Poor food and poor service. Taco Bell is normally one of our favorites but this one was a bad experience. The expensive chicken taco salad came with a 1/2 full salsa cup and no dressing. When we requested dressing we had to pay for it. About 1/2 way through our meal a rap song started that blasted obscenities into the room. We asked that it be changed but they simply turned it down. Unpleasant experience. The gentleman working the register was very kind, understanding and helpful. Whereas the blonde woman with glasses wearing a black fabric mask and black t-shirt with white accents was VERY rude. She told us that she new our food was made wrong and the woman making it didn't know how to make it in front of everyone. You could easily tell that the women working did not care. I have sympathy for the gentleman working as he was treating customers with respect and trying to fix the issues where the women were continuously yelling and being demeaning towards the other employees. Finally, a day off to do whatever we wanted. We called ahead to make sure breakfast was being served. This breakfast was a special occasion. We knew we would need to do double-time at the gym for what was about to happen, but it was a trade-off we were willing to accept. And suddenly, like an intercepted pass in the end zone of the Super Bowl... the woman tells us that inside Taco Bell, "it's 11 for us" when our clock said 10:50. Apparently the Bremerton Taco Bell is able to bend time and space-- something great scholars and Nobel Peace Prize winners have yet to conquer. They don't serve "mexi fries" but some nasty half-inch gobbets of potatoes, yuck. But I like the 7 layer burrito (asking for extra rice) as a cheap quick meal. I just wish they had mexi fries to go with it. The quesadilla isn't too awful. Once it had black boogers on it -- burnt crusty bits that looked like black boogers -- and I had to pick those off. Usually it's fine though, just nothing special. I've learned over time to stick to the 7 layer burrito. It's not always exactly the same, so unpredictable, but it's never been nasty. The last several times I have gone to this store, when I got home, I have always discovered at least one item missing my order. Tonight, 11/22/2020, I placed an online order and decided to pick it up in store so I could check my order before leaving. Within 30 seconds of being in the store, I could tell there was something seriously wrong. First, no one was paying attention to the counter, customers needed to call attention to themselves. The store was understaffed, the line of cars in the drive in was at least 10-15 cars long and was moving very slowly. There were employees audibly complaining about the work in front of customers. Even worse, the attitude of the shift manager was abysmal and though throwing together orders was obviously not doing QA on the orders as evident of my order. When my order came up, I opened and noticed that I was missing 4 items as well as the 2 drinks that were supposed to come with my order. When I called attention to it, the shift manager told me, "Sir, I am not going to argue with you, if you want free food, we will give you free food." I had my telephone order open on my phone and offered to show it to her, but she would not even look. The atmosphere in that store behind the counter is toxic. In the futuristic film Demolition Man with Westley Snipes ,Taco Bell is the last standing food chain. The dining area is disgusting, tables always dirty and the windows are so dirty you can hardly see out of them. They look as though someone used the wrong cleanser to wash them as there is a hazy film over the entire window. People have started drawing faces in the hazy film.
