Excellent crepes, T-Swirl Crepe Banana Dubai Nutella is one of my favorite crepes - five stars. Tea review : I also tried the Original Milk Tea with white pearl No Sugar. The tea was a disappointment - it had sugar when I requested no sugar. I think the white pearl has sugar. They did not have an option for regular boba pearls. The white pearl wasn't bad but it was too much like sweet lychee. Next time will skip the tea and stay with the crepes which are amazing ! read more

I love T-Swirl's thinly crispy Japanese crepes and am glad this one has more seating than the East Village location. There are lots of sweet and savory options, and while it can take time for the crepes to be made, they're worth the wait. I almost always get the Spicy Crab Meat, loaded with veggies and imitation crab meat. It's full of tasty umami goodness, and very filling. Sometimes the crepe can start to fall apart from the sauce, so I always have to eat fast and make good use of that winding, rippable paper crepe holder. Dessert-wise I like the Blueberry NY Cheesecake crepe, but friends have also enjoyed the Matcha Azuki Bean, Lychee Romantic, and Banana Dubai Nutella options. There's something for everyone! They also have changing in-store BOGO drink deals. I've had the toffee black milk tea and lychee milk tea, and honestly, neither one fully tastes like its name (especially the toffee), but they still satisfy that milk tea craving when it hits. read more

I had been wanting to check one of these out forever, but I am not foodbaby and with a child in tow and not a close ride, it proved more difficult than I had hoped. Fast forward to Mother's Day and I was able to enjoy one of their delicious sweet crepes for free! The staff was so nice and hard working - wish I saw more people leave tips for the hard working guys making the crepes, especially since it was so generous of the store/company to provide mothers with a free treat. I got the chocolate nut party and it was a chocolatey delight! I would probably ask to forgo the yogurt as I thought it brought a tang to the crepe that I didn't need. It was also surprisingly filling for a thin crepe! Mine came with ice cream so I was able to get that on the side to share with my little guy. It was decadent and delicious! They also used delicious truffles that reminded me of the Japanese Royce chocolate truffles and it was a great treat after a nice day :) I would definitely go back to try a savory crepe and get another sweet one to go! read more

This crepe shop is right in Park Slope not too far from the Barclay's. You can order from the counter or use the kiosk. So many choices. Imagine my surprise when I saw this crepes store with all the many cool varieties of crepes. Watching Anime and seeing the characters eat these crepes I've always dreamed of going to Japan to try one and Alas! My dream has come true right in Brooklyn!. Coming from wild Park Slope for Jazz nights, this was my second time passing by and this time I decided to stop in since i don't live nearby; I thought today was the day, why not. So many options with the sweet & Savory which contains food. I opted for the sweet Fruits Coctail which contained Mango, Strawberries, Blueberries, Banana, & Raspberries with whipped yogurt. I couldn't get home fast enough to try it. And let me say, this is what you call a crepe. It was sweet but not overly sweet for a sugar rush. And it was filled all the way to the bottom; not like others I've had with an empty shell. I enjoyed it and will definitely visit again. I saw pictures of the matcha tiramisu and creme brulee crepes and knew I had to get it asap but, I couldn't find it on the physical menu and the kiosk. Turns out those two are not on the menu officially and the staff kindly helped me place the order for them. There are some seatings available in the store and the bathroom is open to customers. It was so unique and delicious, different than how their typical items on the menu are prepared, more flatten, and not round. Both has a strong matcha flavor, the fillings are creamy and not too sweet. The crepes have a great texture, crispy outer layer, and chewy inner layer. Definitely will be coming back just for these two items! read more

My all-time favorite japanese crepe spot, T-Swirl, has just launched two new matcha crepes. I've lost count of how many times I've had their crepes. I was excited to get my hands on their latest Matcha Tiramisu and Matcha Brûlée crepes. I can confirm these new flavors won't disappoint matcha fans -- they're shining in matcha flavors, rolled into matcha-flavored crepes. I wished they could fill up the crepe with more matcha custard cream. It is definitely lighter than their regular crepes, which is not a bad thing because I always find their crepes too filling as a dessert. One off favorite places to go to when I visit NYC. Our first visit to T-Swirl was in Chinatown and this time we went to the one in Brooklyn. Both were awesome and the one in Brooklyn was "Chef's Kiss". Freshness: All of the ingredients in the crave including the crave were fresh. We got the shrimp tempura savory crêpe. It had fresh greens carrots, Sriracha avocado wrapped inside a grape, and it was so flavorful and crispy. We had also a sweet crepe with strawberries and Nutella, and decided to add extra chocolate covered poke sticks, which gave the crepe an even better crunch. The strawberries were fresh and the Nutella had a little chocolate taste in it, which made it amazing. The food was finished in a timely manner and was hot for the savory and cool temp for the sweet. The crepe was fluffy with crispy ends which was my favorite part. Ambiance: The location is on a corner and it has example crêpes in a viewing glass case for people to see what they look like. The business is small but nicely designed. The floors and tables were clean and the customer service was excellent! Price: You get a lot food for the price which will run you above $12-24 per crepe and what you can get inside then crepe. You can add extra items for $5 and up to both a savory and sweet crepe. They also serve green teas and boba. There is a bathroom for customers and cool keychains that you can get in a shape of a crepe. Overall: 10/10 and we will be back. Thx T-Swirl . read more

3 stars looks harsher than it is, but it's an honest review. I applaud them for being in the neighborhood and for hand making each crepe. It's a bit small inside with limited seating options. At the time that I went, the tables were messy and I don't think the staff went around tending to the area. I got the Strawberry Banana which looked great in the pictures, but the flavors were muted. On top of that, our to go order of 3 crepes and 2 drinks took like 25 minutes to prepare while we waited in bug central. They offered us a free keychain because of the wait. I called to order ahead but still had to wait a few minutes- I guess total wait time was 12 minutes? mind you there weren't really customers inside when i went. I got the regular size with mango in it. I would say get the mini size if you're having this right after a meal but regular size if it's dessert and you didn't eat anything within the past few hours because this is pretty filling. there's custard inside and mango slices topped with caramelized custard on top. think of it like a giant portuguese egg tart except with more custard. The mango wasn't very ripe though but i think it's just not in season right now unfortunately. i would try a different fruit next time but this was very delicious. read more

Woohoo! Finally a T-Swirl Crepe in Brooklyn! I saw their grand opening sign outside and made it a must to stop by after having Thai food nearby. I was a little worried about whether I had room for dessert 'cause I was still super full from my meal and carrying a leftover drumstick in a baggie when I walked into the creperie. Thankfully, they offered mini options for most of the crepes on their menu. Luckily, the one i wanted - Crepe Brulee - also came in a mini size. And of course you're wondering how mini is the mini. I would say it's a little more than half the size of the regular one. Frankly, I still struggled to finish my last few bites, but each bite was so worth it! The brulee on top reminded me of the creme brulee crepes from LA's Millet Crepe! Here I thought I would only be able to get those quality crepes if I bought myself a $400 ticket to fly to the west coast, but I'm so glad that's not true... anymore. I, of course, couldn't say no to having some ice cream with it too, so I paid the extra few dollars to have matcha ice cream... on the side as it turns out. The ice cream was good but it wasn't the same as having it in the crepe. I had to take a bite of my crepe and shovel some ice cream from the little plastic container. This is something that Millet Crepe is able to do better, sadly. Still, I'd get it every weekend from here if health wasn't a thing. Seating is not aplenty here and not suitable for large groups, but if you're just on a date or hanging with a few of your besties, then you might have some luck in grabbing one of the couple of tables available in here. Just make sure someone watches the table while another orders at the self-serve kiosk. Oh, the plus? Bathrooms! So don't be afraid to order a bottle of water for the low price of $1.50 or one of their refreshing drinks if you're still chatting away with your companion(s) after demolishing your crepe and getting kind of thirsty. Am a purist for traditional European crepes so was dismayed by how few options came loaded with butter, cheese and ham. Raw cold veggies? Tofu sauce? Meh. Ordered the egg mushroom savory crepe and wow. Wow! So fresh and rich and warm and flavorful with a gentle hint of truffle. I would have crammed the whole thing in my mouth except my 3yo daughter wanted a bite. She's picky about mixed food and greens so I thought she'd take one bite and leave me to my feast but no. Writing poor reviews suck and usually I don't bother reviewing places I don't enjoy, But, it hurts especially for T-Swirl Crepe because I was thrilled and told so many people to try it after the Park Slope location opened. We ordered two crepes both with cheese and bacon, and one additionally with chicken. Despite being the only customers in the shop, we waited 35 mins. Felt as if I couldn't ask a question ( I only asked 2 and was friendly and polite) about the menu without receiving an eye-roll and visibly annoyed expression from the employee taking my order. Staff were preoccupied socializing amongst each other and playing games on their phones. Due to the wait time we took our crepes to go to avoid being late to our event, only to bite into freezing cold crepes with almost no bacon or chicken. While the crepe itself was really good, thin and crunchy on the edges, the cheese, bacon and chicken were all freezing cold. I have been to two other T-Swirl locations various times and both crepes had substantially less toppings than what usually is served. The crepes would have been good if served at the appropriate temperature and amount of toppings. Hoping to return if reviews are good after some time. read more
