Wow worst service ever thanks to their employee named Christian. He literally told me to leave and refused service. All I wanted to do was return the internet equipment. Unfortunately I didn't have my account number and Christian didn't want to help. I asked if he can help me look up my account so I can return the equipment. I don't usually write reviews, but the service at the T-Mobile store in Yorba Linda was so bad that I feel like people deserve a warning. This location constantly has only one employee working, and it shows. The staff member there wouldn't answer any of my questions. Every single thing I asked -- simple account questions, basic service questions -- I was told to "call 611, we can't answer that here." It honestly felt like they weren't interested in helping at all. The only thing they were willing to do was sell me a phone. Anything else? "Call customer service." If I wanted to just call customer service, I wouldn't have wasted my time going into the store. It's extremely frustrating when you visit a carrier store expecting help, and instead get treated like an inconvenience. Terrible service, zero support, and absolutely not worth the trip. T-Mobile refused to close my account because I no longer had my dead mom's cell phone so I couldn't see the text they were trying to send me. They forced me to go into this store to close the account. Then I find out T-Mobile closed my previous account and opened a new one without my consent and enabled auto-pay and electronic billing so I had no idea this was done. The reason being, I didn't transfer my mom's number to Verizon. I explained to her I didn't transfer her number because she is dead. I asked to see the invoice and she only printed the first couple of pages. I noticed they didn't even bother to pro rate the invoice. To make matters even worse, she tells me I need to come back to the store on June 3rd to see if I "owe" any other amounts. Not only is T-Mobile's cell service still horrible, now their customer service is terrible too. They have questionable business practices and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

My mother went to this location to have her watch synced to her new phone. The rep not only didn't help her, he fraudulently changed our account so we lost all credits and promotions we were grandfathered into. DO NOT go to this location, go to a company store. It took us over a day to get it fixed and, if we wouldn't have caught it the day it happened, we would not have been able to get it back. I had a terrible and costly experience at this store. I wasted over 2.5 hours going back and forth twice, yet the issue was still not resolved. The store associates lacked experience and were incredibly disappointing to deal with--rude, intimidating, and disrespectful. The environment was neither welcoming nor helpful. To make matters worse, both Apple Watch accounts are now compromised. One of the associates even insulted me, forcing me to leave with anger, upset, disappointment and feel unvalued consumer. I will have to perhaps switch to different courier! Terrible customer service with rude and disrespectful associates. My wife, two kids, and I visited the store to fix our kids' watches, which have two cell numbers. Despite the store being nearly empty, we spent 45 minutes in the afternoon with no resolution. While the associate was working on the issue, we moved around the store, and she told me not to move because her manager didn't like it--claiming that my movement could trigger a customer in their system and affect their performance. Ridiculous. We had to return because the issue remained unresolved, and this time, we spent over 90 minutes dealing with associates who had bad attitudes, lacked experience, and had poor communication skills. They even told my child not to move when he simply wanted water, forcing us to go next door to get some--again blaming the manager. After an incredibly long wait, one of the associates spoke to my wife in a way that made her upset, leading to a heated exchange. She felt insulted, and we ultimately had to leave. Writing this review on behalf of my dad. He went into this retail store to replace a phone with a broken screen. While in the store, the Manager on duty, Britney, was extremely rude & had terrible customer service. Britney was misleading, offered additional accessories for "free"; only to find out they were charged. When my dad & his wife returned to the store to question the misleading sale; Britney became irate & asked my dad & his wife to leave the store & even threatened to call security. My father is an elderly man in his mid 70's & this terrible experience affected greatly. read more

I went in today to do a data transfer from my old phone to the new iPhone 17pro that I purchased online with T-Mobile. Jonny helped and provided great customer service! The only complaint I have about the store is that there is no where to sit. There was one seat that was occupied while I was there. All of the T-Mobiles I have ever been to had seating for there customers. It was disappointing not being able to sit down while waiting for my phone to be activated. Please add stools for customers. Got a new phone, Jose was great, their on sight customer service was very good. However a week later I got insurance paperwork indicating I had signed up. Reminded me of Wells Fargo and unsigned up for CC received. Can't cancel over the phone without a 15 didgit pin number which I don't have and don't want. Easily cancelled in store with no issues except gas and a little time. Not sure if the store signed me up or T mobile itself. Makes little difference as I didn't sign up and now it's gone. The worst experience I've ever had, i went today to get a new line, there were two customers working with the 2 and only employees at this time so we stayed in line, my dad were looking at the phones in the store while waiting and I was waiting in line. Suddenly one of the customers accused us that we were starring "while working with the employee who was giving us her back and didn't see anything" He was so rude and the employee ( the lady) told us that she won't help us and based on that the other employee told us that we can go to a different T. Warning: Do not step foot into an authorized retailer store. Go into a corporate location or shop online they have the same deals. My father went in to get a new phone for my sister and a 2nd phone line for himself (for work). All the "Manager" said was that he would get the iPhone 13 half off once my dad gets the line. I was not present at the time but I'm aware with all their tactics. They added the installments for the iPhone 13 on the new line instead of my sister's line. This causes a huge hassle for cancellations. You cannot cancel a line with an installment on it since the phone has a promotion. So you get stuck with that new line of service for 2 years which he did not explain. Authorized retailers just was to upsell you and get the most out of you that's how they are trained. They just want to get you in and out that's why they don't even have chairs in their stores. read more

Came in today, not one of the 3 workers welcomed us. Then made us wait 40 minutes before saying "someone will be with you shortly" Another 20 minutes went by before a worker asked what I needed. We told them a screen protector, and he walked away. Another 20 minutes passed and finally we were helped, it's now been an hour and 20 minutes that we were waiting to be helped. It took the guy a total of 45 seconds to change the screen, yet we waited over an hour. Kind of weird, don't recommend coming here if you have anything else to do with your day. read more

I ordered my phone online, and when I was prompted for a store location to pickup my phone, the only store that had it in stock was a different location. That location basically just handed me a bag with the phone in a box and dismissed me. When I couldn't figure out how to open the sim tray, I went to this store and Gio was extremely helpful in installing the SIM Card, getting the phone going, and showing me how to transfer the data from my old phone. When I finished getting my old phone ready for the $400 trade-in allowance, Elizabeth was also very helpful, and I prompted received my credit. Highly recommend this store. The people are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help, even when they didn't make the sale. They are excellent brand ambassadors. read more

I went to T-Mobile after 20yrs with Sprint because I had no choice. I am very very unhappy with their service and will leave them after the contract period. They advertise no contract but if you use a promotion it is a contract! I asked to pay the ENTIRE BALANCE on the phones and was given an amount, I paid it. Now they are billing me equipment charges when I was promised I would only pay $90 a month as long as I had done nothing outside of what is offered. When I realized they were charging me fees for the phones I called. I was told there was an error and I was given a credit and told my next bill would not have it. That was not what happened. This month it is there again and they refuse to remove it. BE AWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES! I will find a new company in 2024! read more

First off I want to say that upon getting to my store about a month ago I had pre-arranged with my rep Lazu to have a certain phone ready for me since I had been there the previous day had seen the phones that were available the various services that were available and allowed me to do my due diligence to make sure that the phone that I was considering would have been a good phone for me. Upon arriving at 1 hoping that they would be already and phone ready to go find out that their computer systems are down & told they should be up any moment. After almost 3.5 hours the phones we're the only way they can get ahold of their own corporate to get my phone setup. I had Sprint for 23 years it was a business plan and part of the business plan was one of those grandfathered plans that had all the bells and whistles that you could imagine because at one time I had several employees they were all on sprint. so we were able to get a really great plan. My plan included unlimited data unlimited Mobile hotspot data of course unlimited phone service texting Wi-Fi HD streaming, voicemail to text as well as caller ID. When I arrived I told them the plan that I had they asked me my age, I gave them my social and they came back and said, "your top priority customer you have a very high FICO score and we consider you to be one of our best potential accounts so we're going to give you something called the magenta plus unlimited 55 because the original magenta unlimited 55 not the plus is only 3 GB of mobile hotspot data the other one the plus is 20 gigabytes and the plus includes the same type of service that I had before with Sprint the HD streaming the caller ID the voicemail to text and the best service that there was I was paying $67 for Sprint they told me that my program with them was going to be $50 plus $29.17 for the phone and then $15 for the insurance protection came out to a total of $97.17. And I would get Netflix reimbursed @ $8.99 month. Then I started using the phone and now a month later my text service that includes my voicemail to text says trial about to end. I said trial about to end? I tried to get my Netflix reimbursed on a link that rep had sent me, only to find out that it was only for two devices not one device of the $8.99 that I was promised to be refunded from Netflix which I already had was not a fact. Then the service that they had me hooked up on was not the plus was only the unlimited 55 so now I'm back to spending $97.17 for 1/10 service I had with Sprint for $67. Now come to find out in actuality I am not paying for the plus which I was told by the district manager Nick that day that they hook me up because a he felt I should get same service as Sprint, & I should be getting a little bit of a discount so in addition to the $5 autopay discount he told me at that time he would have knocked off $15 off the bill so that way you can have the unlimited 55 plus services and get the $15 a month discount. That day he had to get on the phone and do the customer service job and then handed it off to another girl, do I had 3 people helping me with the details, not a wonder it's all messed up. So unfortunately I show up today at my store and find out that all's I have is the magenta unlimited 55 I don't have the plus and basically I don't have Netflix being reimbursed my bill is $55 a month plus $29.17 plus $15 a month insurance, in order to add the plus they want to add another 15 bucks so my bills going to be $110 a month for a service that I still not even equal to what I had with Sprint. Somehow I feel like this is completely inappropriate and not fair. And so now I reached out to the district manager to see what he could do because quite frankly this is ridiculous. If I don't get the right response back I'm just going to cancel my service with T-Mobile go back to Sprint get the existing plan that I had before or probably even better plan because now that I've canceled, Sprint has called me trying to win me back. So I'll just go through customer service and see if they want me back as an account I'll buy the phone outright from T-Mobile and be done with T-Mobile. Here it is that T-Mobile and Sprint the same company now yet T-Mobile maybe tells you what you want to hear and here I am 3 and 1/2 hours. Im late for an appointment my whole day is off by 2+ hours. When I left that day I wasn't looking at a piece of paper making sure it's the same service I was promised. Just happy have my phone working and I was out the door. And now I'm very disappointed. I hope they come up to the table and do the right thing if they do I'll be back to edit this post. read more
