When I returned, nothing had actually been changed. My phone still showed the exact same battery health (83%), and there was no system message indicating that any battery had been replaced. That was the first red flag. When I questioned it and asked the technician to open the phone in front of me, he refused and told me to come back the next day. That lack of transparency immediately made me uncomfortable. The next day, after insisting, the situation became even more suspicious. I was shown a battery that supposedly came from my phone, but it had specifications that didn't even match my device (wrong capacity, no Apple branding). That raised serious concerns about honesty and professionalism. At one point, when I stepped away briefly, the technician suddenly "completed" the battery replacement. This time, my phone immediately displayed a notification saying the battery was not recognized as genuine. That clearly showed that the previous visit, no replacement had been done at all. In the end, I requested my original battery back and had it reinstalled because I no longer trusted the parts or the service. Once reinstalled, my phone went back to showing the original 83% battery health, confirming that it was indeed my original battery all along. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. A customer should never have to question whether a service was actually performed or not. Transparency and honesty are essential in this type of business, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking to see the repair done in front of you if you decide to come here.

Special warning to all…read morewho care about their phone, don't come to this Boost Mobile store at 2274 A Snellville Plaza, Main St E, Snellville, GA 30078. The funny thing about it is the manager is the one who knows the least and lies the most. I took my phone in to explore an upgrade, but was told the phone I wanted wouldn't accept my current SIM card. The manager then asked to see my phone, an while I was standing there he took the my SIM card out of my phone and tried to insert it into the other phone. He was right the SIM card wouldn't fit in the other phone. so he set my phone down and put everything back together with the new phone and re-boxed it then he put my old phone back together. I didn't notice anything wrong but when I got home later I tried to use my phone for the 1st time since leaving the store and kept getting an error message that said I had the wrong SIM card inserted. I figured the manager must have made a mistake when he took my SIM card out and must have mistakenly put back in the wrong one that was lying around on the counter. I went backup to the store, to what I figured would be a quick switch and give me back my original SIM card after seeing the obvious mistake. But when I returned and explained what had happen. the first thing the manager did was started yelling saying, I never steal your SIM card. I said, I didn't say you had stole it, but he kept yelling and then said he had never touched my phone at all. I said are you crazy what do you mean you never touched my phone, Then all of a sudden he couldn't speak English anymore and said he was calling the police because he was feeling threatened. How ridiculous I never raised my voice once, but because I was an African American male he played the I feel threatened card. So I explained the situation to the officer who pretty much agreed with me, that it makes no sense if your phone worked when you arrived but now says, wrong SIM card inserted, that something when wrong. But explained that it was a civil matter and I needed to file a complaint in small claims. So the manager of Boost mobile stole or mishandled my SIM card containing all my pictures, documents, and all personal information. I am at a total loss and pissed. When I told my friend about what happened to me, he told me he had a similar problem with this same guy and had to go to another store to get his phone number back. He said if he had known I was going there he would have warned me that would be a big mistake. Their is another Boost right down the road on hwy124 in Centerville about 10 minutes away, go there and save yourself a lot of heartache.

    So I had received a Target gift card for Christmas and just so happened to run completely out of…read morecat food, so I decided to venture out tonight. Note to self: never go out to shop the day after Christmas again! Everyone was flooding the store trying to make returns/exchanges and probably just looking for last minute post-holiday deals as well as using gift cards they had received. I decided to go to this location for the first time, as I was already in the area. I usually go to the Peachtree Corners location and prefer that one, as it is usually dead even post-pandemic. In any case, everything seemed well-stocked. I found the wet and dry cat food I needed without any issue. When I made it to the self-checkout area I was redirected to the end of a huge line that was wrapping around to the end of the store. So if you wanted a cashier or to self-checkout it was all just one big line. I was almost ready to give up when I saw how many people were waiting, however, I am glad I didn't because the line actually moved a lot quicker than you would think. I spent about 15 minutes total from wait to checkout time to be out of the store. That's faster than waiting in the self-checkout line at Walmart Jimmy Carter or Walmart Duluth, I know that much. Those can take a good half hour sometimes. So I can't really complain I guess lol. It was an okay location, but I'm guessing because of the complex they are in and being right off a major intersection they are still usually this busy no matter what. I would come back if I had to, it's just a little out of my way and busier than I like, but overall not bad.
