Our first time here recommended by family. It's near the UC Riverside campus nestled in a commercial mall. Upon entering, the place felt a little empty and "cold". We were there after lunch, so maybe that's why it was so quiet. The crepe menu is posted on the wall or on the standalone kiosk. We placed our order of strawberry Nutella, wild berry crepe and strawberry banana crepe on the kiosk. Once your order is completed, your name or order number is called. Crepes were light and delicious. Plentiful parking outside shared with other businesses nearby. Decor is lacking and customer service face-to-face didn't exist. Only one restroom and it is co-ed.

Solid crepe place with amazing options even for vegetarians. The service was a little slow. It took me about 15-20 mins for my order even though they weren't super busy. I'd give them 5 stars if the order wasn't so long. The ambiance is modern and quiet with good amount of seating. This is a great food option if you're in Riverside or studying next door at Yemeni. The matcha is a 9/10 for me, simple but delicious real green matcha. You get what you pay for. The mango raspberry crepe goes amazing together, fruit is always fresh. The gelato is meant to go on the crepe but we get it on the side and it's fire, sweet and creamy. I have never had a bad experience 100% recommend

We were visiting from out of town and so happy we stumbled upon this little strip! It was packed and even the outdoor seating was full. We were excited to try crepes like this for the first time and it did not disappoint! I got the Lychee Romantic and my boyfriend got crème brûlée, which may have been a special. We both enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very friendly and it was really cool watching them put together the crepes as well!

The inside is minimalistic, it's nice and clean. They have a varied menu with lots of options. However, the crepe was fairly cold and had a freezer burn texture to it. The Nutella and bananas were good but i had to heat it up in the microwave and it was ruined by the texture. Everyone there is nice though, it's also easy to order through the kiosk if you don't feel social.

This place is pretty cute. It's nice to have lighter dessert options in the area, and with the variety of savory crepes available, it's not just a late night dessert stop but also perfect for brunch hour! Just be sure to double check your order if you get it to go. I ordered two different crepes and got a double of the same on my most recent visit. Luckily it was really good! It was nicely filled and the crepe skin itself was delicious. I didn't really mind, but it's not very matcha. The flavor is there if you taste the sauce by itself, but the chocolate overpowers it.

Walk in nobody says hello, or greets you in anyway because they're in the back mindlessly scrolling on their phones. Which I am not making up because you can see thru into the back and they were doing exactly that You then order on an iPad and they ask you for a tip, which had me rolling on the floor laughing, Typical crepe is $10 comes with a scoop of ice cream and it's a pretty decent size but the ambiance, and lack of service from a real human makes the price too high for me. If this is a small business I'd recommend the owner trains his workers better because they are far from people persons Maybe put some tvs in there and make the seating arrangements more inviting It was almost like something terrible happened when I walked in cause everyone was sad looking Got the blueberry cheesecake crepe and it was okay Won't be coming back Ice cream was way too hard to even eat it broke the plastic spoon

A few weeks ago, after lunch in the village, I stopped by T-Swirl Crepe for a treat for the road. This was my first time visiting a T-Swirl Crepe location. Upon arrival near 1pm, the store smelled sweet, and was brightly lit with some open tables and a bar counter. I ordered the Crepe Brûlée at the kiosk. There was only one staff member working at the front, and it took almost 20 minutes to prepare my order. The crepe was thin, yet kept its shape well for to-go. The custard was thick, and the sugar top wasn't torched much. I didn't get any fruit fillings, so I wonder if that would've changed my experience. I've had better crème brûlée crepes elsewhere. Overall, it was a nice sweet treat, but I'd get something else next time at this T-Swirl Crepe location.

Loved the banana strawberry cream crepe! I chose the mini crepe for just under $8. But for just $1 more you could get a much bigger crepe so I recommend getting a regular size crepe. The interior is very aesthetic and simple, cool design. Crepes are made fresh when you order. I think there was a little bit of cheese cream inside? Which added a savory touch to the sweet cream and fruit. Overall very good.

My expectations for Riverside crepes? LOW after so many let downs, but a lunar craving prompted me to try another location, THIS PLACE! And I am HAPPY! I ordered via DoorDash during COVID. The fillings were dopamine folded into cloudy, soft blankets of crepe galore. The lychee romantic was one of my favorites, outside of the blueberry cheese cake. I find typical crepes pretty boring. Banana, Nutella, strawberries and whip creme. Meh. However, this place knows what's up! After dinner husband and I decided to get a Matcha Azuki Bean crepe. One of the better desserts I've had! Check this place out, you won't regret it. They also have savory crepes. Will need to try one of those during my next visit. read more

I am obsessed with this place!! I was sad the GameStop closed down in this location, but I couldn't be happier that T-Swirl Crêpe is now in its place. I absolutely love the lychee romantic and have also enjoyed the strawberry banana and the chocolate one. It has been super easy ordering on the kiosk and they bring out the crepes very quickly! I prefer eating them there but the to-go option is very helpful when I just want to enjoy it at home. I have only had the desert crepes, but they absolutely keep me coming back for more. I do order my lychee romantic with extra lychee and extra rose cream and it's just perfect to me! Already looking forward to going back. read more

This place has been on my radar for a while. My sister and I shared a spicy crabmeat crepe. First of all, it was huge lol. It was so delicious I was pleasantly surprised. We also each had a mini creme brulee crepe (this is what I originally wanted to come to try) with lychee and it was divine . I would definitely come back again. Inside was clean and modern looking. We ordered the strawberry, Nutella with ice cream on the side & a wild berry with ice cream on top. It was both very delicious, no complaints. You can pay with card, Apple Pay on the kiosk or cash with the worker. Knocked out a star because I paid with cash & because it was a soft opening I was supppse to get 10% off but he forgot to add it on (I had the receipt). Inside was narrow, cute plain seats (plenty). The staff are super friendly and quick. Service was great and the crepes were delicious. The first time I went I got the matcha truffle and the second time I got a custom crepe with rose custard, strawberries, chocolate, and whip. Everything is so tasty! A cute little spot in University Village. My friend and I came here around noon on Wednesday and there wasn't anybody. We got the Matcha Chocolate Truffles for $9.78 (a tad overpriced in my opinion) but the crepes had a generous amount of toppings! The staff was chill and willing to help with any questions we had. Wanted a sweet treat for the heat and luckily TSwirl crepe was super close by. I ordered the strawberry nutella crepe and added banana for $1.50 more. The crepe was crispy and soft which was super enjoyable and the fruits were super sweet. The oat matcha latte is also super flavorful and creamy which is good for cooling down. The workers were nice and welcoming and made sure to be helpful if you're unsure of the menu. The establishment was very tidy and clean and is a perfect spot to chill or study. I have been to many different crepe places and this one has been my favorite so far, I got the Matcha chocolate truffle, and it really has a great combination off favors not too sweet just right. You do have to place your own order in at the kiosk which sucks if you have questions because you don't want to bother the workers, I mean they have a kiosk to place your order so I'm assuming they do that purpose right. The large serving doesn't look that big until you start eating it and you realize it's actually a lot of food enough for two people. read more

It's my first time here and my expectation was based on other's reviews. I can say that what I ordered today did not disappoint. I ordered spicy crab savory crepe and the matcha truffle sweet crepe, both were really tasty, and my husband who never ate a crepe and matcha in his life, really liked it. That's two thumbs up right there. But I would agree with other people's review as well that I was expecting for the crepe to be served hot or that's what I am used to when eating crepe, but I let that one slide because my palate agreed that despite this, both were delicious and filling. I am definitely coming back to try the other flavors, and I must say that the prices are affordable. The location is also convenient for us and there's free parking for the first two hours. I hope that the business will thrive so we can continue enjoying these crepes. read more

The crepes on a cone are enjoyable but I find it harder to eat that way. I would come here more often but it's extremely packed especially on Fridays and weekends. I didn't have a good experience placing a mobile order but I don't place mobile orders often anyways. I think if you are patient it's worth waiting in line for. read more

I've lived in the IE my whole life and I've never had a crepe before. I figured I'd try out the new place and see what I've been missing, and boy I've been missing out! My favorite has to be the lychee romantic crepe. I like to get less custard and yogurt and the staff happily customized my order. Not only is the food delicious and fresh, the vibes in the store are amazing and perfect for studying. Definitely coming back soon. read more

Beautiful inside !!!!!!!! We ordered the crème brûlée, rose lychee, mango , and smoked salmon crepes all to go. The mango one come with ice cream and that was on the side . Once we got home it was kind of hard to eat that one , and I would not recommend any crepes with ice cream as a to go, they should be eaten right away to really enjoy the flavors as they were meant to be. The mango was our least favorite for this reason . Crème brûlée was our favorite and we would hands down get it again. I also really liked the smoked salmon . Next time I would go with the cashiers recommendation and try one of the Nutella ones . You order from a screen which was fast and easy. I liked it and would go back :) read more

Great addition to the UV! Definitely have been waiting for more pastry options to open up around in this area other than boba. The crepes were fairly decent. My only complaint about them was that the Crème Brûlée crepe had way too much cream on the top half and became too much after a few bites. I did really enjoy the Matcha Chocolate crepe as it wasn't too sweet. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area looking for something sweet. read more

Haven't tried crepes before so I had pretty high expectations going in and I have to say that I found their mango deluxe to be really tasty! I really appreciated the staff especially the cashier who was very helpful in deciding between so many different sweet and savory crepes. The simplistic design of the restaurant also make this a wonderful place to eat and study. read more

I was really looking forward to a dessert crepe. They looked amazing online. The displays on the counter also look great. What you get compared to the picture is absolutely sad and not worth the cost at all. I should never have added a tip or purchased extra fruit. Will never return again. I updated the review with a photo and realized that I should have taken a picture from the top but I sent to my family to show side by side to the menu item. And yes, I understand that it won't look the same as the pic. It should at least look similar to pic people have posted. When I first received it and looked down, it looked unfinished. The place is super clean, plenty variety. I always have them in las vegas and city of industry and I was super excited to hear a location open here in Riverside. Saddly it was not the same, they have such a small amount of creme, literally, I couldn't really taste it or see it. Hopefully they can fix that and match with the other locations. read more

Was excited to try it but sadly the crepe was cold which was disappointing. Usually what makes crepe good is the crispy, hot layer w melting Nutella strawberry but it was just cold with the toppings. Flavor was good however not sure if I want a cold crepe again read more

We got 4 sweet crepes, 2 came with gelato, and all of them were delicious. Very much reminded me of the crepes I had in Japan, so I'm so happy I tried this place because I have been looking for Japanese crepes ever since! The restaurant is clean, and a relaxing place to enjoy your food. The staff member working was friendly and did a wonderful job. read more

The best crepes I've ever had in my life! The crepes are more on the crisper side than fluffier side (which is how I think it should be). There is a weird smell inside the crepe shop which is probably the ingredients used, as all T-Swirl crepe shops smell like this. Amazing taste and good price though! read more

Their lychee crepe is so good I crave it like everyday LOL, I like it better than their strawberry Nutella, it's just lighter because imo Nutella is just very heavy lol, to make it less heavy I opted for half custard cream and half Nutella instead of all Nutella and it was pretty good! Came here with my gf for the second time had the same experience. Ordered in store and had to wait over 50 minutes for just 2 crepes, our wild berry and crepe brûlée order. Multiple people who ordered after us got their order before ours. Staff didn't seem to care about our order and had to ask for it 3 times. When we asked the staff about our order after getting a text (about 15 mins from order) that it was ready they had no idea about our order and made it on the spot when we asked about it after 50 minutes. We requested chocolate sauce on the side as a note per our order and it was disregarded when order was done. To emphasize the staff did not seem to care about the wait time and disregarded us multiple times. The wild berry was not presented well and was squished with lackluster amount of fruit and the crème brûlée was spilling over and way too sweet. We wanted to like this place but it was our 2nd bad experience in a row. I didn't know it was possible to mess up a crepe order and the only way to mess up a crepe was to take 50 minutes to make it read more

What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. I got my favorite mug here and for a pretty fair price too! They make a huge variety of tea blends, available in tiny pouches so you can sample lots of different types without making a commitment to a huge bag. There is a shop cat who lives here named Pepper. She seems clean and friendly, and the teas are hung up on the wall and not placed on a table so you won't get litter paws all over your tea leaves. Maybe it's just something to be aware of if you have cat allergies or just dislike them.

The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. We tried the Matcha Azuki Bean crepe at T-Swirl, and it was a great experience. All the crepes are rice-based and gluten-free, which is a nice touch. The presentation was beautiful, and the crepe was freshly made with delicious fruits. The only downside was the ice cream, which was a bit basic and blend (at least the matcha flavor). Not all crepes come with ice cream though, so I'd recommend skipping it. The service was great, though, and overall, it's a solid spot for a tasty, fresh treat! read more

I just tried this matcha chocolate truffle crepe, and dude, it's legit amazing! The crepe is thin and perfectly made, and the mix of matcha and chocolate pairs so well. Shop looks very clean when walking in. I order the #3 crepe brûlée & was very delicious with strawberries inside of the crepe. Very friendly staff & a good place to study with outlets on the corner to charge my computer. They also have lemon water on the counter for people to grab whenever they want. 8/10 read more

And eventually other customers did show up.
