Lemon Marscapone Cream & Berries French Toast
    Leonor F.

I got a sweet treat here. It was very delish! I had a Lemon Marscapone Cream & Berries French Toast Thick-cut milk bread with lemon mascarpone cream and fresh-cut berries inside and on top. I thought I'd try something different, I'm glad I did! The service was great, never an empty cup of their coffee, and we were asked more than once if we needed anything else. That's great service! I love the quotes on the walls and pictures of their famous dishes. This is what got me to try it. If they have a huge picture of it, must be delicious!

Biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and red skin potatoes

Yummm!! My hubby and I came for breakfast and loved it. I tried biscuits and gravy for the first time, and while it was certainly a denser and heavier meal, it was super tasty! Next time, I'm ordering the biscuits on the side so they don't get too soggy but their biscuits were buttery and the perfect texture. Hubby got the tuna melt and said it was solid. It wasn't busy when we came so service was quick. The waitress taking our order was kind, and gave us our sweet potato fries for free in place of the red skin potatoes. I also loved the upscale diner vibes in Town & Country Cafe. It was diner food in a updated setting!

Fried chicken benedict with country potatoes, stack of pancakes

It was my first time eating here and it was enjoyable! The restaurant is in a cute downtown area. It is pretty small inside, but they also have some outdoor seating. I ordered the fried chicken benedict with country potatoes and a side stack of pancakes. The chicken was very crunchy and flavorful! The pancakes were nice and fluffy as well. For being a busy Sunday during brunch time, the service was great and fast. I'd definitely recommend!

It took my friend here for her birthday. She's a regular and comes here quite often. We showed up and had to put in our name and wait about 15 minutes, which turned out to be very much worth it. We got a table inside. I ordered the chicken fried Benedict holy smokes. I had no idea the treat I was in for it. I loved every bit of this. I probably ate about a quarter of potatoes, but just because, it was so good paid my friend ordered the tofu vegan hash and a side of the vegetables. We try to mock tail. It wasn't too great so that was taken off. This place was Poppin and it was close to closing around 2 o'clock, but man, the food is fantastic. The lady at the next table offered her some of her haystack. My suggestion is If you wanna try something you've never had before, which is rare! order the haystack & split it for the beginning of the meal while you wait for your food. You'll thank me later. We only had a few bites bleach. The lady next to us literally handed it to us off her plate. Every bite was a different experience and a party In your mouth

    Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs

Get there early - this place gets crowded! Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs: the meat to batter ratio wasn't even - it was more batter. BUT the flavor was delicious and the gravy was really good - didn't look like it would have much flavor as it was light and a little runny... but oh boy was it yummy! Eggs were cooked perfectly to my liking! They have indoor and outdoor seating and ample parking. Would I go back? Yes, for sure!

Delicious and Delightful but costly. Great breakfast place- ambiance is great. Café has postings of so many little cute things. My favorite is "stressed spelled backwards is desserts." One down side is that we had to wait 15-20minutes even at 1:15 PM on a Sunday, when they close at 2 PM. Well, the food was well worth the wait. They have vegan French toast options, using "just egg" products. ($15)- unfortunately for the taste, I probably would not order again, even though it did have a nice abundance of strawberries and blackberries and blueberries on top The standup items were Bobbi salad $18- $14 base price, with candied pecans, feta cheese, strawberries, and a Housemade balsamic. Seven dollars extra to add chicken, four dollars extra to add bacon. The salad was well balanced and came with a crostini rounded with herbed cream cheese, which is really nice. Benedict - perfectly poached egg, I was able to substitute a biscuit, which is crumbly and nice, Canadian bacon. Hollandaise was outstanding. Comes with beautiful bowl of fruit- pineapple, grapes, berries. Hunters's breakfast. $23 Steak (was slightly over cooked, asked for medium, but got medium well. And just a little bit dry. Not super high quality steak, which is understandable for the price), the potatoes were excellent- well fried potatoes wedges tossed in seasoning. The biscuit and gravy on the side is very nice. Was charged $2 for side pico de gallo, no salsa available. House made cinnamon roll- warmed icing and eggless bread. In generous amounts of sugar and cinnamon on the inside. $7 Haystacks are amazing. (Made with egg) Breakfast burrito - $14 only comes with egg and potato unless you add a protein- $4 sausage, bacon, chorizo and you can add $3 mushroom, onions and spinach or both! Which is what we did. Huge burrito. Tasty. On the average side: Vegan French toast - $15 a little dry, generous beautiful berries on top. Just ok. Great to have the option of French toast without egg.

Service today was slow. Took the waitress 15 min to take our order and it was not busy. Both my potatoes and sausage were over cooked. Everything else was good.

Town & Country Café is a great place to go if you're in the area. They have plenty of brunch options and indoor and outdoor seating. There is great service. They also have a small bakery section where you can get cookies or a cinnamon roll. There is a kids menu with plenty of options. There's also a parking lot right next to town and country Café with enough spaces that you'll probably get one. If not, there's plenty of parking around overall I think this is a good place and definitely stop by if you're in the area.

    Burrito with chorizo
    Stefanie C.

The food was delicious! I got a chorizo burrito the only thing I would have liked is if the potatoes inside were smaller some bites were just only potatoes. The service was good our waitresses was very sweet. They are always busy here wait time is usually anywhere from 30-1 1/2 hours. The wait time is long due to limited seating. A great place to come with friends or family due to its ambiance.

Food was delicious. We had to wait a little while to get seated but not as long as they may quote you. It was also Sunday brunch so understandable. However, once we were seated it took another 10 minutes before our server came to take our drink order. She was running around but people came up to us 3x to tell us to wait a little longer while another table after us got coffee pretty quickly. We were happy with the food and drinks in the end, although the steak is a little chewy even though it was medium well like we asked. On the outside it looked over cooked but did have some pink inside. I forgot what the French toast bricks were called there but they are good, super sweet, caked in sugar and the sauce to dip even more sugar and butter but not needed. Overall if I'm in Tracy I'd return for brunch.

Chicken and waffles with bacon crumble and vanilla syrup
    Sam Z.

The wait for a table is atrocious. Currently standing outside looking at three open two-tops and wondering why they won't seat us in any of them. The food better be amazing. Update: the food and service were good once we were seated. The prices were very reasonable and we both ended up with leftovers. My friend had the French toast sandwich; I had the chicken (they were tenders, and a little dry) and waffles, served with a house vanilla "sauce" that was a kind of flavored syrup. I liked the crumbled bacon, it was a nice savory touch. We sat outside at one of the aforementioned two tops. Not sure why they didn't seat us sooner, but I'm guessing they didn't have enough waitstaff.

This breakfast spot in Tracy is so good. This is my third time coming beer but this morning, I came here with my mom and sister today and we each ordered something different but everything was so good. Their focaccia is the best and our waiter had the best energy!

Everything looks the same and the same friendly atmosphere resides. Service is always awesome, and so is the food. This time we both chose the fish and chips lunch which includes 3 good sized pieces of batter dipped fish, and perfectly crispy fries. It was all great. Prior visit - This is a great little place to be for a meal. Totally unassuming from the street and even when you walk up, as it is in a small strip business center off of 11th Street. When I walked in for lunch, I was immediately greeted by a guy behind the bar (which is right at the door) with a smile. I proceeded upstairs to the clean and comfortable 'loft' and grabbed a table along the window so I could see out. The interior is clean and simple, open first floor to second floor ceiling. Great music playing, and just a nice vibe all the way around. Andrea, came by with a smile and greeting, asked if I had any questions, and headed off with my order. I didn't get the bartender's name, but he was just as attentive and super nice, as he came upstairs to my table and described some of the beers he currently has available. Small batch craft beers are good. . . Food: The menu is not so 'typical' as you get to select your protein, the sauce or spice for that protein, then your carb, and your veggie (or make it a salad). Nice choices too. My chicken with Korean BBQ sauce, beer batter fries and grilled Brussels sprouts was good, especially the sprouts. My chicken was on the dry side, but I have a feeling it may have been due to the fact they were managing a party of 15 as well as all the other patrons while I was there. A bit hectic for two people to keep up that pace. I definitely recommend coming to the Upper Room.

Huckleberry's is a great option if you're looking for breakfast. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious inside and can easily accommodate large groups. There are also a couple of semi-private dining areas toward the back that are slightly separated from the main dining room. The interior has a cozy, rustic feel with exposed brick that made me feel like I wasn't in Tracy. Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick to take our drink orders while we looked over the menu. The only minor disappointment was the drip coffee, which had a bit more bitterness than I prefer. I ordered a build-your-own omelet with three eggs, avocado, bacon, and cheese, served with fresh fruit and wheat toast. The omelet was a generous size, and they definitely didn't skimp on the bacon. The fruit was fresh, and the wheat toast had the perfect balance of being lightly crisp on the outside while still soft and buttery inside. Overall, I had a very good experience. I was trying to figure out what to do for our daughter's 13th birthday that wasn't too "little kid" themed and thought maybe we could do an early dinner before your typical crowd comes in. When I looked at your website it was like it was meant to be that ON her birthday you were having your special event. It was perfect. Food- she still prefers her safe food so her meal was the Golden Arches ;) but thank you for letting us bring it in for her. For mom and dad- this time instead of just appetizers we opted for an appetizer (garlic bread), and two main dishes: the pernil and the creamy chicken pasta. Everything was delicious. My husband took one bite of the pernil and I heard him say "oh yeah" lol. My chicken pasta was flavorful and had plenty of veggies and chicken and the portion was perfect for me to have leftovers at home. That garlic bread though-- you are not kidding around with that! It was very tasty! Thank you for the little birthday dessert, while we knew she wouldn't eat it, it was important for her to have the candle/singing experience. Then of course she made us eat it. (And yes it was also delicious.) Hope we can return on other nights both with our daughter and if ever possible for a mom and dad date night. There are many other dishes we want to try.
