This place just opened and they are doing great. The food is REALLY good and they have a ton of drink options, both local and otherwise. Come support this place in Ogden, Utah! If you're in the area, live here, or are checking out 25th and the Farmers Market, this is the perfect place to come

Had a great meal here today! My husband and I came in and dined on the patio with our French bulldog. The staff were so kind and welcoming to her, they even offered to get her water. The patio was well shaded for her and the pizza was delicious. Great dog friendly place to dine!

We met the owner of this pace while we were dog walking thought we'd give it a try. I ordered online and the ordering system was top notch! We got texts stating our order was being prepared and again when it was ready We got the Crazy Californian Pizza and boy was it good. We will definitely be back for other items on the menu!

It wasn't the best I've had and not the worst. The funny thing is I brought half the of it home because the portions are huge and it tasted better the next day. Your dinner includes a small salad, it was delicious and I used their house Italian dressing which was really tangy and yummy. My favorite thing though were their rolls. I swear I could just eaten about 12 of those! They bring you oil and vinegar for dipping and it was hard to not just drink it with every bite of those delicious rolls. In fact I'm going to call their Salt Lake Location and ask if they sell them separately. They were that good. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Italian restaurants so check them out and get extra rolls!

La Ferrovia Authentic Italian Restaurant is back!…read more After Giuseppina and Jeff retired--well deserved after years of hard work and dedication--the restaurant has entered a new chapter. Their passion was always evident in the food they served, and the new owners are learning how to honor the Southern Italian cuisine that Giuseppina knew so well. We have been there twice with my granddaughter, and it did not disappoint. The penne with white sauce was superb, as was the salad with the house dressing, the fresh bread, and the delicious tomato sauce served on the side. But what stood out most was the atmosphere and the genuine desire to make guests feel comfortable, giving them time to enjoy their meal and conversation the way Italians do. The owner was incredibly kind and even came to our table to make sure everything was okay. Neapolitan cuisine is simple, fresh, and flavorful--it doesn't rely on heavy spices but instead allows quality ingredients to shine. If you're expecting lots of spices, you may be confusing Italian cuisine with another style of cooking. I also appreciate that the owners are open to suggestions when those suggestions respect the cuisine and are offered constructively rather than as criticism, as I've noticed in some reviews. Be kind, and take a moment to learn about authentic Neapolitan cuisine before judging it. It is a beautiful culinary tradition rooted in simplicity, family, and flavor. Welcome back, La Ferrovia!

The flavors were just a bit off, like they were trying to be cutting edge, but the acids and the herbs didn't really click. I had the pork shank, which Fred Flintstone would have found truly enormous, my partner had the mushroom risotto, which was almost purple, incredibly over salted, mushy rice (no 'al dente' going on here...), and tasted nothing like a mushroom risotto we recently had at a local in our town. Our dinner partners had a salad and chicken parm with pasta, and neither of them put more than a few forkfuls away before asking for boxes. The noise level was insane, making it extremely hard to even hear the wait person. I *will* note that the staff was delightful, from the maitre d'hui to the wait staff, all were accommodating, polite, and nice. For the price point, while this place has an excellent reputation, it was not someplace I'd recommend as "top notch".
