First off, our server, Danita, was amazing!!! It ought to be illegal to stuff that much personality into such a small package! My Dad and I came in because I needed to reminisce (I met my late wife here 56 years ago). He had the fish and chips and I had the chicken taco plate. Dad made the mistake of ordering a side salad in addition to his meal. It's a good thing Danita has to-go boxes! We're both going to need them. My chicken tacos were a kind of street taco with lots of good stuff (lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, black olives, sour cream, and what I think is homemade salsa) to put on them. The beans were delicious. Not typical refried beans, but a really tasty pinto beans topped with melting cheese. Dad's "side salad" is ginormous! I guess there's lettuce under the tomato, black olive, red onion, and tomato, but I can't see it! His cod came out as two very large (hanging over both sides of the plate), and he was sure he wouldn't be able to finish one of them. He was wrong! I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap restaurant any more, but prices here are significantly lower than we expected. I'm so glad we came in. We'll definitely be back. read more

The Route 66 themed decor is very low budget dive bar. The fries were great though, and the BLT was a generously portioned triple decker (although I would have preferred crispier bacon). Definitely a good value and worth trying if that's what you're looking for. read more

Attached to the Ramada Inn, this is an easy place to unwind and have dinner and or an early breakfast while traveling. Dinner was wings and chili covered fries. Wings were crispy and meaty and the canyon fries had just enough crunch under the chile that kept them crunchy til I couldn't eat anymore. Breakfast is a 6am and we were there at 5:57, waiting patiently so that a quick bite to eat could get us back on the road. Due to an employee failing to show up, we didn't get seated til after 6:00. The hotel staff worked very hard to get us fed and on our way. I cannot say enough good about them while handling a tough situation. The Front desk clerk got us our drinks and Wes our server as well. She said she had never worked in a restaurant before. She did great though. The food was hot and severed just as fast and they could get it out to us. The place was empty no one around so we walked in & sat so we could see the TV, we're told that they are expecting a huge group but it would be OK if we sat where we did. Burrito platter came out cool, asked to have it re-microwaved. Still came out just above room temp, I have no idea what the 'beans' were not refried that's for sure. I asked where's the rice, this is after second trip to kitchen, server says "oh, the chef said he has no rice". That should have been mentioned when I ordered. Quesadilla Server was not not edible. We had to go looking for server to get a check. I tipped accordingly to the service, but I made sure I kept a copy , YES the charge to my credit card was altered from what I had tipped. Really not impressed. 45 mins for a take out order of pasta? Seemed very disorganized and short staffed. They had one server working the entire restaurant. When I finally got back to my hotel across the street I realized they forgot the meatballs and bread that was supposed to come with the pasta. I ended up paying $17 for bad pasta with no meatballs? We had a party of 7, and none of the food came out together. They messed up the wings and brought boneless when we asked for bone in, they fixed it, but I still had to wait to eat after everyone else. Those were still not well done. Ok ... we were i n the middle of nowhere, heading back to Vegas and found this gem. Open on Christmas Eve, this place was all anyone could ask for. A little adorable diner attached to a Ramada with the worlds greatest server, Bailey.seriously she is incredible!! The food was just ok but it's a Ramada what would you expect, but overall we loved it. They have an old truck parked inside and karaoke. We had a reservation at the attached Ramada inn hotel a few weeks ago just because they are dog friendly and a restaurant and bar was a part of the property. Bonus for us! Arrive at the restaurant when it opened at 4, but cook was late. No worries we had drinks anyways and when the cook arrived the female bartender recommended the Cobb salad. It was humongous and the best salad my husband has ever had. I had a chicken taco salad which was very tasty and the drinks weren't too bad either. We also ordered a very budget friendly burger and fries for our pups and they loved it. The spot is so reasonably priced and so friendly and hospitable. The local patrons were also friendly and loved our pups we were traveling with. Highly recommend checking this place out. Great decor in a laid back, very clean space. Found this place because we couldn't get any service at the Tack Bar, for which I thank them because we found this bar I recalled from a previous trip nearby... I loved the theme both outside and in... I particularly want to mention the lady bartender... The apple juice my kiddos got tasted like straight water, the gravy was watered down, the orange juice tasted of tap water and was warm, and the table we were sitting at was covered in old food. This place was convenient and listed as dog friendly. Looked around couldn't find access to an out door patio so was waiting to see staff to ask about our dog. We were traveling through on our way back from Vegas and stoped in for some lunch. The bartender is extremely nice and there are some locals that are extremely friendly and funny. Wow! We were traveling through from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon so we needed a place to eat before we went to our hotel. We just picked a place that had American food and went for it. Our expectations were exceeded! So glad we came here, the service was fast and very nice. Our waiter, John, was on top of it and he even split our salad for us. The food was just like homemade. It was really fresh and we did not feel bloated after. And the ranch; we are very picky with ranch... It was some of the best we have ever had! Food was mediocre. Manager failed his staff when preparing for our large group. First off thank you for having us. We were grateful to have some place to go and spend some time together. It is disappointing that when we spoke yesterday it sounded like you would have your staff prepared for us. Unfortunately that was not the case. You didn't send the menu as stated until I was already at the restaurant. Sending it would have allowed your kitchen staff to prepare properly and allowed everyone in our party to have received their food. Instead we had some that never received food and some that had to change their choice well after their order was taken. While we fully understand what a difficult time It is with just reopening during COVID, it would have made the orders a lot less hectic had the original plan been followed. It would have allowed for us to submit our orders and make changes as needed prior to our arrival. There were no tables set up for us and your staff had to move diners mid service to alternate tables to accommodate us. Your staff was thrown out there to fend for themselves resulting in them apologizing multiple times and even crying. Your staff is not at fault. They remained positive and did the best they could. It would appear that you didn't communicate with your staff and if you did, you did not prepare properly. Your staff deserves an apology and an acknowledgement for their hard work. Our organization is humble and grateful that your staff is willing to work during this pandemic and deal with a large group as they did tonight. It pains us to see how they hard they were on themselves when ultimately they did nothing wrong. We hope you will share with them that we appreciate all of their work. Food here was yummy, but our server Lorissa really made the place stand out. As the only front of house worker in the entire restaurant tonight, she served, bussed, bartended, and ran food to roughly 13 tables and a full bar, at least half of which didn't speak a lick of English. Any server will know that this is the literal definition of a nightmare. Of course, it took a little while to get drinks out to us, and the food wasn't super fast, but the fact that our orders came out correct at all was a wonder given how busy it was. I will say, if you're an impatient person, just don't visit here. My family enjoyed playing coin soccer on the table while we waited for our food. We all had a lovely time.
