The original building is gone, replaced with a new structure. I enjoyed my occasional visits, new staff, new dining room, a friendly manager who did a terrific job. I want to start off by saying that the teenagers that work here are genuinely friendly. However-- lately it is especially rare to get your right order here. We have been getting the complete wrong order, or what we ordered but not the special order (order no sour cream, it comes with sour cream). I go to this location often, having lived in this area forever last Saturday so afternoon 1/8/22 the drive up attendant told me at the window they are not giving change because their short, I advised her she has to give change I took back the money and gave her exact change. I try to eat fairly healthy but I always crave Taco Bell. This location is close to the parkway so when I'm on my way home from work at dinnertime, the force that is Taco Bell occasionally pulls me in...well through the drive through lol. I always order 3 crunchy tacos "fresco" style which means no cheese or sour cream and pico de gallo in its place. Standard tacos you'd expect from Taco Bell. I'm going to start this off by saying we don't eat much fast food but every once in a whole my kids can convince me to take them to Taco Bell We pulled up and there was a line of at least 10 cars at the drive thru at approximately 1:45pm on a Wednesday. With such a long line we decided to dine in. Probably a mistake. There was a line inside that went painfully slow (fast food!?) When they take your order they now ask for your name instead of assigning you a number. I guess that's a nice touch but the girl behind the counter was having a hard time understanding orders let alone names. The food came out fairly quickly. They have a new fangled soda machine I suppose they are trying to compete with the coke machines that can make any combination of sodas but they failed. The quesaritas we ordered were surprisingly spicy. I didn't see that as part of the advertisement but that error could be on my part. My daughter couldn't eat hers. The most disappointing part is the place has been open for a few short months and is already greasy grimy dirty filthy. Splatters and smears on the walls. Holes in the seats. I was just there around 2am and granted it's pretty late but what i got was absolutely the worst customer service because the cashier forgets to put in my order and when i get to the drive thru he proceeds to fumble over to his co workers and wonders what the error was. Decent Taco Bell, but not as good as the location on Jericho Turnpike in East Northport. Can be difficult to access during peak hours. Sometimes the drive through line goes out into traffic. Moves very slow. Make sure you check your order before you leave. Food is fresh and made to order. Employees are polite but not very friendly. Parking gets cramped when busy. They never have any 10 or 12 inch burritos which is half the menu, whoever the manager of inventory is should be fired and never work in the food business ever again this is ridiculous as i have come at least 4 times looking for burritos as they are by far the best and cheapest menu items.
