Found this family owned and operated gem on yelp. We were traveling through and had our little yorkie, so we needed good food, but also needed outside dining and found both here! Great customer service, fast, hot food that was wonderful!!!!! We enjoyed our free shake yelp offer, my club sandwich was outstanding. This place is awesome! There is limited food in the area so if you want to find some good food that isn't frozen this is the place to go. Awesome burgers and great shakes. Shakes (mine butterscotch and his chocolate peanut butter banana) were excellent. Burgers were good although a little greasier than I'd usually want. Saw some awesome looking fish dinner plates on other tables and kind of wish I'd gone with that. Very clearly a local small town place where everyone knows everyone (and we were obviously not from around here because we didn't realize we needed to order at the counter before sitting--oops.) They were doing an extremely brisk holiday pie business two days before Christmas when we visited and I wish we'd had a chance to have some of that too. Kitschy as hell but a good road trip stop for sure. read more

Maybe lunch is the time to go. I went about forty minutes before close. I'd gone twice at lunch and it was very good. This time it was dinner and the burger had no seasoning and was undercooked, I received literally five tater tots for the combo. No refill of my drink and even though I had prepaid for that delicious looking homemade pie and tipped three dollars, I could not find anyone to serve me the desert I paid for. I heard them in the back but no one answered my call and never saw anyone again after being served my burger. I just left. I called from the interstate and was given an apology but no offer of a refund for what I didn't get. VERY disappointing! read more

We discovered this place last year while on a business trip to Memphis and returned again this year. What a delightful place! There are no fancy bells and whistles here. The decor is old school advertisement covered tables and booths with walls covered with pictures and posters of John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, and every famous person to ever have graced this establishment. Last year our meals were awesome (and I can't remember the burgers we had, but they were amazing!) but we decided to change things up and order completely different food this year. We had the Wild West Burger, the Italian Stallion burger, and the hamburger steak with gravy and mashed potatos. Everything was perfectly cooked and created with imagination! Of course you can't come here without topping it off with a shake. WARNING: If you order a large shake then understand that they are not kidding....it is gigantic! The ice cream is made in house and is fantastic. We can't wait to return!! read more
