T4 is one of the only place in the city that's open late. It's definitely a nice place to go after work or after bar hopping down to pick up a late snack. When I use to work downtown it was another nice place to get a lunch that was something different. While they do have the traditional fried snacks like fries and popcorn chicken the noodles and sandwiches are actually very fresh and good with a fresh ingredients tea drink. They have so many tea options it's a good place to go with groups you have different taste. I go often as a place to catch up with friends. The staff is nice and so helpful every time I go in I ask for their recommendation and they always happily give it to me and I have yet to be disappointed. Because of this it does tend to get crowded, and I always avoid going after 1-2 on a weekday as it turns into more of a high school kid hanging out, which I actually like about it. I was a regular here and I always ordered a jasmine milk tea. Super common and basic drink. I don't do anything crazy with my order. As of late, with the change of employees(seems to be the night crew only) , my drink never tastes right. One time, they didn't even add sugar into my drink. I had to turn around and ask them to remake it. The owner was really nice about it but the employee kept on claiming he had added sugar. I had two other people try my drink to see if there was any sugar in it, they said it was basically milk with jasmine flavoring. I miss the old staff who actually greeted us when we walked through the door and were super friendly. They made the drinks right and always greeted us with a smile. Now, we just go up and order, check over it and that's it. UPDATED 5/5/17 So I ordered a jasmine milk tea again today. Guess what they forgot to add? Sugar. One of the very few places open on Sundays in downtown Tracy. Whenever I'm in Tracy and craving boba, T4 is my go-to place. I like that I can customize the sweetness level and the amount of ice. I find their drinks to be sweet, so I opt around 0% - 30% depending on the flavor. And they have a variety of flavors and types of drinks. The space is good for groups. The tables can fit about 4-6 people. And they have board games for those staying in. I usually get my drinks to go. I haven't had their food yet. I usually get a drink to go, or I'm not hungry, so eating here isn't at the top of my list. They have a rewards program through an app, in which you just type in your phone number. It's much easier than getting a punch card, which I always lose or forget to bring. T4 is easily one of my favorite milk tea spots. Tracy did good by opening one up. I love coming to this location w/ family and friends since they're open later than most shops in Tracy. Their drinks have improved a lot since their first opened. My go to drinks are roasted oolong milk tea, jasmine milk tea, or green tea w/ mango ice cream. Their food is also good! I really like their chilli powder at this location b/c it's much more spicer than others locations, idk why. Workers are very nice and friendly. The shop is very clean, including the bathroom. My go to spot for almond milk tea and a pretty tasty Bahn Mi outside of the Bay Area. It's listed as BBQ chicken sandwich or BBQ pork sandwich but it's a Bahn Mi with all the goodies including warm french baguette, liver spread pate, picked veggies and jalapeños. When T4 initially opened, I would try some of the food options off their menu, but each time I've found it to be sub-par and sometimes even pretty gross. I can pick the hair out of my sandwich without complaint, but after my last orders of well-undercooked popcorn chicken and soggy takoyaki, I've made it a point not to order anymore food. Though their drinks are, meh--your standard syrupy mixture, I continued to come because they're on my errand route and the staff (depending on the day) was pleasant... that is until recently. What I find unacceptable is the behavior of the OWNER, who was on some huge ego trip. You can regulate the sweetness and amount of ice you want in your drink. The Taro is always very good and creamy. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. This is my 2nd time coming here and I ordered a Passion Tea, I specifically asked if there was ANY sugar in the tea as I'm a Type 1 diabetic, I was told no. So, I ordered the tea with zero sweetness, thinking it's PLAIN tea. Got my drink, took a sip and it's sweet. I go and ask if there's ANY sugar in the tea and am told there's passion fruit SYRUP in the tea. I sw the Manager who explains there's zero sugar. I explain that I'm a Type 1 diabetic and can't have the SYRUP as THAT IS sugar and I didn't alott for it in my insulin intake. I explained that there's a possible misunderstanding, they need to explain to customers there's SYRUP in the tea. She made the tea and I asked for the change, she said: being I DRANK the tea and ordered ZERO sugar, there wouldn't be one. I explained again, I ordered to the BEST of my ability in asking if there's ANY sugar in the tea and I took a SIP of the tea and immediately brought it to their attention, it was NOT fully drank. There's a clear lack of understanding on explanation on WHAT is your product and how to serve a customer. I actually really love the milk tea flavors here. It tastes really authentic -- literally like milk tea, instead of the powdered and over sugared preservative version. I've tried a few different flavors here from sipping on my family members drinks. lol! All the drinks tasted so good! When I went here with my cousin, I ordered the matcha green milk tea with small boba (tapioca) -- honestly I think it's the best I've ever had. No lie! It tastes literally like brewed tea with milk in it. Can't get anymore authentic than that! Other places use the powdered version, which I don't really like. I've also sipped on the Panda drink, which was really good too! It had a mixture of boba and jelly. The other flavors I've tried were the taro, oolong, and earl grey milk teas. If you live in Tracy, you know that it can get tooooo hot in the summer. If I still lived here, I could see myself hanging out here during Tye hot days: it's a cute cool-off place. I grabbed the chicken during my last visit and I HAD to get it again for my car ride back to SF. Takes a little while to get it, but it's worth it if you're not in a rush. I've been here a couple of times & it isn't too bad. I usually like to get either Oolong Milk Tea, Rose Milk Tea, and Thai Tea. The snacks are okay. Sometimes they can be seriously on point, but other times it can be either seriously over cooked or undercooked. It really is a hit or miss when coming here depending on who is making what. The service is kind of hit or miss as well. Sometimes i'll get really friendly and nice service and other times I would get really rude service. I like that they have a loyalty/reward program though.
