A whole in the wall is what you call a place like this. Very small and hidden. You won't know about it unless you drive by and you still might miss it. I found it on Yelp otherwise I would have never known it existed. All the food was good and freshly cooked. The sampler was all yummy with the ranch dipping sauce that has imitation bacon I was told ( because I dont eat pork). I loved the fish and chips. They provided amply amount of tarter sauce. I was using as much as I could on each dip and was still left with tarter sauce at the end. The fries are unique and extremely crispy and different. I loved them. Never had fries like that before, truly unique. Can't wait to try more stuff on tje menu. Pro tip: they close earlier than usual on Sunday so come early on that day. Hubby n I come here fairly frequently cuz we love the breakfasts, lunches or dinners. And the staff is friendly, efficient, and they all make you feel welcome. Yesterday evening one of the specials was a home made pumpkin gnocchi and it came with a pork chop, and soup or salad. The chef actually roasted a pumpkin and used it in the sauce and made the little gnocchi / dumplings. It was SO good. Hubby had the sirloin burger that was covered with grilled onions and mushrooms, plus the sides. My favorite soup is their cactus soup so I'm watching for when they make it and don't miss out. My favorite dessert is the chocolate or carrot cake, but I had to take it to go. They have a cake baker extraordinaire even if they don't always have carrot cake. They have other excellent ones so to offer a variety plus choice of cheesecake and ice cream. Sometimes a pie or cobbler. Ordered my food but waited over 30 minutes for it to arrive--maybe they were understaffed. The food was average, but the service was friendly. After working night shift, it's always nice having a local spot to stop in for a bite to eat before going to bed! I'm so glad I tried breakfast at Four Corners. Their classic eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon definitely hit the spot, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy and crunchy. The staff were all friendly and helpful, experience I dined solo and sat at the bar. The cinnamon rolls are NOT to be missed. Take one to go for later like I did. The OJ also tasted fresh-squeezed. Food was delicious, I had the market salad and partner had the crispy chicken sandwich. It also helped that our portions were generous and affordable! Four corners is a historical restaurant on the outskirts of southern Tracy. This restaurant has been around for 40 years and is popular among older locals. I would say the outside and inside of the restaurant reflects how long they have been in business. I definitely felt like I step back in time every time I walk through the doors. However, the place could use a facelift to update it just a little bit. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sat. They are open from 7am-1230 on Sundays and closed on Mondays. They serve breakfast until 11am. This place can get busy during breakfast and lunch. I've never eaten dinner here, but I'd imagine it can get just as busy. There is a decent amount of seating in the front area with bar top seating also. There is a back room, which has a generous amount of seating. There is one gender neutral bathroom. The staff here have always been friendly and the waitstaff have always provided good service. As for the food, I have only eaten a variety of their omelettes and the linguiça sandwich. There is nothing spectacular about those items, but I enjoy them. The hash browns always show up nice and crispy. They do serve a wide variety of food. According to their website they serve the following: Burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, steak dinners, old fashioned liver and onions, and even seafood - plus, of course, genuine Broaster Chicken. If you want to visit a unique and historical restaurant while enjoying some food, you won't regret your visit here. read more

WOW! On a road trip on I-5 south, wanted to give our money to somewhere local over stopping at a McDonalds. Don't get me wrong, mom & pop shops doesn't always equal good... but this was GOOD. Whole family love love loved it. 6-8 miles out of the way, but so worth. Eggs were fresh, french toast made fresh here, biscuits made fresh here... Outside makes it look closed. I would get a light-up open sign. Hard to tell driving by. Inside is totally different from outside appearance, in a good way. Felt like when we used to stay at a mountain town during my childhood. The ONLY thing that could top this place off would be fresh jam! I would probably make the 1-2ish hour drive from sacramento just for this place if it had fresh jam honestly. Thankful Thursday to this business who is family run from multiple generations. They have amazing fried chicken which is fried in a special way. It comes hot and stays hot until practically you are done eating. We make sure the foil is always covering the tray so it stays hot. I really like their sandwiches, it's such a great deal because it also comes with a generous side which can be a salad or fries. Just to let you know their sweet potato fries are delicious. I also love their club sandwich. Their salad is old school style so mostly ice berg lettuce. But it has an amazing portion of black olives, shredded carrots other toppings. Finally checked this place out after living in Tracy for almost a decade. I can't believe I've missed out for so many years, and it's right around the corner from where I live. This is old fashioned diner at its best! Seems like everything is home made, even the ranch dressing! I haven't found anything here I didn't like, and every time I come I'm checking out other people's plates to see what I'm gonna try next.
