A whim to see what has changed in the 35 years since I last ate at a Taco Bell. This one shares a parking lot with my favorite Boulder Starbucks so I finally decided to give it a try. It is almost always closed when we got to Starbucks so sharing some of the parking is not problem. Some mornings they open at 8am, some at 9am. Starbucks is through a good deal of their morning traffic by then. Order ahead is available at Taco Bell now like most fast food options. You can park and go in to pick up or pick up at drive thru which is what we decided to do. The line was fairly long as many people still order at the speaker/kiosk. It moves slowly. If we do go back, we will try the other method and see if it is any quicker. The food selections have increased a lot as we have seen in their advertising over the years. The new thing we tried and perhaps our favorite part of the meal, was the Nacho Fries, and since you can customize everything, we added the black beans. Meat and cheese already in the basic option. We ordered the Taco Supremes, which were OK. We also got some cinnamon crisps and some of the Cinnabon balls which look like donut holes filled with frosting. My husband loved those. I did not try them, not a frosting fan. The twists were a flimsy attempt at churros, but I will eat cinnamon on anything. But I do remember those from the past. Our decision is that it was OK, better than we had expected. The prices seemed fair and we had plenty for two for under $20. But not nearly as quick as we had wanted. read more

Ordered on the app because i wanted record of the items i ordered. Of course I get home and incorrect items. They can offer me $5 off my next visit. Why would I come back when you can't get 1 taco and 1 quesadilla correct. Employees seem overworked are barely functioning the place read more

Whoever runs this place should be ashamed of themselves. Look, it's Taco Bell, so you go in with low expectations. Wow, was it far worse than I could ever imagine. Every surface is filthy; floors, tables, doors empty condiments. I should have left after seeing that, but was pressed for time. I ordered one item. It took over 15 minutes. I can deal with a wait. But, my order was completely wrong and absolutely disgusting. I threw it away. The staff have to be the rudest I've dealt with in memory. They are miserable and don't even acknowledge you. I get it, you make minimum wage and that sucks. But can you just assemble the 7 ingredients and serve it in a timely manner without being a total jerk? (To not use obscene language) And it wasn't just one of the employee, they were all awful. They literally ignore you. I hadn't been to this location since it reopened and I certainly won't be back. This place is an absolute shit hole. Every time I have ordered from here has been a disaster and says it won't be ready until 3 AM while it's currently 12:30 and the service has never been good. This time I'm fed up. The service is disgusting and the workers are so rude and nasty for no reason when all I did was purchase an order for pick up. The fact that they told me I need to go to pick it up through the drive through and I don't have a car but still found someone with a car who was generous enough to let me in and be my vehicle and they STILL said our order wouldn't be for another half hour, AS we're at the window. This place needs to work on their service AND their manners because it is so unnecessary to be rude to a customer who is purely just trying to get food. Yes I understand it gets packed and flooded with orders but if you say the lobby is closed but don't lock the front doors then it isn't closed. DO BETTER!!!! read more

Look, Taco Bell's foods already isn't the best in the world, it's a cheeky occasional purchase. When I lived in Boulder, out of the like 8 times I went here, it was only open once. Their hours are like only from 12-4pm, which is horrible because people only want Taco Bell after 10pm. The one time I did end up getting food here it was through the drive through and they said they were out of beef. The ambiance is what you would expect, regular Taco Bell, and the service is fast food typical. I do not recommended coming here, there are many better Mexican food options in Boulder. read more

worst customer service i've ever experienced! Ordered my order through the drive through and stated it agian. Came up to the window where they forgot all 4 of my drinks and they then gave them to me. Before leaving i checked my order and it was completely incorrect and looked like they had given me someone else's order with mine. They are just fully ignoring customers. I have cash so I had to go up to the front to pay. Had about 5 workers walk up without saying anything to anyone waiting. So I eventually tried asking and they looked at me and walked into the back. Waited over 30 minutes for my food. It wasn't just me frustrated, people were walking out without their food (that they paid for) because of this service. They just didn't care. This is the best Taco Bell in boulder. The service is great and the employees are nice. I've been here a lot late night and the food comes out pretty fast. The only thing not as good is the Crunchwrap supreme, which they don't put enough meat in as they should. Overall the inside is nice and the food is great. read more

The little girl they got in the drive thru on Thursday day shift needs a new position in the store she has got the worst attitude problem which doesn't make for a good drive thru person. There is no worse Taco Bell on earth that I've ever experienced. I am a huge Taco Bell fan and the other restaurants in our area are all good- but the Baseline location slops together the food, everything is cold, they barely add any meat to the items and the line always moves so crazy slow. I'm so sad that this is the closest location to my home. It's always like this here and I'm fed up with it. Either close this location down or figure your issues out! This is my second review, horrible customer service. We were handed our food and realized we were missing our chalupa, so we told them we were missing it and she then accused us of taking it out of the bag because she "remembers putting it in there". She made us hand her back the bag through the window. When they finally handed our order back to us, it wasn't even the right chalupa. I can pull up to the drive through with three cars in front of me and it takes 35 minutes to get through. I've worked fast food before so I think I can sympathize most of the time but I honestly can't rationalize how slow this place moves. At a minimum the worker could acknowledge and apologize for the long wait, but they say nothing and act like it's completely normal. This place is crazy. Firstly, when I try to go there, since it is very close to where I live, about 60% of the time they are closed. Until recently with no explanation, but now they have an automated voice when you drive through saying, sorry, we are currently closed. No reason given. Today they were closed at 12:30pm on a Saturday... When I have found them open, the drive thru takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes to get through. As of 5-18-2024. The staff are straight up rude, are extremely inconsistent: serving low quality food like 70% of the time, and will not allow you to make a phone call. I called them cause they had served me items that barely resembled something edible, and the woman that picked up the phone was instantly standoffish, rude and just hung up the phone on me after I tried to explain the problem to her. I tried to call back because a refund was certainly in order, and they didn't pick up the phone, we tried calling from a different phone and they sent us straight to voice mail. Hopefully I can get my refund eventually, but for now I will not be returning. read more

Since when did fast food take 45 minutes. Me and my friends came in acting all nice so they didn't bother making our food meanwhile the genuine tweakers get their food with a smile and a high five the moment they walk in. Pro tip: if you go to this Taco Bell please come in wearing a shiesty with a Draco in your pocket because that's the only way the employees will actually throw together some slop for your hungry little tummy.
