He reached out promptly and personally to me after sending a generic inquiry about the availability of this vehicle. Connecting with Lou was easy, which I suspect is a universal experience with his agreeable personality and his steadfast focus on delivering excellent customer service. I was particularly impressed by Lou's honesty and anticipation of my concerns from the moment we first interacted in person. In transporting the vehicle from one dealership location to another, he experienced a flagrant issue with the braking performance. He addressed this promptly before I began my test drive in anticipation that I would perceive this issue, and he guaranteed that all brake rotors and pads would be replaced before leaving the lot at no cost to me. He not only permitted but encouraged an independent test drive with my wife and infant child, allowing me to install my child's car seat into the vehicle so that we could get the true feel of what it would be like as a family driving in the vehicle. When we returned, he was interested in our feedback and allowed us to ask questions without steering us toward a sale. When we had concerns about the vehicle history, he was able to help me and my wife interpret that information. When we entered the sale negotiation, Lou dealt with me fairly. Despite an unfavorable negotiation outcome from my side of the table, the deal was still worth it, and we came to an agreement of sale. Lou fulfilled his guarantee to replace all four brake rotors and pads, and he also fulfilled my request to restore function to a malfunctioning key fob. From the time I arrived to the time I left the lot with the purchased vehicle, which included two separate test drives, Q&A/discussion with Lou, working out financing and other paperwork, and having the vehicle serviced, it took about 5 hours. I was very pleased with the service Lou provided. Lou went beyond his duties to assist me with pairing my mobile phone with the Bluetooth system in the vehicle even after the sale had been finalized. He did this when he was getting ready to depart to take a late lunch at 3:00 PM. The ordeal took 20 minutes, and he never once lost focus on trying to meet my needs even after the sale was made on a trivial task of pairing my phone with the vehicle. I highly recommend speaking with Lou if you're in the market for a used car. Lou might even change your mind about the stereotypical used car salesman stereotype of which many people are skeptical. His sincerity and diligence in providing excellent customer service is noteworthy.

Deceptive practice is the business model. This review is of the location in Waterford, NJ…read more Be sure to check your sales contract for 1) change in vehicle pricing. 1k was added to the advertised price. 2) give the sales person in writing the amount of your down payment to give to the finance guy. A verbal amount was given to the salesman which was higher than what he relayed to the finance guy. Once discovered, an additional call and the redoing the contract to included the correct down payment and monthly payment amount was required. 3) the addition of a warranty. It is made to seem like the warranty is covered in cost by the dealer with the wording 'it comes with a warranty' (it's not; it added to the price) The warranty only covers cosmetic damages to the vehicle, not the mechanics like the engine, turbo, etc and will significantly increase the amount financed and taxes as the warranty is expensive for what is covered. 4) Ensure the approval letter be given to the finance guy. Even after presenting a pre approval letter, finance made additional inquiries with other lenders without my permission. Once discovered, it was determined the salesman never informed finance of the pre approval. 5) Have the vehicle throughly inspected by a mechanic not employed by the dealership if you're expecting not to have to put money into the vehicle immediately. The lie they will tell you is their mechanic did a thorough inspection when in fact, at least in this case, that was not true. Luckily, extensive research on the potential repairs needed for the year, make, and model of vehicle purchased was done beforehand, so repairs were expected. After discovering the issues outlined above, contacting the dealership and not getting a reply, a letter was written with the promise to report them to the state, an acceptable compromise was reached.

I called and spoke to the kind lady who runs that location and was told that they would take care of it. The invoice for that was around $2,200 for how much was paid to Semraj to fix this problem. I paid $60 out of pocket. I dropped my car off at Semraj and the problem was "fixed". the next day i called Raj about the check engine light and the VSC control light coming on and he told me that because it is an old car that it would take a couple weeks for the work that was done to be registered in the system. I should have known that was bullshit, but this is my first car. i bought a 2006 Toyota Avalon under 95,000 miles to uber eats. the young man who sold me the car at route 38 auto knew what i was buying it for and why i needed it. it was agreed upon that this car would be the best fit. I made a cash offer for $6k and was told no so i did $7k and I can tell you my problem had really just begun. i brought my car back to Semraj about 5 times for this same problem (and some others like a flat tire, oil change, inspection sticker information) and each time received my car back with lights off & was told that it should be fixed right now. Any time i dropped my car off to Semraj it was early in the morning and i wouldn't get it until right before closing. Over the summer time when I tried to ask for the invoice for the work that had been done; I was told that the computer that had originally had all the documents from that time was damaged and I was unable to receive the papers and was told to come back with a lawyer. I've spent money at Semraj, GoodYear, Thielman's(the only reasonable mechanic), Midas, and local mechanics to just be ripped off because at the end of the day I WAS SOLD A LEMON!! I spent $9,005.32 on a car that was clearly not ready to be driven and was too old. The Carfax didn't even say anything was wrong with this car at purchase. Since August of 2024 i have spent over the price purchased of my car just to keep this car afloat. Now with new health conditions arising over these last couple months, I need a vehicle to take me to my doctors appointments and unfortunately November 25th my check engine light started to blink and I don't feel safe trying to go 8 minutes down the road to my doctors. What can be done?

I am sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision…read more I purchased a BMW SUV from VIP Auto, and since the time of purchase, the vehicle has had ongoing mechanical issues that have significantly affected its reliability. The vehicle has spent more time being repaired than driven. I made multiple attempts to have these issues addressed through VIP Auto, but I was turned away on several occasions or unable to receive consistent support. While one member of management did assist with some repairs, the overall condition of the vehicle at the time of sale raises serious concerns. After the purchase, I was informed by BMW service professionals that the vehicle showed signs consistent with prior accident-related damage, including observations made during service. This concern was also acknowledged in follow-up discussions. This information was not disclosed to me at the time of sale, and I was not provided with a vehicle history report such as a Carfax prior to completing my purchase. Additionally, there are visible areas on the vehicle that appear to have been repainted. This would have significantly impacted my decision to proceed. I also purchased an extended warranty, which I continue to pay for; however, it was extremely difficult to find a repair facility that accepted it. By the time I located a participating mechanic, much of the coverage period had been lost. After seeking service directly through BMW, I was presented with thousands of dollars in necessary repairs. Even with partial assistance from the dealership, I still incurred significant out-of-pocket expenses, including tires and ongoing repairs. To this day, the vehicle still requires service. In addition, I was placed into a high-interest loan and attempted to contact the salesperson regarding refinancing, but I did not receive a response. Due to the repeated mechanical issues, concerns regarding undisclosed prior damage, and ongoing financial burden, I have explored my rights under New Jersey consumer protection and lemon law guidelines. This has been an extremely difficult and costly experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to obtain an independent inspection, review all vehicle history reports, and carefully evaluate warranty and financing terms before proceeding.
