    Patatas Bravas

Just spent some time in Spain and this place brought back great memories of tapas in Barcelona! Give it a try! Tapas servings are meant to be smaller!! Service was so friendly too!!

Just ok, nothing special. Coffee was like warm at best! None of the entrees were anything special. The paella was the best of the group.

Tapas and sangria were good, not great, but I'd definitely go back again. Happy hour next time.

The ambience is great, but the service is subpar. The bouncer was rude when we entered the bar.

Great atmosphere, the tapas were well priced and delicious. Our waitress was great, could hear the music from the green. We will return.

The menu is some what tied into the Puglia region, which is the heel of the boot. I could tell the italian dialect from the owner when he was speaking to one of the staff, it immediately gave me a good feeling that this restaurant would be really good. The appetizers we had were all really good, we had the fried calamari, the grilled Octopusss, the fried zucchini flowers and thd hummus special. Sorry no pics of these. We had a couple of the Orrechiette Barese, Chicken parmigiana, a pasta special of fettuccine with shrimp in a cream and pesto sauce, another pasta with cavatelli, shrimp and cream and pesto sauce, really couldn't see the pesto, probably could have used a little more or maybe a little finishing with the pesto on top. Service was good and the owner came around to introduce himself and we got a complimentary round of their homemade creama di limencello to finish off the experience. Wr wouldn't hesitate to go again the next time we are in town to see a show.

The space was classy but still casual enough, and cozy. I ordered the Howyoudoin' off the cocktail menu and the gnocci in a pink sauce; also shared the rice balls; absolutely loved everything. The concept of the restaurant is totally relatable for my Italian American family and I find it very funny - cannot wait to bring them in here to try. All staff were super nice. The merch is funny too.

Nice vibes, music pumping, drinks flowing...Chris our server was PHENOMENAL! She was a huge part of our magical experience. I started off with the buffalo cauliflower. I will preface this by saying I'm not a big Buffalo flavor person, but I'm a vegetarian and didn't feel like getting my usual vegetarian app - brussel sprouts. I wanted to expand my palate that evening and surprisingly I actually really liked it. The amount of blue cheese was perfect for me (despite the reviews) as it would have made it too salty and greasy. Next was my entree: Modified Kettle Cooked Zoodles. As a vegetarian, I never have the highest expectations but I was blown away! Chris our server was so sweet to have this customized for me. We took the idea of hubby's Branzino sauce and added more veggies to the Kettle cooked Zoodle dish. It was so yummy! Hubby's Branzino: fish was well cooked, elegant flavors from the Puttanesca sauce with spinach and mashed potatoes were excellent! Faux-ito: I got two, the first was the classic, the second was a mix of strawberry and pineapple. Both delicious mocktails! The Forbidden Pear: hubby got this one. very balanced, not sticky sweet. I can't believe this gem is just sitting here in Fairfield. Not too far off from a night in the city. We will definitely be back!

We decided maybe just a drink at the bar, we ordered two drinks, very flat, no carbonation in the drinks at all, wife's soda had not one bubble in it, my beer had no foam or bubbles at all (extremely flat). Not to mention the stemware was very poor, glasses were very small, very basic, and did not make for a want to be "chic" bar vibe. When paying, placed card down and asked for change for tip- (worked in food industry in the past, always better to tip cash). Bar tender looked at it, and decided to make 4 other drinks first as my wife and I sat there with empty glasses waiting to leave. For a bill under 14 and change, asked for change for a 10, was going to tip $4 and given back two fives, granted it's only $1 but the service and everything did not grant a 29% tip sorry! Would have loved to have tried the food, but as an empty restaurant, on a hopping Thursday night, was very put off on the first impression.

We had the 3-course prix fixe lunch special and were delighted with everything we ordered. The first course was a choice between spicy cucumbers or chips & salsa (thumbs up to both). Then we both had ropa vieja for the third course - deliciously seasoned meat with rice and black beans on the side. Everything was fresh and tasty. I tried to push it aside at first but after coming here more frequently I can't shake the weird vibes. What bothered me most was what happened when my ID was checked. After I handed it over, the manager appeared to spend an excessive amount of time searching for me online instead of scanning it (I've been here many times and they always scan it in the back) It felt far beyond what was necessary to verify my identity and came across as an invasion of privacy. I understand the need to check IDs, but customers should be treated with respect and have their personal information handled appropriately. This experience left me feeling uneasy and unlikely to return.
