These are more Mexican style burritos as opposed to Cali style. The menu is enormous in a good way as is the burrito loco! That's my favorite, I am an eater! I get mine with pulled pork, w/o rice and no cheese and sour cream. I did choose guacamole, but it didn't come this time. My partner was really happy with his chicken burrito loco!Make sure to try the birria tacos- they are so flavorful and delicious. You can sit inside, or take out. It's clean and they have a whole back room as well. Be sure to advantage of the free salsas! The red and green are my favorite. Wanted tohave something different on Friday instead of pizza. So, we tried Burrito Loco and were pleasantly surprised. It was very good. We started with the jalepeno poppers and the chicken taquitos. Both were very good. Also, we split a beef tamale which was very good. I had the shrimp burrito gamba. The shrimp were fresh and flavorful. I just wish there were a couple more. Guacamole and chips - chips are exactly the restaurant style chips I'd expect and hit the spot. Guacamole is a little liquid for my liking, but still solid. Diced tomatoes were unexpected but a solid add. Taco Al Pastor - I wish I knew. One of my favorites, but there was too much salsa to really get the al pastor flavor. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty. The ingredients are really high-quality of the Pico de gallo was very fresh and the quesadillas themselves were very good and he still piping hot when they got to me. A drink is $1 and change; this put a single meal, that tastes just alright, at almost $12... for what? All I had was melted cheese in a tortilla, with a very small portion of chicken... Not overly expensive here but for what you are served, the prices are too high. Don't get me started on the crack squad of employees; service wasn't even as good as these pimple popping teens could offer. They give you an extremely small side of tortilla chips with your order and inform you of the "salsa bar." I placed an order with them and I ordered a flan and it had mold in it. I called them and told them what happened and they guy told me to hold on and he was going to check the fridge, when he came back he stated that in fact 2 other flans also had mold and that he must have missed them when he checked in the morning. It's not everywhere we can find a chorizo quesadilla so we were pleased they had this option. The quesadillas, taco, and wings were so good! The wings especially were nice and crispy. The sauces available were also great ranging from a mild salsa verde to a more spicer sauce, which my hot sauce loving boyfriend highly enjoyed. We took the empanadas home for leftovers so we haven't tried those yet but we are excited to come back here the next time we're in the area. Went here for first time since living here for many years. Worst customer service, front counter experience ever. An older women working there was totally clueless with managing front area. She took my order for a burrito and taco while I waited there for my take out order. I'm thinking this is taking to long after 14 minutes so I ask about my order. A young lady ask for my name , told her they never ask for my name when I placed order. She looks into it and finds it sitting on a shelf for pick up, while older women just standing in background. I've been coming here for a long time. Everything has always been great and then tonight happened. I ordered and was told 20-25 minutes for pickup. I got there 25 minutes after I called (on time) and they told me they were a bit behind and it would be another 15 minutes. I waited for another 45 MINUTES! The girl with the glasses who answered the phone lied when when she told me 20-25 minutes, then lied AGAIN when she told me another 15. I saw the cook put my food on the grill 5 minutes before my order came out. I heard the girl and another co-worker joking on how they should called out tonight because it was so busy. I'm really considering not ever coming back. It's one thing if you tell me up front that it's going to be a while. Even give me an accurate amount of time when I show up. I'd be angry but would have had the option to go somewhere else. I waited for 45 minutes when she said 15. One hour and 5 minutes for a 20-25 minute order. Unacceptable. The burrito Classico is my favorite they pack a large amount of steak in it so every bite is not just a load of rice with a little meat. When you were in the restaurant the food was great and nearly never a problem with items being missing . However, as of lately ours last 5-7 orders there is ALWAYS A PROBLEM .We are constantly having to go back to get items that are not in the bag and have been ordered and or the items are not made properly.We have let it go many of times because we are owners ourselves of many food businesses in the city. Unfortunately I think the kids running your business are the problem . They are not running your establishment with care that the owner would . This last time may be our last and Being a 20 plus year Commack / dixhills resident from what I hear we are not the only ones that feel this way . The fact that they make the burritos enchilada style (melted cheese and red enchilada sauce covering the burrito) is incredible. The chili meat is the best option. Their guacamole is fresh and so are the chips - always warm - do give that a shot too. As for the prices .... they're spot on. If you're looking for $1 tacos try Taco Bell. Ventured here as the line at Southwest Moe's was just too long. Had been here many years ago and I remembered the owner was very nice and explained the dishes to me enthusiastically. The establishment is located in a Commack strip mall. Tacos, Burritos, quesadillas, salads made to order. Portions are very generous.... salsa, guacamole, sauces made fresh. There is a sit down area but most of their business is take out. They also have smoothies made in house....not a fancy place but it offers reliable freshly made meals. read more

Seems very similar to Moe's but a little more "Mexican." The food definitely has more traditional ingredients used in the food and not as "Americanized" as Moe's. The food was fairly good, the chicken tacos I had were not bad but a tiny bit on the expensive side. I got take out but there is plenty of seating at this location and a tv in the back dining area.
