I have been yearning for a healthy - fast casual spot in San Clemente that has high quality protein options and I finally found it!!!! The chicken kabobs, homemade fresh tabouli, tzatziki sauce, hummus and garlic sauce were the stars of the show! They also have a bowl option where you can pick your own base so you can make it healthy with arugula, quinoa, or mixed greens if you don't want rice!!! Staying at an air bnb after being evacuated from the Palisades fire. Was in search for something yummy to brighten up our week, and came across Tabouli Kitchen on Google. Wow, it exceeded our expectations!!!! We were immediately greeted by the owners, who were so bubbly and enthusiastic. They were very helpful with our selections, and informed us that they make everything fresh on site! Our bowls were exploding with flavor. The falafel was made on the spot and was crispy on the outside, yet so nice and tender on the inside. The pairings of the sauces they recommended were incredible. So yummy! This restaurant is right around the corner from my house. I knew it was there and had been waiting to try it. Went there with a few friends and it was absolutely delicious! I had the Pier bowl. Chicken Shawarma with a bunch of topping options for the bowl. All of the sauces were yummy but I had the lime cilantro and chimichurri sauces. They were delicious! Everything was fresh, and super tasty. I highly recommend and will be going back with my family! Oh, and the staff was crazy nice. We love Mediterranean food and we were so excited when we saw Tabouli opening up in our neighborhood. We just tried it for the first time tonight and it is AMAZING. The tabouli is so fresh and has the perfect combination of bulgar, parsley, garlic, lemon and other goodness.  We got the family meal with gyro meat and falafel and both were incredible. The hummus is so fresh and delicious with the perfect balance of chicken peas, tahini, garlic and other flavors.  And the pita bread is real Syrian bread, thin and perfect for making half pockets filled with whatever you want.  Growing up in a Lebanese house I am quite particular about my Mediterranean food and Tabouli has nailed it - and it's right down the street. Some of the best Mediterranean spots around. My family and I have been here multiple times and had almost everything here, which we have loved. The food is fresh + very high quality= healthy + good value. The owner, Oscar, is a great guy and very warm and welcoming. Great spot where you can get a meal and some fresh dips/spreads/dolmas that the family can snack on throughout this week. Great new place in San Clemente found it on Yelp as I am so tired of the same stuff. Went in super nice employees and helpful in making my bowl. Sort of like cava but they are generous with the protein which is a huge plus. I hope they don't change as cava used to be better about that. I think the owner was there and super nice too. The food is amazing fresh and good quality meats. I got a chicken and gyro bowl and will get it again. Check this place out it is worthwhile and the people there are very nice.
