Before I went to this T Mobile store I had visited 2 other stores to get assistance regarding the issue I was having on. The issue was when I left Verizon and transferred my accounts to T Mobile there was some balance for each phone that needed to be paid off. Sure enough T Mobile support did guide with the steps on how to individually request funds for each line to be paid off. What I didn't know was that each line was on a different plan. My wife's and I were just transferring lines over and our daughters line were to switch phones and transferring. Very minute detail but complicated for a person who had no clue that the steps were different. I was getting anxious because the end date of transfer from Verizon to Tmobile was coming and Verizon stuck me with my last bill of over $1600 plus and the funds from Tmobile hadn't come through. I went to Tmobile in Fullerton and La Habra and they were busy and they told me I had to try it online because they couldn't help me. I tried my last luck in Whittier T Mobile at Whittwood Mall. I was greeted by Ms. Judas. She was so kind and patient even though they were twice as busy as the previous stores I had gone prior. She listened to my issues and asked me if she could borrow my phone. She stayed with me and analyzed what was wrong with the refund and realized I had inputted the wrong refund codes for each line. She navigated pretty quickly and told me it was done after 30 minutes. She said the refund would be available within a week. I was stunned. I was so surprised and thankful. As we were finishing the issue I asked her about T Mobiles wifi program and she gladly answered in detail the price and terms. I was so moved with her helping me graciously with the transfer of phones that I signed up with T Mobile WiFi program too mind you I was with Spectrum internet for over 10 years. If you guys have any issues or want to add a line or get something done I strongly encourage you to look for Ms. Judas. What an awesome human being for just being a customer friendly service person. Been here several times to get my privacy screen replaced once broken per my plan. They work so slowly and don't greet everyone right away. The first few times someone was able to get to me quickly within the first 10 minutes and get my screen replaced. The screen process only takes like 1-2 minutes. Today, they said it would be a 20 minute wait. Okay, fine. Waited for 40-50 mins so far and I asked some woman worker if someone can just quickly replace my screen. Offering no apology or anything, she doesn't even look sorry, she goes "yeah.. you're still going to have to wait" and walks away. It's ridiculous if I just want to replace my privacy screen. It's hardly worth it to wait almost an hour for a replacement screen protector per the screen replacement plan. read more

i joined 4 months ago for just my own phone plan, and i recently looked at my phone bill and the details..says i was paying for a apple watch line that i wasn't even aware of this whole time. the tmobile expert who helped me Valarie, obviously scammed me out of my money and i went back to the store to ask questions about it .. to that same tmobile expert VALARIE and she gave me her contact info so she can fix the problem with her manager and to update me when im going to get my store credit back for that watch line.. never happened.. never communicated with me about it, i texted her multiple times asking for an update. Im also paying for a privacy screen protector and they replaced my screen protector with a regular screen protector and i know that, thats not allowed according to corporate who i spoke to about this :) so be careful with who helps you with your phone plans and what they put on it because i rather have wanted a whole watch than store credit back. don't come here guys! read more

Absolutely awful customer service. If you want a good experience, avoid this store. I was directed here by T-Mobile's customer service over the phone to return my trade-in phones in person, so I could receive immediate credit rather than mailing them and waiting for a week or two. When I arrived at the store on a Saturday afternoon, there were no other customers. Three sales reps were sitting at a table, chatting amongst themselves, and didn't acknowledge me. After a few moments, I walked over to their table, and two of them got up and left, while the remaining one just stared at me with a look of annoyance. I told him I was there to return trade-in phones, but he didn't seem to understand. I asked if this was a corporate store and if they could process my trade-ins. He confirmed both and then started checking my account. After a moment, he told me he couldn't accept the return. I explained that the T-Mobile rep had specifically told me to come to this store to do the return in person, but he didn't respond, just pointing at his tablet and saying he only had retail access and couldn't process trade-ins through the system. Confused, I told him I didn't understand the issue, especially since the T-Mobile rep had told me corporate stores could accept trade-ins. He repeated the same thing without offering any solutions or attempting to contact anyone else for assistance. Frustrated, I left and headed to the T-Mobile store in Rowland Heights. Even though they were busy, a rep greeted me right away and immediately offered to help. She took my phones, processed the returns efficiently, and though it took some time to check the condition of the phones, everything was handled with courtesy and professionalism. Now, I think I understand why the Whittier store turned me away - they just didn't want to deal with the effort of processing the trade-ins. read more

Went in on 12/15/25, my phone stopped working, completely, wait time was bad I get it it's holiday season plus late afternoon, they gave me a 30 min window, but it was close to an hour, finally I'm up, I get a person that honestly was not good at their job I will get his name too, he wasn't able to offer me any deals, and my phone had been paid off, I saw that I was able to get an upgrade, but stated I wasn't eligible, was offering me a iPhone 15, because I wasn't eligible for an iPhone 17, couldn't give me any explanation other "I don't know" I made a comment that Verizon had good deals and offering a new phone, his comment was "yea they are, you should go there" then proceeded to say he used to work at Costco and would tell people to switch carriers every 2 years. I was a loyal T-Mobil carrier, but after last night not anymore, Verizon did in fact give me a better deal plus an iPhone 17 pro. T-Mobile ya'll need to do better read more

I went into T-Mobile today to change responsibly on the account and adding 2 new lines for each of my kids. I thought it would be a simple transfer however once I arrived to the store they let me know I had to call 611 and do the change over the phone. The process took over an hour to complete! The process was complex to say the least but the mobile expert that assisted my family and I was truly amazing. Her name was Valerie, she was so kind and patient with me and my complex case. I was truly grateful to have her advocate for me when speaking to the representatives on the 611 call. She's very knowledgeable and offered alternate solutions to ensure the outcome was successful. If you need help with getting things sorted out I would highly recommend getting in touch with her. read more

I walked in kind of a mess (the type of gal that rambles forever and always worries about everything), but they treated me with so much kindness and patience. They were super sweet, very transparent, and made sure to confirm every little detail I needed. What usually feels like a stressful and sticky situation ended up being so comfortable and even fun thanks to them. I'm sorry to say, because I normally never leave bad reviews but this one got to me yesterday. You have to really try to have terrible service, and if the client isn't having a good day and then as a customer service rep you should go a little bit out of your way to help them because those who are having a bad day if you help them to flip their mood, they will be YOUR client for life. I've been doing sales I love years to know that this check doesn't care. She was extremely disconnected, attitude, only slightly helpful pretty much the bare minimum. Remind her, people don't buy the protection plan all the time and then break their phone, when they come in for a new one don't rub it in their face and keep saying yeah this is why you should get the protection plan. I get it you're on sales commission and to make a lot of money when selling extra products including adding services such as the protection plan but you don't need to remind customers and keep jabbing them over and over about the protection plan you only need to tell them once if you know how to do your freaking job. This T-Mobile sucks I was looking for a friend of mine and he wasn't there and this reminds me why I should've waited. read more

Be careful with them and the insurance they have if you still have yours. They screwed me over 600 when we had a deal in place to prevent from happening. It did after I was told it wouldn't, that was over 4 days ago I've spoken to multiple team members and even talked to assurant. They told me to basically eat di** for two months. Basically told me that my family being impacted my this doesn't matter. Lack of remorse or response even though I'm taking other financial hits from this. It was money not supposed to be spent, it was spoken for. As I told the call agent. Now they can care less and I was advised to "sell some things" Horribly disgusting. Stay away from them. If you have a phone already mint mobile is dramatically cheaper as I've done my research. Now I'm going to continue to spread the word. I hope no one ever has to go through what I went through with them. There was far more things impacted but this isn't the place to unload all this. Kenley, an employee at this Whittier store, brought hope back into my phone life after a week of pursuing unfruitful assistance through the T-mobile helpline, website chat, social media DMs, and even the La Mirada store. I was so frustrated and about to give up on T-Mobile and switch to another provider because I bought a new phone through Tmobile/Sprint and the actual phone call function wasn't working no matter what every technician tried. (SIM cards, ESIMs, network resets, factory resets .. you name it. And although some of them were nice and sympathetic, many of the call technicians were rather condescending and impatient and downright rude, so it wasn't a pleasant time working through all of it.) Kenley spent a looong time on hold with their own tech service and after an hour and a half of intensive research and tests, he found the solution (he changed my phone number to a new number and then changed it back.. and miraculously it worked after that). I am SO SO grateful for all Kenley's help and on top of that he FIXED the problem that absolutely nobody else could, and all with a friendly attitude. Thank you Kenley! You deserve a raise! Hope I never have to come back but if I do I will definitely come to the Whittier store! :D read more

The salesperson named Destiny is a dishonest salesperson. She misinformed us and told us that we were obligated to purchase Apple care and the USB-C port due to changes that Apple had supposedly made if we were purchasing an upgraded iPhone. This was discovered to be a lie. Do not trust this person. Apple care is an added product and Apple would never obligate you to purchase an ancillary product. She has no business being in sales if she is lacking the integrity that one needs to gain the trust of their customers. read more

DISHONEST SALES PERSON DESTINY Came in to purchase and Iphone and was assisted by Destiny. She began to tell the costs of how much it would be per month and explained how it'll cost me $52 a month to finance. On t mobile's website it says that it'll be $34 a month and when this was mentioned to her she quickly replied that the extra would be for the apple coverage. I did not want apple coverage and told her I wouldn't add it but she said that apple made a policy where you are forced to pay for the coverage for 3 months and then you could cancel. Trusting T mobile since i've been a customer for years I agreed to paying $52 a month for 3 months. She then stated later on that in 4 months you can take it off? This is what had me question if what she was saying was true but of course trusting this company I went along and got my phone and left. She also sold me a charger adapter and I explained that I had one at home already but she said I wouldn't have it since it only works for Iphone 15 chargers and it wouldn't be possible for me to have it. I went home and checked and yes my adapter worked for the charger so I decided to return the one I just bought. I began to question about the apple care so I called another T mobile and they explained how apple care is OPTIONAL not something you have to get! This is upsetting because it seems like the company only cares about making sales and not valuing the customers experience. She even tried adding in a screen protector to my cost when I had mentioned already I wasn't gonna purchase. Of course I ended up going back to the store to tell them something and I swore not to ever come back for business but Valerie completely changed my viewpoint for the Whittwood location. She was so helpful and truthful which makes me feel comfortable coming back but only to her! Valerie also helped fixed this situation! She definitely cares more about how the customers experience is rather than making a sale so I highly recommend if you go into this store ask for her!! If I could give zero stars I would. I came in today with my fiancé because he needs to update his phone now that T-Mobile bought out Sprint. Upon arrival we were acknowledged & we proceeded to look around. We were in the store for a few minutes & once my man figured out which phone he wanted we got in line. We were then approached by an employee that asked for my name to add me to a waiting list. I thought to myself wth, if there is a waiting list I should've been added upon arrival when I stated we came to get a phone. There were multiple employees working today. Comes across as unorganized, but the employee that made this visit a bad one (short in stature, short haired, darker skinned Hispanic male) while telling me to add me to a waiting list says there's a customer ahead of me & I recall arriving before this customer. My fiancé & I were already in the line to buy the phone. The employee was rude (negative body language ie eye rolling) & made a comment saying "We're all adults in here" in a condescending way. Like duh obviously we're adults, wth does being adults have anything to do with being unorganized & rude? this comment was quite uncalled for. Another male customer overhead this interaction & was appalled just like us for this employees unprofessional demeanor. I check in at 1:22 p.m., since they were so busy I had to ask the associate where to sign in and a random lady interrupted us and sad oh I was here and I have been waiting. nowaday is not rare that people don't have common sense, or they thought they are too outstanding to be noticed so she was just standing there. oh well I said well you can sign her in first I wouldn't mind. on the tablet it shows the wait time is 52 minutes, I asked is that wait time accurate? should I come back 40 minutes after? the associates say yes it is accurate so I went to Vons to get some groceries and come back exactly 40 minutes after. I was greet by Tony, the mobile expert. I came here because my sister's SIM card has some problem it says network not registered on her phone. Tony take a look at her phone did the software update, and at the T-Mobile network on her phone is still wouldn't work and he got her a new SIM card for free. now my sister's phone's software is up to date and now she can send message and receive calls. Tony takes time to diagnose her phone and he was very nice and polite. I also work in the service industry and T-Mobile has a huge clientele and they get busy. when I see that everybody's are busy I wouldn't expect to be noticed when I walked in. We had an awesome experience at T-Mobile Miguel Alvarez was great. My wife and I came in to upgrade 1 phone but Miguel found the best rate and plan to fit our budget. He wasn't up selling for his benefit he was genuinely looking out for us. We ended up trading my wife's old phone, upgraded our 2 sons phones for free! Getting home internet for 35$ and even walked away with 2 iwatches.....the new plan didn't break the bank. Ask for Miguel...he won't disappoint! read more

Needed to get a screen repaired, didn't have insurance and was prepared to pay out of pocket. Didn't want to go to a third party that uses after market parts. Reached out to customer service with options, they were kind enough to set a repair appt at this location. We went in, and were told by Nathan that T Mobile did not "have the equipment" to repair the phone without insurance. This was a flat out lie. We referred him to notes from our call w/ customer service, which he "couldn't locate." We showed him our email transcript with customer service, he refused to read it. Nathan showed absolutely no effort to try and help resolve the matter and would only tell us to "call customer service." Just, "our system is not set up to allow us to fix your phone and let you pay out of pocket if you don't have insurance." It was like interacting with a bot that just can't compute options outside of a very narrowly defined A or B. Having worked in customer service, I understand that sometimes systems and processes are not always the most well thought out. And when a system or process is obviously DOESN'T work, you put your thinking cap on and troubleshoot, reach out to supervisors and resources within the company to address the solution. Nathan did the opposite. He refused to use critical thinking skills, he refused to reach out to resources within the company he works for and and he refused to provide basic customer service. read more

Then when you say Wendy chooses to argue in front of the assistant manager with allows it. You're buying an IPhone 14 Pro and products yet not one apology.
