I've been back several times since I gave the first review , and like I stated in the second review, everyone deserves a second chance , I've given fast food chains 10 chances, so I can give this establishment more chances and I'm still glad that I gave that chance to this business, because the food is amazing fresh very positive vibes , clean and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend. The best Turkey tacos on the city. Went last week and going back today

First of all .... I did not expect these taco fries to have so much flavor. Mm mmm mmm. When I tell you I will be back. I wanna go right now and try everything on the menu. There was an older gentleman outside who made the vibe feel safe and like I was at my best friend's house. The music (if you could see my face and check my flow) set you right on down to patiently wait for your food. Which by the way did not take long. If you support black owned and haven't been. Go and taste asap.

Every-time i come here it's closed! I've came at all times of the day and it's always closed despite saying it's open online! Today is my 3rd day coming to a closed sign during business hours. Fresh, Thick & Yummy ass French Fries with Delicious Veggie and shredded chicken Tacos!

I want to comment first on the Tacos & the Fresh French Fries. Both were so very very good!! The veggie tacos very good. The well season shredded chicken taco -delicious!! Kudos to all the woman of color in this place & in the kitchen! My Mexican peeps would be very happy knowing these beautiful woman are making it happen their way. I would have given it 5 stars but the wait was pretty long. I'd say 15 minutes. Destiny took my order and she was super sweet and helpful. This place is still being fixed and so I understand that the timing still needs work but overall very good tacos!! Also, they should show what drinks they have bc not many people like to drink pop. (Soda).

    Great chicken tacos!!

Tacos were bomb dot com! Chicken tacos were the best! Also the turkey. I ordered online, everything was packaged well. Presentation is everything! I admire the purple lining paper. Okay enough with the packaging, let's get into these tacos! Tacos were seasoned well, and the veggies were fresh. The chicken was tender, a great savory taste to them. Last but not least, the fries are so good! Anyone can clearly see these tacos are made with love!!!

This taco bar is just that, a taco bar! You walk up to a tiny window that you can barely see into and the magic begins. I've been here many times now and I'll tell you my only complaint is... They're almost never open. If you catch them when they're open you are blessed beyond your years! Everything is fantastic here and the staff are wonderful I highly recommend it. (Check the dang hours!)

The tacos are amazing and I like how all of the salsas and toppings are self serve. Service is super quick and they accept card and Apple Pay. No tables but eating on your car hood is the true LA experience and correct way to eat here!!

The first time I went on a weekday in the middle of the day, so it was super empty and not the best because nothing was being made fresh- the meats and potatoes were kind of just sitting in bins so although the flavor was there, the cooled down temperatures really affected the taste. HOWEVER, I visited a few more times after that, these times all late at night, which really turned my experience around. I think at those times there were a lot more people and long lines, so everything was being made fresh and it being hot just made the food taste so so much better. I love how the toppings are all self-serve, and the hot potato is my favorite side. Carne asada, lengua, and al pastor are my go-tos. You'll want to add hellaaa green sauce to everything- I could literally drink that stuff straight. Love the big easy parking lot here, I'll mention that I saw a few security people checking all the cars and plates so I wouldn't recommend trying to park here and walk somewhere else!

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

We ordered just a couple tacos - one asada and one tripa, based on reading numerous recommendations that those are what to get here. $3.50 a taco which is not bad for a restaurant taco. It's a cool casual vibe here. Seating inside as well as the patio. They have tasty looking horchata and other agua frescas. Colorful walls. They bring your food out to you by calling your name. The tacos were loaded with a pretty decent amount of meat and toppings. But sadly we were far from impressed by the flavor. The asada was okay and better than the tripa, but it paled in comparison to our go-to taco trucks in the area which only costs $1. And the tripa was strange to eat in taco form. The tripa is crunchy small pieces so it just feels odd to eat in a taco. Maybe if it was just served as an appetizer to eat by itself, but even then, it kinda just feels like you're eating pellets. Don't see the hype unfortunately.
