says, wrong SIM card inserted, that something when wrong. But explained that it was a civil matter and I needed to file a complaint in small claims. So the manager of Boost mobile stole or mishandled my SIM card containing all my pictures, documents, and all personal information. I am at a total loss and pissed. When I told my friend about what happened to me, he told me he had a similar problem with this same guy and had to go to another store to get his phone number back. He said if he had known I was going there he would have warned me that would be a big mistake. Their is another Boost right down the road on hwy124 in Centerville about 10 minutes away, go there and save yourself a lot of heartache.
