There were easily 6-7 customers in front of me, but I didn't wait long. The gentleman taking orders was fast and efficient! He handed out numbers to avoid order confusion. The taco came on two soft corn tortillas, fresh cut onion, and cilantro. Why do I butcher the simplicity of tacos with sour cream, gauc, and salsa? This taco with three ingredients was amazing! The beef was tender with a mild flavor, the fresh chopped onion and cilantro complimented the beef nicely. No condiments needed! The sopes was on thicker corn tortilla with the edges turned up so the filling didn't fall off. It was packed with refried beans, seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. While not as simple in flavors as a taco with three ingredients, it too, was amazing! The chicken was in a light red sauce, not dripping wet, but tender. It was hard to tell if the refrieds were fresh or not, but they tasted authentic either way. The lettuce was shredded thinly, and the dollop of sour cream was just enough, not too little, not too much. I will eat from Rosa's again!
