I have been eating at table 104 for so long that I never even thought of reviewing it as it feels like a second home. First of all it is so close to the place I work that whenever we have folks in town or need a larger celebratory event, we typically go here hence pretty familiar with their food. Their service and attention to the parties have been spot on, always provide you with extra food and the wait staff is consistently pleasant. Now for the food, you can't go wrong with the pizzas as they are true Artisan pizzas directly from their clay oven, I would highly recommend the Quattro Formaggi and the meatball. The pasta dishes are all great too, the ones I have enjoyed the most are the Linguine with clams, crab cakes and Parmesan Crusted Chicken. A must visit if you are a fan of Italian cuisine. read more

Good food, meh ambience, iffy service. It's kinda weird - he wine selection isn't bad at all, the food is quite good, and the pizza is actually *excellent*. But the ambience is weirdly "suburban sterile" - it just doesn't catch you in any way. I haven't been able to figure it out, but it is the decor equivalent of "grey", and you basically end up with a decidedly "meh" feeling. And the service - oh my. Came on a Friday night without a reservation and was able to get seated right away (party of 2). The restaurant was pretty busy but our food still came out quickly! I got the butterhead salad to start which had a delicious array of ingredients; the marcona almonds, orange slices, and vinaigrette really made it stand out. For my main I got the fig and scallops and it was amazing-- the scallops were perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth, and paired beautifully with the figs, bacon, and peas. I also tried some of the meatballs which were really flavorful and came out nice and hot. Enjoyed my meal and had excellent service, and would love to return! read more

I finally tried this restaurant out and sat at the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the gnocchi dish which was delicious. The charcuterie board was underwhelming. The brussel sprouts were good but also underwhelming. It's most likely my preference so definitely still give it a try. I'll be back to try it again. read more

We live in the area and when we want a reasonably priced place to go for a quick bite but don't want to leave a North Stamford this is the place. The pizza is very good, the fish fresh, the meatballs are delicious, and the entire menu is good. The atmosphere is a bit loud but fun. They have now opened the outside so to dine outside is a plus. Definitely recommend for all you foodies that want to stay local and do not want to spend a small fortune like some of the other places up here.. read more

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. There was a baby shower taking place upstairs so we were seated downstairs in a wine cellar type room that was cute. Taking off a few points because they do not have an elevator which wasn't ideal for my mother in law to be who has mobility issues. The bathrooms are also only upstairs We shared some arancini and meatballs to start, which were both very tasty. Someone ordered the mushroom soup, which was not at all what we expected and the least desirable dish of the meal. It was thick and textured, almost like porridge. The short rib panino, crab cakes and frittata were all very good. They each came with a small side salad, which had a very lackluster dressing. The pistachio gelato was very good. Stopped in here last night after being told at Cafe Silvium there was a 2 hour wait! We are from out of town - dogsitting while my son was on his honeymoon! Seated quickly and found the summer menu filled with wonderful, diverse choices. Enjoyed a great martini and a beer for my sister and delved into the pizza special and the Veal Scallopini dinner! Did not plan very well for Mother's Day and called right after church to see if they could cram 4 of us in for 12:30pm. They were able to put us at a spacious high top booth, best seat in the house as far as I was concerned. Food was very good. Salami/prosciutto/cheese/olive board and calamari as starters, I ordered eggs Benedict w short rib, MIL had veal scaloppine, spouse had pizza, daughter ordered the cod. The Prosecco was a comically generous pour, maybe a millimeter of space at the top. Everyone enjoyed thoroughly. A few nights ago I ordered food take out from table 104. The next morning my husband had extreme food poisoning from the food. I called table 104 the next day and asked to speak to the manager and was told I'd receive a call back that night and didn't even say they were sorry for what happened. I had to call back two more times before I finally spoke with the owner Walter. He told me he'd refund me for the food but made no offer to pay for a meal to makeup for my husband being extremely ill. When I asked he actually stated I was threatening him. I won't be going back any time soon due to the way I treated. It is a shame since I really used to enjoy the food there. read more

Back in August and September, I had communicated with both Walter and Domenico (owner) via e-mail regarding booking a party in January. As of September, both party rooms were available. I called, spoke with Domenico and "booked" the room by providing my credit card information. As far as we were all concerned, I had reserved my date in January and the next steps were to let them know the menu selections and guest count about 2 weeks prior to the party. Invitations were sent out. Come November, I reached out inquiring what would happen if in fact it snowed the weekend that I booked. Walter replied to the email, stating that they did not have my party booked. I had to call multiple times to get either on the phone and when I did, they did apologize for the error on their part, but were not willing to rectify it. I was then LIED TO, by them telling me that both party rooms were booked in early August, when in fact, both replied in e-mail on September 4th. What I gathered is that whomever booked likely had a party bigger than mine - what a greedy move. They offered to displace my party to the Stamford Nature Museum, farther away and a catering hall. Going from a nice plated luncheon at a nice restaurant to a catering hall with folding chair and folding tables. Domenico originally noted a price change in the menu selections and Walter declined to approve this despite their error. While "things happen," they were unorganized, acted in greed and simply stopped replying to e-mails. The food might be decent, but the integrity of the owners is sub-par. I have been wanting to try Table 104 for a while and I'm so glad I finally did. I have been here a few times for drinks and sat at the bar which is nice but this was my first experience eating there. The food is sort of modern American and there is a really nice selection of food options. My group started with the calamari and tuna tartare as appetizers I would say the calamari was better although the tuna was very good. I had the grouper with white rice and mango salsa for dinner which was excellent. Definitely give this place a try if it's on your list. read more

I've come here for lunch a couple times and it's been good. I'm not sure if this restaurant is considered to be fine dining but for me it's more satisfying as a lunch spot than a dinner spot. In fine dining it comes down to the details and Table 104 doesn't really seem to be very concerned with them. Tonight we ordered takeout for my husband's birthday dinner. I ordered the baked lobster tail. For this dish's elements the current menu lists risotto, asparagus, cognac blistered tomatoes, and Parmesan butter. The meal arrived with caviar on it, which is a big thing to leave out on any day of the year, and especially now because I'm pregnant and can't eat it. The restaurant confirmed it wasn't pasteurized and agreed to sub out something else so my husband drove back to the restaurant to get the herb roasted Amish chicken. The current menu lists these elements for this dish: autumn beet succotash, creamy turnip, and chimichurri. The dish arrived with only roasted potatoes and asparagus. The chicken was bland and not very herb roasted. My husband said I wasn't missing much with the lobster tail. A very basic, disappointing meal. read more

Recently came here for Sunday brunch. For $21 you get a starter and entree. If you wish to have unlimited mimosas and bellinis it is an additional $14. Overall the pricing is fair and the menu has good items. The restaurant itself is very cozy and nice to be in. The wait staff was attentive and nice. We came to Table 104 as a party of two at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. We were pleased that while the restaurant was crowded we were seated immediately! We had a great experience. The staff was so welcoming. They had great recommendations for both the wine list and the menu when we were trying to decide what to order. The menu had the perfect mix of starters, entrees (including delicious pasta options) and, my personal favorite, a dessert menu! We ordered the bolognese arancini as a starter which was delicious. We had the bolognese and the fettuccine as our meals and they were both phenomenal. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate soufflé which was out of this world. We had our work holiday party at Table 104 and it couldn't have been nicer! They have a beautiful room downstairs that is private, tastefully decorated and has a full bar. Writing first Yelp review ever. Restaurant was recommended to us by friends who live in Stamford . It turns out that if you don't live near this restaurant, you don't want to go there! It is a place for locals only. We satat the bar and we watched as everyone around us was taken care of while we were completely ignored. We were given no water, no setups, just one menu, and only the salt. I am still waiting for bread to go with my soup. We had to ask for every amenity. Finally we were told by the person behind the bar; " I'm just a bartender, im not your server". The irony was that ever other person at the bar was eating dinner. Every seat at the bar was full, and of course she had served everyone else. Based on volume, I'm sure you could get a good meal there but, I don't know.... I'll probably never know. It was exactly what we were looking for, the food was good, service great and their private room downstairs is perfect for private parties. Everytime I'm here it a delight. Wine selection is huge as they have their own cellar. Portion sizes are ok I wish there a tiny bit more food for the price but that could just be me eating a lot. Alright this happens to be my bosses favorite place to eat in Stamford. He celebrated his birthday, and hosted our annual holiday dinner here. I ordered the salmon and a glass of wine. My boyfriend took me here for Valentine's Day this week and I absolutely loved it! The decor was beautiful and comforting. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. We sat downstairs in the second part of the restaurant. We started off with the prosciutto & mozzarella and gnocchi. I loved both. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the little salad it came in. My boyfriend had the salmon which was also cooked perfectly, as well as the scallops and risotto I had. Our family dined here on Father's Day and we were a group of six. Most of us were disappointed and we would not return to Table 104. I had made a reservation and the staff said they could not locate the reservation and made us wait about 30 minutes until we were seated. We felt as if our waiter was doing us a favor by waiting on us. My poorly made aperol spritz had minimal aperol and I had to ask for more to be added...
