Got hungry on a road trip and found this place. Very glad I did. Friendly staff and locals, karaoke and pool games going on, and dog friendly! House dog wanders from table to table looking for donations (but low key) and other dogs came and went with patrons. I recommend the Callahan burger (but be hungry, it's huge - the server tried to talk me out of it) and it was delicious. 10/10 for the Tack Shed. read more

Two words: FUCKING AMAZING! If you're looking for bar burgers and wings, this is the place. Total dive bar with country music playing and a German Shepherd who is so sweet and just walking around... will definitely be back when we drive through this area next time! The bartender (Bri) was a sweetie too! Wings were crispy and spicy and the burger was perfection. Everything you'd want in a bar burger. Stopped in on the way to Arizona. Can't be thin skinned in this place, if you come in with a stick up your ass I'm sure you will not care for it. Had a few drinks, ordered their Tacos, it was taco Tuesday after all. The place was Friendly and regulars were obvious and quite welcoming. Just remember to have a sense of humor and remove previously mentioned stick. Also they are Dog Friendly so our Papillion did not have to wait in the car. Fun Place with good people. Again remove the stick if so equipped and you'll have a great time. Will be a regular stop from now on when coming down to Arizona. read more

I've went in there several times and I've been overcharged once it was brought to their attention they just looked at me like they weren't concerned I also purchase food an hour later, never received. It was given to somebody else, and I was still charged for it. It's really upsetting to know that somebody can overcharge your credit card so watch yourself this establishment. read more

I noticed this little place listed on yelp and am a lover of dive bars. The Tack Shed did not disappoint!! When we walked in there were only two at the bar and the rest empty...our pick of the tables. That didn't last long. The entirety of the tables were full with only the bartender to serve us all. She did a fantastic job! Pleasant and fast! We split a bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! We will be back! read more

We came in on our way back to California with no expectations and all I can say is YES YES YES! It was Wednesday so wings were 50 cents only and oh boy were they good!! My boyfriend got a burger and I took way more than one bite because it was that good! Bartenders were super friendly and everyone seemed to know each other so that was really cool. They served us drinks, in particular beer and whiskey. The beer was cold and the whiskey was whiskey. They also served us food, wings to be specific, and the quality and taste were good. They have pool tables and dogs running around. I definitely didn't get stabbed there, so I chaulk up the experience as a positive one. read more

We were here several years ago while traveling in our motorhome and found it to be a fun bar with good food and a friendly bartender, so we dropped by on our way back from a west coast trip. Things have changed dramatically ... There is a large Let's Go Brandon sign on the front of the building now... We went in anyway, but had to take a table because the bar stools were filled. We grabbed the 3rd table we found available, because the first two were rather dirty. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. After 5-10 minutes , during which time we were unable to converse without yelling to overcome the volume of the juke box, we left when nobody noticed I was dying of thirst in a bar!! We were on a road trip which took us through Kingman on our next to last night. We pulled into town about 7pm and well most places that seemed like a good place to go for the hubby's birthday closed in less than an hour and then I noticed the Tack Shed, I figured they are open, they have food and beer, what more could we want!? We drove over, really close to our hotel and off the beaten path. We both ordered the Swiss bacon burger, the food was great, they had epic beers on tap and some whisky my husband wanted to try and it was Karaoke night! ;) since well before the pandemic I had not sang but I was in a strange town, no-one knew me and I sang three songs! The gal working sang happy birthday (very nice job by the way) to my husband and we had a couple drinks and dinner and an unforgettable night! Thanks Tack Shed staff for the good time! The reviews were spot on I had the French dip, it was great, highly recommend, my wife had the patty melt, also a great choice. This is a dive bar with good food. My husband and I came with his parents who were visiting us in Kingman, and my FIL actually found this place on Yelp. When we arrived he was surprised because he hasn't realized it was really a bar, not a restaurant, but luckily the food lived up to what he'd read! It's a fairly open space, almost reminiscent of an Elks or Eagles club or something. One big room, a few TVs, country music playing. We came on a Saturday night and the place was busy but not packed. It should be noted that covid restrictions are not happening here (that we could see). As I've mentioned ad nauseam in other reviews, I don't eat much meat, and there wasn't much on the menu without it. Luckily I do eat bacon on occasion so I ordered the quesadilla off the "snacks" menu. It's a multi-cheese (I think it said six?) affair with salsa, sour cream, olives, bacon (slightly larger bacon bits - I requested them crispy and they came out quite nice), and jalapenos. I did ask for NO jalapenos, but unfortunately they showed up anyway so I could only eat about half before my tongue burned off. Yes, I'm a big baby. The rest of our group had various meat dishes. My husband had a burger with ham and an egg on it, the name of which escapes me. My FIL ordered the French dip and was quite happy with it, and my MIL ordered a burger and enjoyed it as well. I bet this is a fun place to hang out & drink for a longer period of time, but that'll have to wait! read more

It's a bar, nothing more, nothing less. Walked in the door a immediately hit with the smell of stale beer. More people working there than eating/drinking and not one of them greeted us! If you're looking for a "restaurant," this is probably not the place you want to go. However, could be fun on Fri/Sat night! read more

Absolutely the Best French Dip I've ever had!!!! The meat was so tender and flavorful! The bread was soft and toasted perfect. The fries are hand cut & sliced. So freaking Good!!! The epitome of the fresh, stacked burger is found at the Tack Shed that few places offer (Hodad's in Ocean Beach comes to mind) with any list of fixings and fine sides. The Avocado Bacon Swiss Burger with all the trimmings is delicious, filling, and messy. Warm washcloth and hand towel recommended. Don't be put off by the decorations. Delicious burgers!!! Fried pickles are done just right and go excellent with their beers on tap. The waitress gets busy so have patience or just mosey up to the bar and get her attention.
