Most tacos are $1.85 per taco. I'd say the amount of meat per taco is kind of small for the price - the girlfriend says she thought they were a decent size for the price but I eat more tacos than her haha. We got corn tortillas and the tortillas are pretty thick and they give you two per taco so you will get full without a lot of money. I was good with 4 tacos and pretty large horchata that we shared. Without the horchata and empanada I had from La Purisima just before - I would have definitely needed more. We tried the carne asada, al pastor, cabeza, barbacoa. We actually ordered lengua tacos too but they didn't get the order right because it was kind of loud. The meat was pretty good, service is pretty quick. There is a bar with salsas and such. It was cold and everyone was crammed inside today so the atmosphere was crammed chaos. I can't speak for the normal flow but it's pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon. It seemed like people were digging the quesadilla and the plates of carne asada with beans. I'd say it's A-Ok mainly because I've had tons of tacos from tons of places and nothing about the food or atmosphere really struck me as worth a pilgrimage. If I was local on a lunch break I'd eat here again. It's more of a grab a go place. I'd say the flavor of the meat in the tacos we got was pretty good. My least favorite was the cabeza because it was a bit too salty for me. I was underwhemed with the al pastor - they definitely make it better at tortas paquime. read more

This place will have you cooking them breakfast in the morning and asking them "what are we." So far every time I've been there it's always been fresh ingredients, quick in and out, and an overall smooth process. They've got a little salad bar on the side for your choice of garnish, spices and all that. Definitely recommend. read more

Amazing no frills tacos and burritos. We had the asada, pastro, barbacoa, and asada hazz. Amazing!!! The salsa bar was good. They had bottled Mexican cokes. I could have gone back for more. The seating is limited, but there is our door space. There was a line but it moved fast. read more

I think I found a new favorite Taco spot I had to carne asada and one lingua the carne asada were pretty damn good for a taco shop they cook it on coal first she get that smoke flavor in the meat then they finish it off on the flat top their tortillas are crispy but still soft the meat was a little salty though but still so damn Delicious lingua was some of the best I've had in a long time the only thing that sucks is there ordering system there's no line it a free for all and then you pay after you eat so if you want I guess I could slip out the back door if you wanted but over all a good place read more

Great fresh made to order corn tortillas. Street tacos available which use the extra small corn tortillas, they always double up the tortillas. Many choices of fillings most of which are really familiar to anyone of mexican descent. Carne asada, lengua, carnitas, cabeza(beef cherk meat) so succulent, and my personal favorite. They have a salsa bar with a variety of spicy and mild sauces, fresh cilantro (if you like the noxious stuff), fresh cucumbers, onions. A great place for tacos!!! read more

Listen, I'm not big on writing reviews but I can't hold my tongue about this place. Today I had the GREATEST fricken tacos I have ever had in my entire life... and I've had a lot of tacos. We told the cashier it was our first time and he told us what to get and it did not disappoint. I got three different tacos and my bf got the Gordita quesadilla and let me tell ya... These mf things made my tastebuds dance... I will dream about these tacos and quesadilla every day until I come back. If you're far, believe me when I say it's worth it. We ordered the food to go and I swear we wasn't even there for 5 minutes. All I can say is if you're eyeing this place, just DO IT ALREADY. I'll never be the same person ever again after eating here. This is a good OG taco shop just south of Downtown Glendale. Busy spot with limited seating inside and several seats outside on the patio. Delicious salsa bar with cucumbers, hot carrots, limes, Pico De Gallo, guacamole sauce, tomatillo salsa, red tomato salsa, cabbage, and purple onions. Meats have good flavors but tortillas could be better. Jamaica to drink was only average tasted like it is not homemade, I would recommend ordering a bottle of soda instead. Overall I enjoyed the food for a Phoenix taco shop, which despite the fact they are eveywhere in Phoenix, as another yelper stated, they don't compare to San Diego shops. The ordering system is unorganized and the guys taking the orders don't seem to care about what you are ordering and don't want to help at all. I ordered the mixed plate but they gave me tacos instead. Be prepared and clear on what you want before you approach the counter, there is no real line, just look for the guy who is ready to write your order on the paper pad. Best tacos around. Worth the drive. They know what they're doing and do it better than just about anywhere when it comes to tacos.

This place is soooo good. We tried pretty much every taco on the menu and you can't go wrong. My favourites were the Hazz and the Tripitas. I'm a native of Phoenix, but I live in Australia now... I miss having authentic Mexican food and have introduced my New Zealand husband to what real Mexican food should taste like. Even though he's not as adventurous with the different types of proteins, he enjoyed the Ta'Carbon tacos...even the huevos de becerros! This restaurant is open for business at first I thought it was close. For the fire time it was dead but luckily for me it was open. They have an outdoor patio. It's hot but they do have screens to block the sun. They do serve beer but I always go with orchata my fav. They have an open salad bar to help your self with salsa. The carne asada burrito is so good but order two or oder maybe a quesadilla or a couple of tacos to hit the spot. Trust me you will want to eat more but then hesitate because the line does get long however they are fast to bring out the food they will call you by name. I have been to 22 taco spots (trucks and brick and mortar) with great reputations in the valley and this place is in the top 3. The al pastor and carne asada wee both phenomenal. I am typically a taco person, but in the case of Ta'Carbon, I would highly recommend the al pastor burrito.
