My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with Taboo Pizza. After driving past the newly remodeled building on Harrison for quite a while, we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Crazy Californian and The Sinatra. Both were tasty and hit the spot. We found the crust to be light and crispy (Means a lot as my wife will actually eat the crust and not throw it away. That deserves 5 stars in itself) and great flavors/ingredients. It's hard to find good pizza in Ogden so we will definitely will be back. read more

Ordered by phone for takeout. Menu was easy enough to navigate online, the person that answered the phone spoke coherent audible english and the food was ready within 15 minutes. Was only briefly in the establishment 'round closing but seemed decent enough - it was certainly clean. I also greatly appreciated that their new modern PoS system (think only tablet with card reading device) didn't force me to input a tip. In fact, apparently you can't tip there. Works for me! When you take that into account, the medium pizza for $17, no hassles, at least for me, is a no-brainer. Will certainly go back someday. read more

(TLDR: We've tried them out several times, and for now I sadly & reluctantly have to give a thumbs down. I might give it another shot down the road some time.) Okay, so... this is one of those instances when I wish Yelp let you give half-stars. Three stars seems a little more generous than what I wanted to give, but two doesn't really seem fair (especially for a brand new business... I truly don't want my review to sting that much.) We were incredibly excited when we learned that Taboo was going in and monitored their progress closely. All their pre-opening photos & FB posts were really getting our hopes up that O-Town was finally going to have a really badass pizza spot. The remodel is a massive improvement from that hot mess that Pizza Runner had going on... although (and I get the whole clean, modern, industrial-type vibe, but...) just from an artist's perspective, all that flat gray is just begging for a pop of color... just sayin'. We first hit them up the day after they opened. Pizzas were... okay (we really weren't expecting much on day two). The Sinatra (aka Margherita) was the most disappointing of the bunch, but my standards for that particular pie are impossibly high. We've ordered couple times since then, and, honestly it's been pretty mediocre/underwhelming every time. Nothing about them was awful, per se (although some of my peeps would beg to differ), but nothing was all that good either. My biggest beef is that the pizzas have seemed quite undercooked (which I mentioned to the owner last time I picked up our pizzas-- he said they had heard the same from others and had turned up the ovens). I feel like the menu options are either totes basic (the "Classics") or fairly heavy (most of the pizzas on the "Taboo Specials" list) and none of them really seem all that interesting. I could probably go the "create your own" route and come up with a couple decent pizzas. However, the list of topping options is missing at least one key ingredient from each of my favorite pizzas that I make at home (e.g. ricotta, goat cheese, fresh jalapeños, prosciutto, arugula). Oh-- one last note on the food-- we've ordered a couple salads and... although the quality & freshness of the greens seemed decent, they were painfully plain (yes, you can add toppings, but by the time you added enough to make it interesting, that'll be one absurdly-priced salad). The worst part-- they come with crappy packets of dressing. It takes 5 minutes, tops, to make a really stellar vinaigrette (or ranch... or any salad dressing, really) so that just comes off as a total cop-out in my book. Maybe we won't be regulars like we were hoping, but they seem like good folks and I truly hope they do well. Maybe we'll check in down the road and see if it comes any closer to floating our boats. read more

Darn good pizza. I can't wait to come and try other pizzas here. The crust is perfectly done, not soggy and not burned to a crisp, just right. I didn't try any dessert pizza or bread sticks. We moved to Ogden 10 years ago from Kansas City and haven't found great Pizza place until today. We were so pleasantly surprised!! I was expecting a bland nasty pizza to our surprise it was delicious!! I am normally a thin crust person so when I saw the pizza crust I was little worried but the crust was yummy. It was by far the best pizza I have had since Kansas City. The staffs were friendly and it was spotless in side. This will be our favorite Pizza joint!! read more

Amazing pizza and experience. Called and ordered pizza, wings and cheese bread for the fam over the phone. Got there a bit early to pick up, paid for my pizza, waited about 2 minutes and was told they accidentally made one of my pizzas without a topping. Totally fine, no worries and I was in no rush, but they said they'd be giving me that incorrect pizza for free as well. I was taken aback and that wasn't necessary at all, but much appreciated. Then the owner came out a few minutes later and offered me a free drink for the "inconvenience" while I waited. Sure! Couldn't believe it, but they were very kind and they obviously care about their craft. Pizza was amazing, wings were tasty, cheese break was phenomenal as well. This has been the go to place for the family lately! Great pizza, breadsticks and cinnamon breadsticks. They also have vegan options which is great! The staff are very friendly. First time ordering tonight and was overall pleased. We ordered breadsticks, and a pepperoni and margarita pizza. The pizza and crust were cooked great and tasted really good. The pepperoni was good, maybe a little salty for our taste but the margarita was great! The only complaint we had was that we wished there was a little more cheese and toppings on it. (I'll be sure to ask for extra toppings when ordering again.) A little more than the chain pizza spots, but worth it to support local. read more

Wow, just wow. I was looking for some good non-chain restaurant pizza and I found it! I ordered the Sassy Chick, the O Town Philly, and Cheese Boi's. I can't even say how many BBQ chicken pizzas I've had but this was the first that felt like a single flavor, in a good way. All the components came together and worked perfectly to create a pizza where you can take the individual ingratiates while they also combine to create a unique taste. I don't know how else to describe it. So good! The O Town Philly was much the same in that flavors were perfect. The crust was smack dab, right in the middle of the right amount of chewy, flavor, and crunch. Lastly, and amazingly, the Cheese Boi didn't have too much cheese but had a lot fo cheese. Initially I was a little worried as anything topped with a salt usually has too much of it for my taste but, again, flavors were spot on! I've been thinking about this pizza at least once a day since I had it. Can't wait to go back. read more

I ordered the Sinatra and it wasn't very good, very little sauce and about 6 clumps of mozzarella. The dough wasn't cooked correctly, and it honestly was very expensive.
