Marcus provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. What impressed me most was that he actually did exactly what he promised. When Verizon's 5G Home Internet Lite wasn't yet available in our neighborhood, he told us he would personally let us know as soon as it became available. I honestly didn't expect to hear back, but Marcus kept his word and texted us immediately when the service became available so we could upgrade our internet. That level of follow-through is incredibly rare these days. Marcus was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us. Zero stars if I could. They sold my reserved phone to a walk-in customer. Placed a pickup order on Saturday. Called the store yesterday -- a rep confirmed both phones were ready. Came in this morning when they opened. Suddenly one phone is "not available." No apology. No explanation. No alternatives offered. Just two employees exchanging looks, and one repeatedly telling us to "cancel and reorder." That's it. I have a strong suspicion my reserved phone was handed to a walk-in to make an in-store sale. If that's how this location operates -- prioritizing foot traffic over customers who already have a confirmed order -- that's a serious problem. Reported to Verizon corporate. The bald staff member was completely expressionless, almost like a robot. He showed no basic courtesy--no smile, no friendliness, and barely spoke a word. The whole interaction made us feel as if we were bothering him, or as if we owed him money, rather than being customers. It was very clear that he dislikes his job and has no interest in providing service. This kind of attitude is extremely unprofessional and made the experience uncomfortable. Two weeks ago we ordered 3 new iPhone 16's through Sam at the Yorba Linda store, #20615. Sam is amazing!! He's knowledgeable, thorough, passionate, thoughtful and a real Pro. On Black Friday we came to pick up and activate our 3 phones but one of Sam's associates, Brian, broke the business bundle and sold one of the phones. Not right or cool. Sam was embarrassed, felt horrible and immediately called his business manager, Zena. They hunted down another like phone in Corona. Zena departed the Anaheim Hills store, drove to Corona, picked up the new phone and drove back to Yorba Linda. We were back in business. Thank you Sam and Zena. AVOID THIS STORE! Go to a real Verizon location like the one in Brea. This is a distributor, not a Verizon store. This location has VERY SHADY practices and takes every opportunity to over charge you and upsell with unnecessary extra costs. I ordered a home internet over the phone with a Verizon representative and requested in-store pickup of the equipment. The phone rep gave me an excellent price with loyalty discount. autopay discount, existing lines discount, etc. and told me I could pick up the equipment either at Yorba Linda or Brea and confirmed that Yorba Linda had it in stock. When I got to the Yorba Linda store, I was told that they did not, in fact, have the equipment I had reserved because it was already promised to another customer. They cancelled the order I had placed on the phone and said they would have to sell me a different unit under a new order. They informed me there was a $30 charge for picking it up in store (contrary to what the phone rep told me), and the total monthly cost was going to be significantly higher than what Verizon had previously quoted. I told them of the total I had gotten on the phone, and they said they were not able to match that. To top it all off, they said I wouldn't be able to make a new order for three days since my original phone order had been cancelled (which they did first thing when I got there and I had no opportunity to object). I finally had enough and told them it all seemed shady and I left. I was in urgent need of the internet service, since my AT&T hardwired internet had been out for days with no hope for restoring it anytime soon. Consequently, I went to the T-Mobile store in Yorba Linda and got their 5G Wireless Home Internet instead. They were a delight to work with and didn't try to upsell or overcharge me at all. And the T-Mobile internet is working great, with a 5G signal rather than the LTE that Verizon would have had! I have had shady treatment with upselling and overcharging at this Yorba Linda "Verizon" store a couple of time in past years, and I'm disappointed to report that nothing has changed. Verizon corporate is also going to hear about my experience and I wish they would do something about the treatment of their loyal customer at this store. They just missed out on selling me their internet service and opened the door for me to switch to their competitor. read more

Wife went in to add some services . All was well as the price that was showed reflected a small increase over the previous billing month which was a $15 increase which I was fine with . A month went by and we noticed that priced jumped $110 from previous bill . Robert Velazquez ( Store Manager aka snake in the grass ) was the one with the silver tongue as he talked he showed my wife pictures of his family and his pregnant wife . As to conceal the fact that the next months bill was going to increase by $110 . He even neglected to tell my wife that all the premium subscriptions and perks that were included would vanish with changes made that day . I lost Hulu and Disney plus as well as the discounts applied with that plan . All so we could give my wife phone the ability to give wifi to my kids iPad when we go on drives ,a $10 addition something I might add is not blocked by a pay wall by T-Mobile which I plan to switch to as soon as I can . They really get you on those termination fees . Another issue I have was when we first signed up we supposed to get a $200 gift card or credit per phone that was turned in . I gave 3 phones fully paid for and was expecting a $600 credit . I waited for an email for the promotion and it was NEVER sent ... how convenient. I called the customer service to find a solution and was met with false promises and no help from the outsourced Phillipino rep . Only when I was in contact with an American rep that I was given half a solution . The rep was able to give me $300 of the money that was promised . This was given to me 8 months after the fact and several calls to Verizon rep. FYI don't talk to the outsourced rep talk only to the American reps they have more sway than those phillipino reps . But now I'm stuck with a $400 bill every month for 6 lines . I plan to escalate as high as I can and litigation is not out of the question . But I thought I would let common folk know never to trust what the store tells you . # 1 This store is not a corporate owned store they are and outside vendor . Kinda like a mall store that has a minor affiliation with Verizon as far as selling a phones . They will not help with billing and are more concerned with sales above all else . #2 If you speak to the manager Robert Velazquez keep in mind that he has his priorities in helping enrich HIMSELF and not to help you what so ever . #3 Do yourself a favor and do not go to any franchise store and deal directly with a corporate store as they are beholden to Verizon and can directly help you . #4 Do yourself a bigger favor and don't do business with these folks . He was knowledgable, got us moving in the right direction to reset my wife's password, and was able to change our plan up to get our son more Hotspot data AND save us money. Absolutely horrible service!! In fact, NO SERVICE at all. Went in to purchase product and the "young man" behind the counter could barely pull himself away from his phone long enough to talk with me. He was sitting on a stool and never looked up, never approached the counter, never offered any resemblance of life. When I had to ask him to repeat himself several times, he stood up on the bottom rails of his stool so he was now towering over me. Not sure customer intimidation is good sales technique or what he was trying to prove. There was no confrontation between us so I don't think he was trying to scare me by his now towering size. I had ordered 3 phones from this store in November 2021 and have had multiple issues in trying to obtain the phones. From the lack of communication, poor customer service and overall dismissal of our order. We have called support multiple times to try and get our phones but to no success or assistance from Store Manager Chanel Galindo. We have filed multiple tickets to solve this issue but not one seems to have a trace or provide us with a one. It seems like getting rid of me as a customer was better for her than trying to retain me and solve my issues which truly is the store issue. As of February 14, 2022 there is still no resolution. This location is a 3rd party retailer. I walked in earlier to get assistance with my account and possibly order a phone for my mom. Immediately upon asking what I needed assistance with, the young man at the counter told us that he could not assist us because of the fact that they were a 3rd party vendor, and another gentleman looked as if he didn't want to help either. however Jessica, was happy to assist us in contacting Verizon and getting the situation figured out. Jessica was great! The young man who originally helped us was glued to his phone and completely unprofessional. We witnessed another customer come in asking for assistance, upon the customer leaving the worker mumbled "I did my deed for the day". I completely understand being tired, but comments like that should not be voiced in front of customers. Due to the unprofessionalism, we left and chose to not order a phone from this location. We appreciated Jessica's help, she was great, however both of the gentlemen working were unbusinesslike and lacked customer service skills. read more

Had to stop by the Yorba Linda office during my work day, wow! Detailed, quick, convenient to say the least. Conrad was the representative that initially helped get my email working with my iPhone 10. They looked at my old plan and eventually got my mother and myself each an upgrade. Chanel the store manager re-rated my plan from the old Verizon unlimited plan and our bill only went up $20!!!!! We left with two new iPhone 13 pro max, case, screen protector and the car charger and we paid tax. The old iPhone covered my accessory package. Although my mother is trying to adapt, I am stoked. This Victra Verizon store is Amazing and so easy!! I needed to transfer data on 4 new phones and purchase a 5th. Conrad, Manager Chanel and Sergio helped me in 2 trips. Got right in, no wait, received very good discounts on a phone and accessories I wasn't expecting!! I have had unpleasant experiences at a few other Verizon corporate stores but didn't want to tackle all this on my own. I was so happily surprised and will do all of my Verizon business at the store from now on!!!!! read more

RUN FAR AWAY from this location! The store manager Robert and the sales clerk that I encountered are as shady as they come. I came in after my SIM card failed while on vacation. They said the problem was my with my phone and that I needed a new phone. Then the sales clerk worked on a "deal" for me. The store manager Robert came out and started talking nonsense in circles about monthly fees and double dipping with my trade in to get me the "best deal." They tried to add a ridiculous out-the-door cost of over $300 with no reasonable explanation for what it was for (my current phone is paid off) plus the full price for the new phone to be paid over 36 months and no credit for my trade in that I later found out is worth $270. I left of course without taking their offer. If that wasn't bad enough, they forgot to put my SIM card back in my phone. I went back the next morning and they had thrown it away! I had a tech appointment with Apple and needed my SIM card. Anyway, went to Apple and found out there was nothing wrong with my phone. I just needed a new SIM card because my old one failed. I then went to a Verizon owned store location in Brea. There I found out the Yorba Linda location didn't know what they were doing with my SIM and a security lock was placed on my account. The Brea location was able to give me a new SIM at no charge and that fixed the issue. Also, please note this Yorba Linda store is not a Verizon owned corporate store. It is a company called Victra, an authorized Verizon retailer. This means they can set their own fees and rip you off. Buyer beware read more

On my initial visit to the Yorba Linda location, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, patiently explaining details of iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13 etc. even though I was candid about not being ready to buy that day. When I returned, ready to purchase an iPhone 13, Conrad could not have been more wonderful to work with. He is obviously very tech savvy, but spoke to me with quiet confidence in language I could understand. I did not feel pressured or confused by the process, because he took the time to explain everything kindly and clearly. I highly recommend this store and especially Conrad! read more

Chanel is fantastic. One of the easiest times I have ever upgraded my phone. She is very relaxed and professional. Was able to acknowledge people entering the store and multitask and keep everyone happy which is pretty amazing. We had already been to the Brea store and were told the earliest we could get in was three days from now- there was only one other person in the store at the time and there were two people working. Hmmmm. Chanel took the time to help me find all the right accessories I needed and I asked her to put them on my phone and she helped me with everything. She even helped me at the end find my F1 ringtone that I wanted and helped me upload that too. Very happy and pretty sure I have the coolest phone in YL now! Made an appointment to come in today and Michael was so very sweet and extremely helpful and super patient! He was the only one working when I came in and I was surprised he was alone because normally Saturday's are busy, but anyways a few other customers had come in the store without an appointment and they were being super impatient and Michael was very sweet and still accommodated to everyone in the store! I was more disappointed in the other customer that had come in because he kept asking Michael how long it's going to take and the customer didn't even set up an appointment and Michael was so patient and good with being in that situation. Went into store to purchase a phone. Was told that I could not pay for the phone in its entirety and was required to finance at least $50.00 (Apple store allows you to purchase phone outright). Was told that phone would need to be ordered and shipped to store and was given a verbal price of $479.99 plus tax and $35.00 activation fee. Was told I could only pay for cost of phone and tax minus the $50.00 that had to be financed and the $35.00 activation fee that would appear on my bill. Received invoice in my email showing $440 due today, but nothing showing remainder owed. The numbers did not add up correctly. When I asked Kevin multiple times for an invoice showing all charges, he would not provide it. When pressed, he also revealed that he was charging me an additional $29.99 to set up the phone even though I was setting it up at home. I finally requested the order be canceled because he refused to provide a complete itemized invoice and he had included additional charges without my consent. Kevin told me he was unable to cancel the order until the phone was delivered to store and that I would have to come back in to cancel the order. Super frustrating. Felt like dealing with a shady used car salesman. Buying a phone should not be mysterious or shady. UPDATE 12/10/22: Returned to store yesterday after device was delivered to store to cancel the order. Kevin was very apologetic about the issues I was facing and assured me that they are Verizon issues and not related to store policies. He told me that the order has now been canceled, but my account still shows that device was delivered (even though I DID NOT take delivery of the device). Unfortunately, I have also made several calls to Verizon about this issue and it remains unresolved. At this point, I can't recommend VERIZON at all. Kevin was friendly, but if his hands are tied by VERIZON policies, then I can't recommend his store either. As a side note, I was able to purchase the phone directly from the Apple store at the Brea Mall. I received clear up-front pricing, professional service, and was in and out of the store within 15 minutes with phone in hand. Just got off the phone for the 8 th time with someone from Verizon been going back and forth between stores and call center . Most frustrating experience ! Till summer of 2017 we ve been with Verizon for almost 15 years just switched to T mobile as bill seemed to increase monthly . We bought all our phones from the Verizon stores in Yorba Linda and 2016 we were sold a refurbished one which we just found out when trying to repair it last week . We payed full price for a fake phone . Very disappointed at the attitude of everyone I've talked to rude and they just want to make it the other persons problem .... no one takes ownership of the fraud ! When I went to get my phone a gentleman greeted me at the door at a safe distance that I could come in to ask questions. Juan R. you are a Godsend!!! Never in my life have I had such stellar customer service especially when it comes to getting a new phone. He waited on hold with me to get through to customer service, he helped me get a case and screen protector. He also assisted me moving my info over.
