Some of the best Tacos in the city. People drive from Fishers just to go there. Flautas are best with a beer . Tortas are sleep inducing. Everything on menu is good, not just Tacos. There has been ownership changes, but the cook has remained. I will put against any in the city..................

Play frankly this is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants near where I live. It's Family owned. It's not a chain. You could taste off the authenticity and the food. Whether you carry out or Dine in, the is always made order and fresh. For sure here once a month. I have not had complaints.

I love an authentic Mexican spot that gives off hole in the wall California vibes. This place is family owned and besides being the friendliest staff it's knocking out some great food for affordable prices. I got the chicken burrito fully loaded (beans, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion) with a bottled coke and chips n guac. The burrito and guac were great. You can tell it's made fresh and to order.

This isn't your fine dining experience but the food can compete! Came here with a couple of Yelpers and was pleasantly surprised with the prices and vegetarian options. The portions are massive.

After almost two years living within 5 minutes of this place, we finally stopped in. I think that the name "Tacos and Burrito Place" is deceiving. My fiancé (who is from Mexico) hates going to overpriced Americanized Mexican restaurants, I think we've just made the wrong assumption that this is what that was. But I really wanted to give it a chance, so I stopped in to pick up some dinner. It has the "hole in the wall" feel that the best takeout Mexican places have. The menu is very straightforward which I appreciated. But I appreciated their prices even more. It is criminal how much places these days charge for singular tacos and burritos. At this place, there's normal inflation prices without going overboard. I also appreciated that the prices were the same for any meat option. I decided on a small steak burrito with a side of rice. I ordered my fiancé a steak torta. I also got some medium and hot salsa with the order. It took less than 10 minutes for them to prepare. In total, my order was less than $20. We dug in right away after getting home. My pictures were a little late since we were both really hungry by that point. I really appreciated the size of the small burrito. It wasn't ginormous but it wasn't tiny either. It was filled with everything good that a burrito has to offer- beans, rice, meat, tomato, lettuce. Pouring a little salsa on it made it even more perfect. I usually like the salsa verde most, but something about the spicy salsa just hit different this time. I poured some on my rice as well. The rice was tasty, but just a bit dry. I would still order it again, but my expectations would be lower. My fiancé had great things to say about his torta. It was a bit messy because it was filled with so much, but flavor wise he said it was perfect! Overall, we are very pleased with this place and definitely will be going back when we are craving some good and simple Mexican food!

For this one I'm just going straight to the point. They have the BEST pastor in town I promise. Since I moved to Indy I have been on a mission to find the best tacos in town... this place is easily #1 for their postor. So flavorful and just much better than any other I have had!!! Please try it. This place is definitely a hidden gem, modest exterior and interior, it doesn't stand out but I'm so impressed with their food, prices and speed. Most places nowadays charge about $3.75 for a taco but here most tacos are less than $3. Mind blowing! But the taste is not compromised. I tried pastor, asada and carnitas and they were all great. Kudos to them!!

Don't let this dive place fool you, the food is great! Standard menu but everything is fresh! New Birria tacos too! Owner is nice and will take great care of you.

The hidden gem that nobody sees because of the line at king ribs. So glad I got to get in here. Decided tonight to go for the super nachos (ground beef, lettuce, tomato, nacho cheese, jalapeño) and a steak burrito. The burrito had so much flavor, juicy, not too spicy, and fresh chopped veggies. The meat was seasoned very well and they are always so nice in here. I've had the steak and chicken tacos before, fire fire fire. Some of the best tacos in the city. They are allowing dine in and take out. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

I'm now convinced this is the best spot for tacos and burritos in Indy, just wish they could have conveyed that in their name.... Seriously though a burrito sounded good so we grabbed a large Al Pastor, small carnitas and small beef burrito with 2 tacos and guacamole. The guacamole was a hidden gem for sure, so fresh and green but they run out sometimes because of this. Exactly what I was looking for and great service you may not usually expect in a taqueria style restaurant. Love these guys, keep it up!

Very good taco place that's pretty quick at getting your food out. Customer service was good when I called in the order and it's centrally located. I wish they had some sauce for this churro but it was still good. I will definitely be back.

Wow! I've always thought that Chris' Ice Cream had the best burritos in town, and I still love them. But... Taco & Burrito Place is even better, and the Large burrito is even bigger. This is my third time here, and today's choice is an asada burrito, with everything (lettuce, sour cream, etc). The asada is tasty & tender & plentiful. Their verde sauce is nice & spicy, and their rojo is to die for! (They make their sauces from scratch.) the staff & owners are super friendly, and although their dining area is decidedly Un-fancy, it's clean & spacious. Yum!!!

The staff is so friendly! No long lines or waits but food is made fresh. Their lemonade is really good and has a sweet taste. The steak is so juicy & taste sooooo good. The steak tacos are amazing! The fajita burrito with steak is soooo yummy but I forgot to say no refried beans on them. Their churros are long and the cinnamon is delicious! And they are served soooo fresh. This place is definitely worth giving a chance!

Best Tacos in the city. The owners run this place with family and that's how they treat the people that come into the restaurant.

Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.
